Chapter 54 - Chuunin Finals Exam Discontinued

The Hyuga Clan and Inuzuka Clan glanced at each other in surprise as they saw Naruto's combination attack and his prowess. He is above the level of even a chuunin!

Plus… that combination of taijutsu art… it caught both their attention, they never knew that they could use it like that… or simply weren't creative enough to do it. It even had chakra nature!

Sucks to be them but Naruto was probably the only one who could do that, the reason is simple! It's because wind's natural energy was mixed in with his normal chakra making it look like it had a wind chakra nature attribute.

"As expected of the fourth hokage's son! Such a genius!"

"Right? I feel so bad we've wronged the child of the fourth hokage, I'll apologize about my attitude when I encounter him."

"I'll do it too!"

"Kyahhh! Naruto-sama has always been cool but I never knew he was the fourth hokage's son! He's become even more tempting to make my husband!"

"Dream on! Naruto-sama wouldn't like a fugly like you!"

"What'd you say?!"

Cheers filled the arena making Naruto smile so he waved his hands in reply. They were a bit hypocritical but that's how humans were. It's also better to be in the limelight of attention in a good light instead of a bad light, it's easier to live a peaceful life.

While observing, he saw Rock Lee so he threw his specialized kunai and teleported "Yo! Lee."

Rock Lee had a difficult to describe expression, feeling inferior after his defeat with Gaara so he replied "Y-Yo… Naruto-kun…"

Naruto chuckled and replied "Call me Naruto, a guy calling me Naruto-kun feels weird. Did you see that? It was awesome."

With a pale expression and a dry laugh he replied "Y-Yeah… you were awesome… as expected of a person who's talented…"

"Hm?" Naruto frowned as he looked at Rock Lee's inferiority and patted him on the shoulder "Everyone is talented in their own way. And what you saw wasn't my talent, it was the result of my hard work. If I didn't work hard for it, do you think I would be able to do something like that? Don't be discouraged by Neji's obsession with fate, it has nothing to do with that, it only has something to do with your mindset."

"Naruto-kun… no… Naruto! I'll catch up with you! I'll work 10 times harder! No! 100 times harder!" Rock Lee eyes lightened up at Naruto's encouragement. He was simpleton.

Naruto simply smiled and replied "Sure, but you won't be able to catch up with me even if you try 100 times harder, I'll work even harder than that. I don't want to prove anything, I simply want to be the strongest!"

"Yosh!!! I'll be trailing right behind you! Just wait! I'll prove you wrong!" Rock Lee enthusiastically replied.

Guy who was watching on the sides began to tear up and thought 'That's it, Lee… Continue on your path… don't get distracted by the progress of others.'

Naruto in confusion asked "Why are you feeling inferior anyway? Although you only have taijutsu, you're already stronger than most chuunins. Be proud, and recuperate peacefully before training. Training is important but rest is important as well."

"Alright, I'll listen to you. After I heal I'm gonna challenge you again and again till I beat you!"

"Well… Good luck." Naruto replied as he walked to the side of Maito Gai "So? Chances of recovery?"

Gai's face paled as he replied with a tone of uncertainty "Less than 10%..."

Naruto asked with a smile as he looked in the direction of Hiruzen and the chakra beside him… Orochimaru! "What about if one of the legendary sannin, Senju Tsunade was here?"

"T-That!" Gai was a bit surprised but then happy "I'm not sure but Tsunade-sama is hailed as the greatest medical nin the chances are high!"

Naruto chuckled and said "Well… evacuate people slowly without anyone noticing, there will be a war soon."

Gai's face was shocked but he was jounin so he nodded. He knew Naruto wouldn't joke about this.

Naruto instantly disappeared from the spot as he located the seal in Jiraiya and teleported there.

In a bath house somewhere

"Ahehehehe!" Jiraiya pervertedly said as he peeked at women in the bath house. But he suddenly heard Naruto's voice saying in disgust "Uwah… You said you're not a perverted sage but you're acting like it?"

"Whh" Jiraiya reacted in fright but then realized it's Naruto so he sighed in relief then asked "What are you doing here? Naruto?"

"I need help, Orochimaru is probably planning something with the Sand Village. He's transformed as the Kazekage."

