128 Visiting Unlimited Food Works

"Sir Kalan, please come this way!" The manager recognized Kalan and immediately came forward and greeted Kalan.

Because Kalan was so famous right now, it would be weird if the manager of his food company did not even recognize him.

Kalan followed the manager inside and saw the food production plants.

"We have researched and tested various production methods, this one we use right now is called..." The manager explained as he guided Kalan through the company.

"...In order to produce the highest quality ingredients... And this way we can also produce with the highest quantity without a loss in quality..." The manager continued explaining dutifully.

There were many droids and machines regulating the production plants, making sure all the vegetables, fruits, and root vegetables would grow in its best condition.

Walking down further, Kalan saw many fences with various livestock, some more exotic, some more common. There were even dinosaur-like creatures, some growing several meters tall. The company was situated a far distance from the city, Kalan could understand why considering the large space taken up by his company's food production.

Finishing touring the food production site, the manager brought Kalan to the food preparation site. Kalan saw many machines with droids supervising, making sure each ingredient were washed cleanly, quality tested and well preserved, before sending them to the cooking site.

"This is where we research cooking techniques and new recipes." The manager guided Kalan to the cooking site. It was a large building divided into many sections, there were many different food cultures and different cooking methods. Those of similar cooking methods were places close to each other, making it easier for the chefs to research their recipes in peace.

There were many people of varying gender and races. Some looked like humans, some like animals, some like reptilian-humanoids. Kalan's company had done a great job recruiting all kinds of people. They did not care about their gender or race, the only thing they cared about was their potential, talent, and skills as a chef.

"Mhmm...." Kalan could smell the fragrant food being cooked, steamed, fried and baked. The mouthwatering smell made Kalan drool.

"Shit, how come I never thought of visiting here before?!" Kalan felt like punching himself. This was his own company, yet he never thought of coming here to eat these wonderfully tasty foods.

Kalan, naturally walked forward and ate a plate of each dish. There were no bad dishes, maybe some were bad, but that was only due to the chefs experimenting with a new recipe. All in all, Kalan praised each and every chef he met on the way.

"T-This is really a pizza?!" Kalan couldn't believe just how incredibly tasty this pizza was, he made a 'mental note' for all the dishes he really really liked. Of course, with Kalan's memory, he would never remember everything, he simply had the system record down the food. He would later then get more portions of these which suited his tastes more.

"This is... Heaven!!" Kalan tried various foods, deep fried dishes, Chinese fried-style, Japanese fried-style, Korean fried-style, American fried-style, mixed fried-style... There was no end to the chefs' creativity, luckily, Kalan's stomach was almost endless, he had walked through half the cooking site. After patting his belly, he felt like he could eat another 20-30 dishes.

Noodles, ramen, meat buns, gyoza, onigiri with filling, chicken wings, sushi, hamburgers, seafood, barbequed meat, vegetables, soup. Anything Kalan could think of, they had it. There was only what you could not think of, but they still had it.

Kalan continued eating happily as he walked down the corridor, one of the room had steamed food. Kalan hurriedly walked in, licked his lips and prepared to try the dishes.

"Ah?!" The chef responsible for this room turned around and was shocked upon seeing Kalan. A young woman with radiant eyes, silky black long hair trailing down her back, reaching her waist, slender and petite figure stared expectantly at Kalan.

"Huh...?" Kalan looked confused at the woman, he felt her face was quite familiar, but he could not put a finger on it. And the way she looked at him, was an obvious sign that she knew him.

Hearing that Kalan was here to try the food, the young woman quickly put the freshly steamed food on a plate and served Kalan. It was Dim Sum, there was a myriad of Dim Sum. Kalan saw Xiajiao, Chashaobao, Yujiao, Shao Mai...

...!

Shao Mai...? As if he realised something, Kalan jerked his head and looked at the young woman. Slowly a young girl's face overlapped perfectly with this woman's.

"Shao Mai!" Kalan yelled out.

"A-Ah!" Shao Mai jumped up in surprise, she thought Kalan did not recognize her, but never did she expect him to suddenly shout out her name in this manner.

"Hehehe. I didn't recognize you for a moment. Shao Mai, you sure grew a lot." Kalan smiled and started eating the Dim Sum dishes.

"Hahaha! I knew you were talented, see? They are so tasty!" Kalan spoke with a dumpling still half chewed in his mouth.

Shao Mai blushed deeply, her cheeks dyed red, shaking her head in panic.

An hour later, Kalan walked out of his food company in satisfaction, he had filled his storage space with food storage capsules to the brim. He had even considered wasting Origin Energy to open up some more storage space, in the end he decided against it. Right now, Origin Energy was very expensive for him, he could not waste it on amenities.

A cheerful Kalan walked back to his dojo. Bardock upon seeing Kalan explained the group's training progress.

"Their foundation isn't bad, they are quite talented. But they lack quite a lot of fighting experiences. I suggest bringing them over to Planet Carefree and have them spar with the various fighters there. That will give them a lot of fighting experience." Bardock suggested.

"Oh! Not a bad idea, alright! How about you bring them there? Also, why not bring Yamcha, Tien Shinhan and them? Have Kakarot invite them here." Kalan suggested, he also sent a telepathy message to his clone, telling him to bring Piccolo with him.

Just like them, Piccolo had not had many fights, he had mostly been beaten up by Kalan. But he needed more fighting experience with various people.

Goku quickly flew around and brought his friends with him, he also told Chi Chi about his family and their training plans. Chi Chi excitedly followed after Goku, it seems she was also interested to train on Planet Carefree.

Chi Chi shyly introduced herself and Gohan to Bardock and Gine. After a few awkward moments, they got to know each other better, soon they were talking like old acquaintances. Of course Bardock did not talk much, like usual, he had a stiff and stern look on his face. Gine got along quite well with Chi Chi, they held each others hands and talked about various matters.

"Great, everyone is here." Kalan looked around at the large group. Instructing everyone to touch each other, Kalan held onto Bardock's shoulder and teleported everyone to Planet Carefree.

"Wow! Incredible!" Goku praised, he was amazed by Kalan's teleportation.

"Shit! Kalan! When did you learn such an amazing technique!?" Yamcha and Krillin was amazed as well.

Piccolo's eyes widened in shock, but he did not comment on Kalan's ability.

"Hm... You guys are still too weak to learn it either way. How about this, when you guys get stronger, I'll bring you to the place I learned this technique. Then it'll be up to your own talents to learn Instant Transmission." Kalan suggested. Because of some deviations to the original storyline, Kalan wasn't even sure Goku would be able to reach Planet Yadrat and learn Instant Transmission. Besides, he could simply teleport everyone there. As of now, only Bardock was strong enough to support the teleportation skill. The rest were too weak to even teleport, even if they wanted. Instant Transmission used quite a bit of Ki, but Kalan was so strong, his Ki quantity so large, he never had the trouble except when he had first learned this technique.

Everyone's eyes shone in excitement, even Bardock showed great interest.
