Legendary Super Saiyan Broly

Gine brought Bardock with her and chatted with Kalan, they were interested in how Goku was doing.

"Marriage? Wedding? What kind of rubbish is that? Why make such a big deal of it...?" Kalan had explained the recent events and Goku's marriage, but Gine and Bardock felt all the celebrations were stupid. Gine and Bardock lived together already, but they never announced it for everyone to know.

"Figured Saiyans wouldn't understand." Kalan shook his head.

Bardock felt regretful upon learning Goku married a weak woman, but Gine didn't mind.

Kalan and Bardock had a spar outside Planet Carefree. Kalan was surprised by Bardock's new strength, he had a battle power over 200 Million after transforming into a Super Saiyan. They sparred for awhile and Kalan could tell Bardock had mastered Full Power Super Saiyan.

Kalan's base battle power was 125 Million, so he simply used Kaioken 2x and leisurely sparred with Bardock, which in return amazed him upon seeing Kalan so easily fight him evenly matched without transforming. Kaioken wasn't visible after all, so Bardock didn't know Kalan had used Kaioken.

"Bardock, you've become a lot stronger!" Kalan praised.

"It seems the difference between us have widened even more... You didn't even go all out in your base form." Bardock smiled wryly.

"Bardock, I'll teach you Super Saiyan 2, it's twice as strong as Super Saiyan. You should also try to raise your base battle power even more." Kalan didn't bother explaining the Kaioken and instead decided to teach Bardock Super Saiyan 2, he would need a lot of time on his own to experiment.

"Super Saiyan 2? Surpassing Super Saiyan is Super Saiyan 2? And it's twice as strong... You mean a 100x multiplier?" Bardock was shocked. The Super Saiyan transformation was already amazing enough, the Super Saiyan grade 2 was also great, but to think there was a transformation surpassing Super Saiyan.

Kalan spent some time teaching Bardock how he transformed and also his own experiences in learning it. After finishing his explanations, he exhorted Bardock to spend more time raising his base battle power and left him to his own devices.

Broly was eager to learn the Super Saiyan transformation, there were already a couple of Saiyans that managed to transform into Super Saiyan thanks to Bardock's guidance. Broly had only held back due to his promise with Kalan, now that Kalan came back and promised to teach him the Super Saiyan transformation, he was ecstatic.

Kalan brought Broly to a desolate dwarf planet.

"Your power is a bit different from others, it's more violent and berserk. So you'll need to first be able to control your great ape form, I'll help you out since I had gone through the same trouble you will to transform into a Super Saiyan." Kalan started explaining the Legendary Super Saiyan's traits for Broly.

"So Big Brother and I are both Legendary Super Saiyan?" Broly was happy he wasn't alone and that Kalan was the same as him.

"That's right." Kalan smiled, Broly was much more emotional and just like an ordinary earthling kid.

Kalan brought out a full moon projector and had Broly practice his great ape transformation. He knew from his own experiences that the great ape transformation also had berserk elements invading his mind, but much less as compared to the Legendary Super Saiyan transformation. But the experience of having his mind invaded by the berserkness helped him a lot in mastering his Legendary Super Saiyan transformation, so he intended for Broly to learn it the same way he did.

It took a lot longer than Kalan expected for Broly to master his great ape transformation, he had expected at most 3 months since he mastered it in just 1 month. But he was so wrong, it was only due to his soul being infused in high density of Origin Energy, that he had stronger will and self-control.

It took Broly 4 months to master his great ape transformation, but that was only due to Anya's help. Kalan hadn't spent as much time with Broly as Anya did, so after 3 months training, Kalan remembered that Broly was very sentimental, so he tried having Anya help, which really paid off. After a month, Broly was able to completely control his great ape transformation. Kalan slapped his head in for his stupidity had wasted him an additional 3 months which had given Broly no progress at all when he simply needed 1 month with Anya's help to master his great ape transformation.

Kalan then helped Broly with his Legendary Super Saiyan transformation. While Broly went berserk, Kalan also managed to gain some new insight into the Legendary Super Saiyan transformation and had worked on experimenting on Legendary Super Saiyan 2.

Four years went by as they continued training, whenever Broly went out of control and too berserk, Kalan simply knocked him out. Due to the large difference in battle power, Kalan wasn't worried at all. Broly's battle power had exceeded 4 Billion after transformation, but Kalan simply transformed into Super Saiyan and knocked Broly out. He would also occasionally bring Anya to help call out to Broly. Although Broly did not manage to control his Legendary Super Saiyan transformation, he was able to master the weaker version, which just like Kalan's had a multiplier of 120x.

Kalan had gained many insights into the berserkness of Legendary Super Saiyan transformation, although he had a multiplier of 200x, but the berserkness could pull out much more potential from his body, and if not released, the power will implode and destroy his body. Due to his experiences with the normal Super Saiyan 2 transformation, coupled with watching Broly's Legendary Super Saiyan berserkness, he had finally managed to learn the Legendary Super Saiyan 2 transformation.

The Legendary Super Saiyan 2 transformation was different than Legendary Super Saiyan, his body was not as bulky and closer to the normal Super Saiyan 2 transformation, but still bulkier than that. But his height still increased to almost 2 meters, the same which his Legendary Super Saiyan transformation did, but his shoulders did not double its' width and just increased by dozens of centimeters.

Like Super Saiyan 2, Legendary Super Saiyan 2 also had electric arcs swimming around his body, but many more and much more berserk. Kalan wasn't able to even absorb 10% of the electric arcs due to its berserk nature. Therefor, his Legendary Super Saiyan 2 transformation didn't last as long as his normal Super Saiyan 2, but it was as strong as a normal Super Saiyan 3 nonetheless, and Kalan was satisfied with the current duration.

The Legendary Super Saiyan 2 transformation gave Kalan a 400x multiplier, but he felt this wasn't the true Legendary Super Saiyan 2 transformation, even the system hinted the same.
