Chapter 57 - Announcement

Seeing Hiruzen like a child in front of Tobirama and Hashirama and Jiraiya fanboying, Naruto asked "How long can you stay here?"

Tobirama turned his gaze to Naruto and replied "I'm the creator of the jutsu, it has no time limits. We will only go away if the caster undo the jutsu."

Naruto nodded and replied as he clapped his hands "I see! Then you're about to witness a scene that will make Konoha a better place!"

Jiraiya asked in confusion "What do you mean? Naruto?"

Hiruzen also nodded in curiosity

With a smile on his face he continued, "I have an announcement to make."

Hashirama, Tobirama, Hiruzen, and Jiraiya all looked at Naruto in curiosity as to what he was going to announce for him to have a smile like that. Although it seemed gentle it was more… bloodthirsty…

With a determined tone, he said "I will eliminate root today."

"What? Are you serious? Naruto?!" Hiruzen couldn't calm down hearing Naruto's announcement, meanwhile Jiraiya had a solemn look on his face.

Hashirama and Tobirama looked in confusion and turned to Hiruzen. Hashirama asked "What's root? Saru?"

Hiruzen breathed a sigh and explained "The root is the shadow of Konoha that handles all the dirty work for the village. Shimura Danzo is the head of that organization."

Tobirama nodded in understanding as he turned to Naruto "But shouldn't such an organization benefit Konoha, why would you do that? Naruto?"

Naruto explained "Yes, it should but not when the head of it is interested in the position of Hokage. With him being like that, it's more detrimental for Konoha. Starting wars here and there, Eliminating the Uchiha Clan using the older brother of my friend, Sasuke. the Senju Clan with only the granddaughter of Senju Hashirama surviving, what's next? The Hyuga Clan? Plus… During such a crisis not even one of them arrived at the scene to help as my clone observed the situation. Now that I'm here, I will eliminate him for me to be able to live a peaceful life, I will not allow a snake that will possibly bite me to live within my house. I don't even know why Jiichan let such a snake be allowed in this village, Orochimaru is better in my opinion."

Hiruzen asked in shock "How do you know all that? That's classified information!"

Hashirama also expressed his concern "The Uchiha, and the Senju Clan has been eliminated?! With only 1 or 2 survivors?!"

Naruto nodded and replied to Hiruzen's question "The moment you told me about root, I investigated everything and I know everything to the last detail, No one will be able to catch me with all my jutsu. Plus… no one is currently stronger than me, especially with Kurama behind my back now."

Jiraiya nodded, as he noticed Kurama might be the name of the nine tailed fox, with him helping Naruto. Eliminating Danzo will be easy.

Hiruzen simply sighed as he could no longer do anything, if that's what Naruto wanted but he said "Leave the root behind, and only deal with Danzo if possible, the root is a major power of Konoha."

Naruto nodded as Naruto's clone appeared using [Flying Thunder God Jutsu] while carrying Gaara. Naruto's clone explained "This is Gaara, you know he's the vessel for the one tailed fox, I reinforced his seal. You can use him for a deal with the Sunagakure."

Hiruzen nodded.

Jiraiya could only watch, he knew the amount of crime Danzo had stacked up. He wouldn't stop Naruto.

Naruto and his clone disappeared from the spot and Tobirama questioned Hiruzen "Saru! Explain right now!"

Hashirama could feel Tobirama's rage from the elimination of the Senju clan, he could do nothing but watch too just like Jiraiya.

Hiruzen sighed and explained "When the root was established, I supported it to grow enough to rival the anbu but it backfired… I thought it was another source of anbu but it's not… every anbu in that organization is sealed only being able to follow Danzo's order… You know me sensei… I wouldn't do that to Konoha. Why would I destroy two of the clans that hold power in Konoha? Wouldn't that weaken the village?"

Tobirama could only let out a sigh of disappointment, before continuing "You're blessed that you have a kid such as Naruto to take care of troublesome things in the village. You're already old enough to be considered sticks and bones. Pass the hokage position and retire. It's time for the 4th hokage."