"Hm? Have you told sandaime yet?" Jiraiya asked in concern and in vigilance.

Naruto shook his head and replied "Not yet, I'm here to take you, Kakashi, and Sasuke with me. They're pretty strong right now. I also sense the seal of the one-tailed beast, it's on the verge of breaking."

"I see… how do you plan on dealing with it?"

"I can use Adamantine Sealing Chains."

"You can use that…? Oh right, you're Kushina's son. Alright. Let's go."

"Hold onto my shoulder."

As Jiraiya held on to Naruto's shoulder. He teleported to Kakashi and Sasuke who were still preparing after training.

After telling them the situation, they both prepared but Sasuke said "Let me fight, Gaara."

"You…?" Naruto thought for a bit but then said "Sure, but when the one-tailed beast seal breaks I'm gonna interfere."

"What?"

Kakashi interrupted before Sasuke could reply "Let Naruto do it. A tailed beast is comparable to a legendary summon. It's as big as a village and possesses destructive abilities that can destroy parts of the village. Naruto specializes in fuinjutsu."

Sasuke could say nothing more but be frustrated so he nodded "Alright, but you definitely can't interfere until then."

Naruto chuckled and replied "Sure but make sure to defeat him."

Sasuke snorted and replied "You don't have to tell me, I'm planning on doing that."

Naruto nodded "Alright, Perverted Sage, enter sage mode now."

Jiraiya nodded and sat down immediately.

5 minutes later…

"Let's go." Jiraiya said as he possessed the marking of the sage in his eyes.

Naruto asked in surprise "You perfected sage mode?"

Jiraiya felt proud and said "Tsk, tsk, tsk. I can't let my grand disciple be stronger than me, of course I did."

Naruto nodded and told them to put their hands on their shoulders when they did. They directly appeared on the side of Hiruzen.

"Hm? Jiraiya? What's going on?" Hiruzen frowned and asked

Jiraiya didn't reply and headed in the direction of the Kazekage "Orochimaru!" with a flying kick.

Orochimaru frowned but then saw Naruto chuckling on the side "What a troublesome brat, he sensed me in this transformation?" He jumped backwards to dodge as Jiraiya's kick destroyed the floor on the arena's side where Orochimaru was originally sitting.

Orochimaru threw away his kazekage wear and called out "Prepare Four Violet Flames Formation!"

4 ninjas immediately appeared on the side of Orochimaru and nodded "Understood."

Hiruzen screamed in his seat "The Chuunin Exams are cancelled! Evacuate the citizens! Jiraiya and I will handle Orochimaru!"

The jounins received the order and executed it as soon as they heard it.

Naruto teleported to the side of Sakura and asked "How many barrier scrolls do you have?"

"Naruto? I have 20. What's going on?" Sakura asked while she handed the scroll, she didn't know what was going on but she knew it was urgent so she handed it over immediately.

Naruto nodded and replied "It's war. Keep the 10. To protect yourself and protect citizens you come across and evacuate with them."

Sakura nodded and executed the order, she understood the urgency of the situation as soon as the term "war" was mentioned.

[Shadow Clones Jutsu!]

Naruto created 10 genin clones and handed them the scrolls each and spread it out in the surrounding.

[Release!]

The clones simultaneously activated the seals to defend the audience and support the evacuation.

While the arena was in uproar, Sasuke was in front of Gaara.

Sasuke didn't hesitate and kicked Gaara in the face

Thud! His auto sand defense activated as he said in a bloodthirsty tone "My mother wants your blood! Killing you will prove my existence!"

Sasuke jumped back to remove himself from a disadvantaged position and backflipped further for his jutsu.

[Chidori!]

With his sharingan activated, and chidori in his arm. He rushed in the direction of Gaara "Raaaaaaaa!"

Gaara defended with his sand but was penetrated by the lightning jutsu. Causing him to be injured in the arm.

"Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Gaara screamed in anger and in pain as his eyes turned bloodshot. The sand gathered in his wound.

"I'm gonna kill you!!!!!!!" Gaara said as half of his body began to morph into the form of a tailed beast.

(A/N: um… I wrote this in 30 minutes. Is it bad? I'm gonna rewrite if you think it is since it's so fast paced. If you like the pace I might be able to write about 2-3 chapters a day... I think.)
