"Were they under the influence of magic?"
Dawn looked at the expression of the boys and then at the lady in black robes.
She wouldn't harm them in public after all there was nothing to gain out of it.
Dawn's gaze landed on Caesar who was surprisingly fine and dandy.
Dawn was relieved it seemed the magic wasn't as potent as he thought.
"Everyone follow me," Amelia ordered in her alluring voice and started to walk north of the stage.
Dawn looked at the graceful figure walking in front of him, with her every step he felt a certain emotion rising inside of him which he was familiar with.
In just a few minutes Dawn and others walked out of the crowded stage.
Suddenly Amelia, who was in the front stopped and a spear appeared in her hand.
"Everyone get close to me. We will be teleporting to the academy ground,"
Amelia announced and smashed the spear that was in her hands into the ground.
The ground didn't explode as Dawn expected it to but in reality a bright light covered all of them.
Dawn felt his vision spin, the space around him melted like snow or he himself melted like a block of ice under the heat of the sun.
When Dawn opened his eyes once again he was in a completely white room along with others.
Amelia who was standing in the center of the group announced after taking her robe off from her head, revealing her beautiful face.
The boys and girls around her gasped as they had never seen such a beautiful lady before.
Amelia scanned everyone with her Deep golden eyes, although she wasn't doing anything but it was enough for everyone to focus on her.
"This is one of the laboratories of Dark Wing you will be isolated here for seven days just in case to see if you pose any threat,"
Amelia explained where they were and didn't seem to mind the gazes of everyone in the room.
"There is room for all of you so you can rest or cultivate."
"And don't forget to cooperate with the staff that will come to examine you,"
Amelia warned everyone not to cause trouble.
Dawn and others nodded and didn't ask any questions.
Amelia was satisfied by their response and took her leave.
As soon as she left the magic seemed to have lifted and the room was instantly filled with a cacophony of noises.
"Why do I have to stay in this shitty room?"
"No one told me about this before."
Dawn looked at the cultivators acting like children, now that they were in this what could they do other than to wait?
Dawn glanced at the Ceaser and the girl from Fatty Nick's group, both of them also had distressed looks in their eyes.
Dawn didn't care about them; he started to look for the room that Amelia was talking about to rest or teleport to his tribe.
When Dawn walked roughly two hundred meters a room appeared in front of him.
The entrance of the room automatically opened revealing the plain white room inside with nothing inside other than the interior which was completely white.
"He looks nothing special are you sure he is the summoner," A man with a head full of white hairs commented with a look of disdain on his face.
In front of the man was a screen that displayed the visuals of the lab, where Dawn and others were.
"It doesn't matter if he is a summoner or not, he is a cultivator at the Channel Construction Realm that's all we have to care about."
The brown hair Amelia who was also looking at the screen commented in a cold voice.
"Tch! Whatever you say," the white-haired man said in frustration.
He didn't want to annoy the beautiful lady beside him. The fate of all those who tried to mess with her was still fresh in his mind.
"Tell me if anyone shows any abnormal reaction," Amelia said and fell silent.
"You don't have to worry, none of the faceless demons can escape once they enter inside."
The white-haired man assured her with a serious look on his face.
The laboratory that Dawn and others were in was designed to bring out faceless demons acting as humans and trying to infiltrate the Academy.
However, even with such measures the rate at which the instances of Demons infiltrating the academy was increasing at a rapid rate.
Dawn sat inside the room and breathed deeply unaware of the prying eyes that were focused on him.
He was just about to teleport when Sugar stopped him in the middle of it.
"Stop, I can feel the gaze of other Cultivators," Sugar announced in an annoyed tone.
Hearing her voice Dawn abruptly stopped and slapped his face.
"How could he be so stupid," Dawn muttered in a low voice.
Amelia before leaving had clearly told them that they would be monitored and now he was going to reveal then his ability to teleport.
Although he didn't like Sugar, Dawn was still grateful for her remainder.
With nothing else to do Dawn decided to cultivate.
The mana flowed through his channels at incredible speed easily hitting 450 circulations per minute.
You have to keep in mind at this time Dawn wasn't using any cultivation technique to assist him; this was just the raw power of his Origin heart.
Dawn started to use voidwalkers flow and cultivate and the speed at which his mana circulated instantly increased by a hundred reaching 550 circulations per minute.
Time continued to pass and in the blink of an eye, two days passed when Dawn heard a knock on his door.
"Please come out for the inspection."
Dawn heard the voice of a man calling him out.
"Coming, please wait a minute."
Dawn got up from his standing position with a surprised expression on his face.
He had been sitting in this position for 2 days and didn't feel sore or anything else. If he was before he would have surely fallen to the ground because of stiifed legs.
