[Sir Avery, do you have any more questions?] A worn-out brown teddy bear with a red ribbon on its neck asked.

Avery dismissed his system with a wave of his hand making the teddy bear flop down as its inhabitant disappeared.

It fell over lifelessly. Avery had the tiniest thought of 'As it should be. Teddy bears were never supposed to just stand up and talk.'

He pondered over his new body's situation.

River  Spencer was this body's name. He was a cannonfodder whose life was made hell to make the male lead depressed so that he will fall in love with the sunny smile of the female lead.

River was a spoiled teen. His parents were multi millionaires who never had time for him. But he did not rebel instead he actually acknowledge that his parents just want the best for him. He follows his parent's words law.

However, he does not behave like that with his friends. Due to his pride, he pretends to be a bad boy. He drinks when he is with his friends but makes sure not to get drunk.

River is a childhood friend of Elijah Romina. As the male lead,  Elijah have the face of an angel, body like a model with firm muscles and a perfect 'stoic' prince-like personality.

Elijah thinks of River as a brother but he highly disapproves of River's exploits. He thinks River is lucky that the media haven't caught a whiff of it yet.

Elijah had a talk with River's parents who were shocked that their disciplined child was like this.

Elijah just wanted River to be like how he used to be when they were children. He also wanted him to leave his so called friends.

He thinks its better for his friend to experience one controlled media exposure as a lesson so that his exploits will be curbed to which his parents agreed to. They thought that its better to teach him a lesson while his bad habit is still limited to drinking and partying.

Unfortunately on one of River's pretend exploits, one of his friends put a drug on his drink.

River unknowingly drank it. Afterwards everything was a blur, he did not know he spent the night being drugged and taken advantage of by his friends.

When his parents and Elijah  saw the pictures they were shocked that he was not only just drinking but also doing drugs and sex.

Elijah and River's parents paid a hefty sum so that the media will no longer expose it.

River's parents grounded him and sent him to a rehabilitation center not listening when River said that he is a victim while Elijah also turned a deaf ear whenever he visits his friend.

Unbeknownst to them, one of River's friend bribed the nurses to see their friend. They went to see River and did another repeat of what happened that time. River wanted to tell his parents and Elijah but feared that no one will believe he is the victim.

As a result for the six months that River was there his condition did not improve. He was however released because of the bribe given to the nurses.

When he was released photos of what happened at the rehab center spread, depressed that no one believes in him not even his parents, River thinks he could not sink any lower and killed himself.

After he dies, Elijah become depressed because no matter what he did his bestfriend still did not change.

He blames himself, if only he found out about his addiction sooner then it will not end this way.

It was because of this depression that Elijah decided to see a psychiatrist and he met the female lead who is a clerk at the clinic who fell in love at first sight with the male lead's tragically sad but handsome countenance...

Avery stopped reading. He had enough, he will not follow the script this time. He did not waste a millenium of experimentation on how far he can exploit the system to just follow it this time.

Avery discovered that its not impossible to change events in the story, as long as the character is not acting out of character he can create a minor change in the storyline.

"River is prideful and follows his parents words like law..." Avery muttered and smirked.

"I can work with that."

Avery is the name that our protagonist adapted from the other worlds. He can't actually remember his name. :)
