110 Angry Bulma

Kalan had almost spent 4 and a half year in space and on Planet Carefree, but he had gained a lot which made it hard for him to stop. He had some ideas about Super Saiyan 3, which required him to dig out every drop of his Saiyan bloodline's potential. When he transformed into a humanoid Saiyan, he had felt such a feeling, as if he had dug out every drop of his potentials. But actually doing it was much harder than he had expected, for now he gave up and intended to wait awhile, or maybe hint Goku about that transformation later on.

Like usual, Kalan checked the amount of Origin Energy he gained after a few years. He was pleasantly surprised that the original 3,100 units of Origin Energy per year had increased to 5,000 units per year!

He now had 28,820 units of Origin Energy, he didn't do anything special and neither had he made the new inhabitants on Planet Carefree worship him. So he believed it had something to do on Earth instead.

"Time to return to Earth. I have a feeling Bulma is mad..." Kalan sighed and teleported.

Although he had told Bulma he would be away and training for awhile, Bulma was still mad when he returned.

"All I ask for is a romantic boyfriend, but all you ever do is martial arts and fighting! When we talk, it's just battles this battles that! Other than that you're just talking about martial arts! Can't you be a bit romantic!?" Bulma yelled angrily at Kalan. If she was looking for a romantic boyfriend, then Kalan certainly wasn't the one. Kalan was a Dragon Ball Fan, he liked battles and coupled with his Saiyan blood, he certainly can't abandon that. To be romantic? Kalan didn't know how, nor did he know what romantic was.

"And why do you need to train so much? You're already the strongest man in the world! Why do you need to spend years training all the time? Each time you train, it takes you years before you come back!!" Bulma was very dissatisfied with Kalan.

"I just want to spend more time with you! But you just have to leave every now and then, we spend a few years together, and then you're gone for a few years!" Bulma continued listing out all her dissatisfactions. Kalan didn't even have any time to reply.

"Oh, you're just gonna stand there doing nothing? Do you even care about me? I'm done! It's over!" Bulma angrily stamped her feet and left. She jumped on her Dark Nimbus and flew back home to West City.

"..." Kalan stared at Bulma's disappearing figure. He did expect Bulma to be angry, but not like this, he was completely dumbfounded. He knew Bulma's temperament was gentler in Dragon Ball timeline, but how would he know that as soon as the Dragon Ball Z storyline approached, her temperament changed just as much. When she stayed up all night fixing Raditz' scouter and saw everyone sleeping, she got so mad she sprayed bullet at Krillin and Master Roshi. She was really unreasonable during Dragon Ball Z.

"Kalan, don't worry. Bulma was just mad just now. She'll cool down soon enough and come back." Yamcha comforted Kalan.

Kalan had stayed with Bulma for three year without leaving after Goku killed King Piccolo, all the way until Goku's wedding, although it was just a clone, but that was a secret. Still, Bulma was mad that Kalan went training for a few years. Once you're training, you can't just stop midway. This wasn't simply doing body exercises, if he was simply doing push ups, he could always take a break and find Bulma. But he had put all his focus on experimenting the Legendary Super Saiyan 2 transformation. These insights and vague results was difficult to grasp, once he stops the experiment he'll have start from scratch again.

Kalan simply shook his head and checked on his dojo. He was amazed at the number of dojo members, even his little town had grown considerably. He learned that the people was amazed he had 'tamed' the Great Demon King Piccolo who had reigned terror 300 years ago and even a few years ago, he had destroyed the Central City with a wave of his hand. Due to these feats, many more people migrated over to Kalan Town raising the population of 10,000 to over 80,000. He had to expand his town even further, and once the population hits over 100,000 he would have his own city!

"No wonder I received so much more Origin Energy now." Kalan smiled. Of course the 80,000 inhabitants weren't the only ones worshiping Kalan, but it wasn't easy for everyone to just move to a new place. So there were many more worshipers outside his town. As usual, he sent a clone to help expand while he leisurely walked around his dojo.

Kalan found Piccolo training alone in the wilderness, after chatting for a bit, he found out Piccolo and Goku had a battle a year ago. Due to Kalan not helping out 'beating up' Piccolo, his training got a lot less effective and he mostly depended on meditation now. As such, Goku managed to almost catch up to Piccolo, the two fought to a draw where both were beaten to within an inch of their lives, Piccolo even had to resort to regeneration to heal his body parts.

"Shit, because of the discrepancies in the story, they actually fought outside the WMA!" Kalan was dumbfounded, he hadn't been on Earth for over 4 years and the two had almost killed each other. Although he knew Goku wasn't actually trying to kill Piccolo, but rather forced to fight with his life on the line.

But luckily, Yajirobe had come to visit and had brought a few senzu beans, once Goku ate one and recovered, he kindly gave another to Piccolo which pissed him off. After recovering, Piccolo had ever since then stayed here in the wastelands and meditated alone.

Kalan had the system scan Piccolo and found his battle power to be over 700, he believed that after removing the weighted turban and mantle, Piccolo's battle power should be over 800.

"Maybe I should let the two of them get their ass handed to Raditz so they get friendly?" Kalan had originally intended to train Piccolo, but after he and Goku had almost killed each other, he decided against it. They might form a friendship just like they did after fighting Raditz. Though Raditz had a battle power of 1,500, and it would be quite difficult for the two of them to lose to Raditz if they fought together, but if it's alone, Piccolo shouldn't be able to beat Raditz.
