Battle Trial

A week went by where we had just regular classes, nothing particularly special and most of what we were taught I had already known

I had become 'friends' with some during this week though it was mostly just them talking to me and then just saying we were friends. Hah, like I'd actually be friends with them, whats the point when we'll be enemies anyway?

Though to call them enemies would be giving them too much, they aren't strong enough and won't be enough to even be treated like enemies in my eyes

Internally I sighed as the door suddenly opened and the next plot point starts

"I AM… COMING THROUGH THE DOOR LIKE A NORMAL PERSON!"

While everyone fanboyed over him I cringed at his entrance. 'Seriously, yeah definitely normal, bending against your knee while going through a door'

"Now for today's class I need you all to.. Get into your outfits and come with me!"

He clicked a button as suitcases popped out from.. somewhere, anime logic or something, obviously our hero costumes so everyone grabbed their own and left to the changing rooms before All Might stopped me though

"Young Andrew I had noticed you never submitted a design, do you have your own?"

"I found it better to just not have a hero outfit, it never bothered me since my quirk is perfectly fine in my usual clothes"

"Still I-"

"Don't sweat it All Might, I know how to take care of myself, if I get hurt then hey, you get a 'I told you so moment' as a teacher"

"Some say that the outfit makes the hero and I can agree with that!"

As the class walked out everyone got a good look at everyone else's outfits, some practical like Bakugo's sweat storing gauntlets while others are off like Todoroki's.. whatever he has

Then you had me who just changed into the clothes I use outside of UA, simple jeans and black shirt with white stripes

"Yo Accelerator where's your hero outfit?" That was Kirishima, friendly guy but it wouldn't matter to me later

"Don't need one, All Might already knows anyway so its fine"

After a brief explanation of what we were gonna do we all drew lots to pick our teams and I got a team with Momo

"Lets work well together Accelerator"

"Likewise"

The first fight was the same as canon thats being Ochako and Deku vs Bakugo and Lida with the main highlight being Izuku's punch to the ceiling that destroyed most if not all of the building, honorable mention being Bakugo's unrivaled bloodlust towards the poor guy

"Next teams up will be team F vs team G!"

"Accelerator looks like we're up"

"Yeah seems like it"

Making our way to the building, our opponents were Sero and Todoroki

We were the villains in this situation so after getting set up, All Might started the trial as they came in the building

"Accelerator what should our plan be? Since Todoroki can freeze maybe we shoul-"

Stopping, I jumped slightly and before Momo could react she was suddenly frozen along with the entirety of the building, I looked at her frozen self before sighing and went to the stairs

"Todoroki you sure this was necessary?"

As the two walked Sero questioned if Shoto needed to go so overboard

"Its fine, after we win I'll unfreeze the two before their temperature drops too much"

They walked up to the second floor but when they got there they saw Accelerator in the middle, his hands in his pockets seemingly unaffected by the ice encasing the building

"Gotta hand it to you, freezing the entire building, not something someone would expect but here I am, completely fine, unlike my partner"

Todoroki was surprised but quickly hid the expression "How did you escape my ice?"

"Instincts do wonders for people, also you shouldn't make it so obvious. If you want to have someone sneak around then you should seem somewhat believable!"

Accelerator slammed his foot on the ground and off to the side, Sero was encased by rock pillars that came out from the floor and from the sides, he tried to use his tape to escape but he was too slow and was encased and had to accept his defeat

"Now 'Hero' whats your move?"

He didn't say anything but instead swung his arm up as ice shot towards Accelerator, he dodged as Todoroki repeated his action, with each jump Accelerator made, Todoroki shot more ice out trying to encase him

'How can he dodge so well?! The ice should hinder his movements!'

'God this is easy'

You'd think the son of the number 2 hero would be somewhat better in battle but no, he's just repeating the same movement over and over

"And there it is" His movements were even more sluggish then a few seconds ago, his excessive use of ice started to freeze his own body to this point

"This wasn't as much of a challenge I had thought it would be but know this, you sufficed in being somewhat of an annoyance"

Shooting towards him, my palm met his face as he was too sluggish to defend, grabbing his face I slammed him down onto the ground, his energy already used as he lost consciousness almost immediately

"Well thats it.. wait shit! All Might we need this place unfrozen!"

'God faking care is hard, fucking hate it'

In just a few seconds a couple robots came in and took everyone out as I went back to the observation room where everyone was waiting

"Dude that was great! You were so quick!" Kirishima was excited, though too excited in my opinion

"That was great and all but why didn't you save Momo? You dodged it but you didn't help her out of it" Mina wasn't angry at me, more like fake annoyance with a pout and all, in the anime, it's cute, now. Its still cute but it doesn't affect me

"I can control the natural elements but to heat the ice enough to free her would have taken too long, while we are classmates, if we were actually villains we wouldn't have cared for each other

My instincts were enough for me to barely dodge but I couldn't take too much time and I knew she wouldn't have been in true danger since Todoroki wouldn't have done it too bad and All Might could end the trial whenever if anything bad really happened"

She accepted my answer though she still pouted, which again has no meaning to me

Quickly Momo had come in with a blanket around her and a visible shiver but otherwise fine, she looked at me but wasn't angry surprisingly

"I'm sorry I was so useless Accelerator, I will understand what I did wrong so I can fix it next time"

…

She's too nice, and I swear I just saw literal sparkles beside her.. what fucking anime logic..

The rest of the fights went how I expected it to though only one other was shown in canon so the rest were based off who was stronger or obviously smarter than the other

After the trials ended the day also ended so I quickly got out first before feeling a buzz in my pocket

[We're doing this tomorrow, get the plans during your lunch, a distraction will be made outside during that time]

Guess its time then
