The start of canon

Hyuga residence

Hinata woke up bright and early, today was the final day of the academy and it would be the day where she would complete the exam and legally become an adult and a shinobi in the village, but that isn't the reason Hinata was feeling excited, no she was feeling excited because Hinata and Ino had promised themselves and each other that as soon as they became legal adults in the village they would confess to the boy they loved. Confess to Itsu.

When Hinata first met Itsu she instantly liked him, he not only saved her from a group of bullies but he was also her first real friend, she had struggled to befriend kids her age since most of them thought she was weird because of her eyes but Itsu was the only one apart from her mother who called her eyes beautiful, the moment he had called her beautiful was the moment that Hinata instantly liked him and over the years those feelings had developed from just a school girl crush into one of true love.

Hinata knew for a fact that she loved Itsu because she couldn't get him out of her head, whenever she looked at his face her heart beat faster inside her chest, every time he complimented her she felt like the happiest person alive, whenever she couldn't be around or near him her world seemed dull and colourless, he brought happiness into her life and she loved him for it.

Hinata got out of bed with a look of determination on her face, a look that she would never of had years ago but Itsu had helped her confidence in her self soar over the years which is another reason she loved him, she did her daily morning routine, she used a few moisturisers that Ino had recommended to her since because of their shared love over Itsu they had more or less become best friends.

After finished in the bathroom Hinata went down stairs, she saw her father and shared a small greeting with him, even though Hinata was no longer seen as a disappointment and was now seen as a proper heir to the hyuga clan her father still remained cold to her, he did occasionally show some emotion but that would be very rare, after Hinata ate a large breakfast prepared by the chef in the kitchen she made her way towards the academy.

Yamanaka residence

Ino woke up and stretched, today was an extremely important day she was going to confess to Itsu and she wouldn't be taking no for an answer, there was also the final exam and graduation but that was less important. Over the years Ino's love for Itsu has grown leaps and bounds, at first Ino liked him because he was good looking and also strong but over time she fell in love with not just his looks and strength but everything else about him, she loved his personality, she loved the way he smiled, the way he laughed, she even fell in love with all of his flaws to. That's why even if Itsu rejected her confession she would chase after him for her entire life if that's what it took for him to be with her.

Ino got up and did her morning routine then headed down to see a large breakfast cooked by her mother, she smiled and warmly greeted both of her parents before sitting down and eating a large breakfast, because of Itsu's encouragement Ino no longer dieted instead she made sure to eat a healthy amount of food with all the requirements needed for a growing woman.

Ino left her home and made her way towards the academy with an extra spring in her step.

Academy

The students made their way into their classes, some had excited looks on their face, some looked nervous and some didn't show any emotion one way or the other, today would be their last day as they would be taking their exams to determine wether or not they would become shinobi of the hidden lead village, the first exam was the written test, then they would move onto taijutsu then shurikenjutsu and then finally they would they would have to preform the three basic ninjutsu.

The tests proceeded almost exactly like canon but the only difference was that Naruto got perfect scores and was given first place which irritated Mizuki to no end as he had always tried to hinder Naruto's growth but it never worked instead Naruto was the classes number 1 student while Saskue was number 2, another change was the fact that Hinata and Sakura tied for the number 1 kunoichi while Ino was a close second.

"Congratulations for getting number 1 in the exam Naruto and since you ranked first you now have the option to take the secret test, all you have to do is steal a secret scroll and if you do you get a large reward, so what do you say do you want to take the test?" Mizuki asked Naruto in hopes of tricking him into stealing the forbidden scroll for him so he could give it to Orochimaru, Naruto looked up at Mizuki with a bored expression on his face, he could easily tell Mizuki was lying and whatever test he was talking about would be nothing but trouble so he decided to not get involved with whatever he was doing, "No I'm good" was the only thing Naruto said before walking away with his hands in his pocket and his new shinobi headband around his forehead.

After all the exams were finished the atmosphere was a mixture of many different emotions, some felt despair and sadness while others felt relief and happiness. Those who had passed the exams were told to come back next week so they could be assigned their jounin sensei while the ones who didn't pass would be moved into civilian lessons to be taught how to become merchants, business men, farmers etc.

As Naruto was about to leave the school Sakura ran up to him, "Hey Naruto, I-I have something important to tell you so do you mind if we can talk somewhere private?" Sakura asked with a slight blush on her cheeks, "Sure I don't have anything to do so lead the way" Naruto responded while shrugging, after getting her answer Sakura looked towards Ino and Hinata and gave them a nod. Ino and Hinata nodded back, everything was going according to plan, Sakura would confess to Naruto while Ino and Hinata confess to Itsu.

Hinata and Ino waited in front of the academy for a few minutes but for them it felt like hours, Itsu promised to pick them up on their final day of school and they were getting worried he wasn't coming, but their worry was unfounded as they could see Itsu walking towards them with a smile on his face and his hand in his pockets, both girls blushed slightly seeing him smile. "Hey there Ino, Hinata I'm sorry if I kept you waiting" Hinata shook her head "No it's fine we didn't wait long" Ino nodded her head agreeing with her friend. "Well anyways congratulations on graduating from the academy, I know you two will be great shinobi"

Ino and Hinata smiled, it warmed their hearts hearing Itsu compliment them, "Um Itsu-kun me and Ino have something important we want to tell you" Hinata said while looking down suddenly very interested in her feet, Ino nodded in confirmation her cheeks slightly pink thinking about how she was going to tell him she loved him. "Okay let's go somewhere private then, take my hand" Both girls took one of Itsu's hands, they knew what was coming next even though they were used to being teleported around by Itsu they still didn't like the feeling of teleporting.

After making sure both girls were holding on to him Itsu teleported to a flying raijin seal he placed on top of the hokage mountain. Itsu turned around and was about to ask Ino and Hinata what they wanted to talk about but before he could even say anything he was tackled onto the ground by both girls jumping at him, he was dumbfound and his confusion only increased further when Ino suddenly kissed him but he didn't struggle he kissed her back.

They stayed like that for a few seconds before Ino pulled away and Itsu's lips were again sealed but this time by Hinata, after a few seconds Hinata pulled away and Itsu was left speechless, this was the first time that he had kissed either of them on the lips and it felt nice, their lips were soft. "Itsu we both love you, please accept us" Hinata and Ino said at the same time both girls were extremely anxious, they were preparing themselves for rejection but Itsu just wrapped his arms around both of them and brought them into a hug.

"I love both of you too and it would be my pleasure to spend the rest of my days with you two" Both girls after hearing his response cried tears of joy in his arms, he held both girls against his body and the three of them stayed like that for a few moments enjoying each other's company.
