An hour later...

"Dame Maya"

"Yes, Mistress Hansa"

"Miss Denallie will be in the library after her training ends. So, she already told me to punish you whenever you try to break off that rope" Hansa said.

"A-as you wish, Mistress Hansa" said Maya, drenched.

"Oh, I will be with you for today. So don't be a naughty lady and break the rules, okay?"

"I-I understand, Mistress"

*(Glance)

"Dame Maya" Hansa said with a threatening look.

*(Twitch)

"Y-yes, Mistress" said Maya.

"When you walk out that door, I want you to act like you normally do. If I hear that someone notices that something is wrong with you, you will receive an even harsher punishment. Got it, Maya Andhira?" Hansa said as she kissed her lips.

"Y-your orders are my wish, Mistress" said Maya while blushing.

With that, Hansa and Maya left my room. Everyone noticed that something was going on between the two of them.

When I arrived in front of the library, there were two female knights who are carrying out their duties.

"G-good morning, Miss Denallie! What brings you here on this beautiful day?" asked the guards.

"Good morning, you two. I'm going to study in the library whole day today. Can you two open the door for me?" I said, smiled.

*(Blush)

"I-it is our job to serve you, Miss. Please, call us if you need anything while in the library" said her.

"Fufu..I'll keep that in mind"

As soon as I entered the library, I'm really amazed at the sheer number of books here.

"I should have start with economics and politics first. Followed by ancient languages, and sacred languages. And lastly, an etiquette book"

Using my magic, I took the books I needed and brought them to my desk. It's also great for me getting used to my magic.

"I'd be done if someone found me using this magic" I said.

Well, there's nothing wrong when someone has magic. It's just that, the element of my magic is darkness. And everyone knows how scary it is.

It may not be mentioned in the novel what element Denallie has. But it turns out she has an element of darkness. No wonder Denallie always relies on her sword skills.

If you ask me how I found out my element, then my answer is the first time I realize I'm Denallie. Right when I'm writing down important things. While writing, I suddenly wanted to drink something. Without realizing it, there was a glass with water floating right next to me. To be honest, I was really shocked to see that shadow hand. That was the time I really grateful to have such a good composure.

Suddenly, a knock on the door interrupted me while I was reading.

Then, a maid came with a letter with an emblem that I knew very well on it. The Imperial emblem, a golden moon. It means that the empire is a dazzling moonlight and becomes the light that leads their people to prosperity. Although it's different from what really happened.

"What message was written in that letter, dear?"

*(Flinch)

She flinched.

To make every maid here surprised like this, just how cold am I before my memory returned?

"Can everyone in this mansion stop being surprised? I did decide to change, so get used to it. Understand?" I said.

"Y-yes, Miss. I apologize" said her while bowing.

"So? What message was written in that letter?"

"H-His Highness, the Crown Prince, invited Miss to the Imperial Palace" said her.

"What? The Crown Prince?" I asked, surprised.

Just what the Crown Prince wants from Denallie at this age?

This is bad. I can't meet that son of a bitch right now. If only this letter had come five years later. Right now, I still don't have enough power to face the consequences.

All right, I decided.

"Oh~~would you look at that. My head's a little dizzy. I think I need to rest in order to heal myself"

"Huh? Miss? What are-(Gasp)! That is terrible, Miss. I will tell the Crown Prince's messenger that you're not feeling well right away" said her.

Glad she can understand what I mean.

Then, the maid left me.

From that day on, I trained my physique from dawn till dusk. After the sun is down, I practice etiquette and learn everything I need. Today, it's my 14th birthday. I don't really think my birthday is anything special. But, the maids at the mansion insist on celebrating my birthday every year. Well, I feel bad for refusing their request given how long they've worked here.

*(Step step)

"My Lady!! Please end your sword training now. You should get ready for your birthday party!" a maid shouted.

*(Wipe)

"Haah.....okay. I'm going to take a bath, so prepare it now!" I said as I wiped my sweat.

*(Swish)

"Happy birthday, My Lady. I wish you all the best" said Maya.

After a few years of training together, Maya and I really grew strong. Not to mention, my magic has become very strong now. Even though I haven't told everyone about it. I think I'll wait for the right moment to show it.

"Thank you, Maya. So, how's your relationship with your lover now? Fine?" I asked.

"Y-yes, My Lady. I'm planning on marrying her later" said Maya.

"What? Why later?"

"I need to serve you, My Lady. At least until your coming of age ceremony. I can't leave your side until you reach adulthood. Hence, I will carry out my duty until then"

Gosh, did she really have to speak like that? If it were someone else, they would absolutely fell for her charm.

Well, there's already one, though.

"Thanks, Maya. Then, see you at the party!"

When I'm taking a bath, the maids really don't leave a single dirty spot on my body. Although some of the maids who bathe me are fixed to see my body in the same condition as when I was born into this world. Well, it didn't bother me so I let them see it wholeheartedly. .

*(Knock knock)

"What is it?" I asked.

"The stuff you ordered are here, My Lady"

Finally, the stuff I ordered is here.

"Bring that stuff here. And I only need the Headmaid to help me dress up. So everyone except her, leave" I said.

Obediently, all the maids left my room, leaving the Headmaid alone with me.

*(Rustle)

"You know how to put these clothes on, right?" I said as I showed her the stuff I ordered.

*(Shocked)

Well, her reaction was as I thought. After all, this clothes is not normal for a lady to wear. But, being different is good right?

"M-My Lady?? A-are you sure you will wear that at the party? T-that is menswear, isn't it? I'm not sure if it's appropriate to wear that at party" said the Headmaid.

Honestly, I really don't like wearing the long dresses that maids provide for me. I'm sure Denallie doesn't like wearing it either, though it's never mentioned in the novel.

"I'm asking you. Can you help me put it on?" I said with a threatening tone.

*(Shiver)

"Y-yes, My Lady. I will help you wholeheartedly" said her, bowing.

"It is done, My Lady. I can't believe what is in front of me. Oh God, You look really charming, My Lady. I am sure everyone has the same reaction as me when they look at you"

"Thank you. Next time, just prepare a clothes like this. I'm going to wear this style at all parties from now on"

"I understand, My Lady"

"All right. Shall we go now?"

And just like that, my birthday party begins.