Hiruzen embarrassedly replied "I already passed it once… to the father of that kid, the 4th hokage, Namikaze Minato but he sacrificed his life when the nine tailed fox's seal was undid."

"What? You let the 4th hokage took such a risk? Should you have sacrificed your life instead?!" Tobirama got even more angry as he saw the face of the 4th hokage in the stone faces.

Hiruzen could only look down and say with a pale face "I know, I'm deeply embarrassed by the fact that the younger generations are taking care of my mess…"

Tobirama could only sigh and wave his hand "Alright, you're already old enough, retire and pass the hokage title."

Hiruzen nodded "Yes, that's what I plan to do, my only candidates right now are Jiraiya, Tsunade, and Naruto but… Naruto doesn't want the Hokage title, he said he merely wished to be the strongest, and live a peaceful life, he doesn't want a troublesome position such as the 'hokage.' Jiraiya's face twitched at the insult but not really as it's not really an insult but he scratched the back of his head in embarrassment as he was in the presence of the first and second hokage.

Tobirama facepalmed "Naruto is worthy of the hokage position and all but he's too young, and you're two disciples… one is a pervert and a a gambler… How can you have such people as candidates?"

Hashirama laughed "Hahaha! Tsuna has inherited my gambling habits, sorry about that!"

Tobirama scolded "It's no laughing matter! Anija! In the first place, you shouldn't be gambling as the shodai hokage! Blah Blah Blah blah!"

Lazy Author-sama got too lazy but Tobirama was scolding Hashirama while he's sulking on the ground. You can imagine it yourself.

Root hideout…

"Finally, I can finally become hokage now that Hiruzen's reputation is down the drain with the recent attack in Konoha. I'm gonna be the hokage!" Danzo's eyes flashed with a dangerous light.

"Are you sure about that?" Naruto appeared from behind him grabbed him by the shoulder

[Seal!]

Then kicked him in the chest to the wall.

Boom!

"Shimura Danzo… Normally, I'd let Sasuke deal with you for ordering the destruction of the Uchiha Clan but that's not possible, I'm gonna eliminate you right now." Naruto said coldly with a nonchalantly expression.

Danzo, who was stuck in the wall from the kick, coughed out blood "Cough! Cough! Did Hiruzen send you?!"

Naruto wore a mocking smile on his face, "Why does that even matter? You're about to die anyway."

Danzo immediately tried to use Izanagi to heal his broken chest but he couldn't "H-How is this possible! I can't use chakra!"

(A/N: With Izanagi, the user applies an illusion to reality itself, giving the user control over what is and is not real for as long as Izanagi is active. Meaning they could probably turn back time, I don't know if that's the logic behind it, but it's like that when I saw the fight between Sasuke and Danzo. My dear readers… please correct me… hehe~)

Naruto replied as he walked slowly in the direction of Danzo, and Adamantine Sealing Chains behind his back that wrapped itself around Danzo, "Of course, you can't, I sealed your chakra when I touched you just now. Were you hoping to use all that sharingan in your right eye? I'm quite cautious you see? I'm not the strongest yet, so I took all necessary precautions so you won't be able to fight back even a bit."

Danzo tried to struggle out of the chains and helplessly said "Adamantine Sealing Chains…"

Naruto laughed out loud "Hahaha! With old age really comes knowledge but… you let your knowledge bury your wisdom. You should have known better that if you actually helped out Jiichan, he would have made out a candidate for the next hokage instead of going against him. In other words, you've trapped yourself of not being able to become hokage."

The [Adamantine Sealing Chains] tightened by the second as Danzo said nervously as he saw no hope of escaping besides begging "Wait! Let me survive! I'll give you the control for the root!"

Naruto tightened the chains even more "I'm sorry but… I don't need it."

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!"

In an instant, Danzo's body was cut into pieces using the chains that caused it to be filled with blood like french fries dipped into ketchup.

(A/N: That analogy at the end would cause someone to not eat fries and ketchup for a while lol but... Did I just kill Danzo too easily?)
