39 Refresher Course 1

Listening to the imprint left the Junior brother Phoenix in tears. It was said that the true tears of a phoenix was one of the most rarest treasures in the Great World. The Phoenix was the only Demonic bird race beast that was cladded in Spiritual flames. Any kind of water element would not be able to put out the bodily flames as the fire was fuelled directly from the Phoenix's spiritual soul. Only the tears produced by the Phoenix was able to withstand the flame element.

Till this day, the Phoenix had only cried a total of three times. The first time was when he was still a Flame Beaked Fowl Fledgling. It was on the day his mother had died. The second time was when his group of Origin Beast brothers had parted ways during their internal conflicts. The third time was after hearing the news on the death of his senior brother Dragon.

Looking at the kid that Drago Firestorm had entrusted him with, he started to gather his thoughts again. The only thing that his Senior Brother left him was this boy in front of him. He must definitely aid this interesting boy on his route of cultivation.

Wang Li Tian grimaced as he opened his eyes slowly. He had been knocked down by Elder White's sudden outburst. As a result, his body had been shaken and he had a splitting headache. Soon enough, Li TIan realised something. He was surrounded by a circle of flames. He jerked in surprise, thinking that the flames would burn him. Yet, he gradually found out that the fire was not hot at all. In fact, when he touched it, the flame would move around Li Tian's fingers playfully.

"You've awoken, young one." Following the voice, Wang Li Tian looked behind him. He was given the shock of his life. Just like how Drago Firestorm loomed above him, the Four Feathered Phoenix stood proud and tall. Its wings were tucked in by the sides as flame fragments drifted off in the air.

"Ph..Ph..Phoenix!!" Wang Li Tian exclaimed in surprise. He wasn't scared or intimidated by the Phoenix's Divine aura. Unless the Phoenix released his aura, the current Li Tian would not even bat an eye. After all, even when he first met Mr. Dragon, his normal divine aura could not harm Li Tian.

"Hahaha!" The Phoenix chortled seeing the surprised youth.

"Eh? Where did the Elder go?" Li Tian looked around for the Elder in white who was talking to him before.

"I'm here, young one." With a thought, the bright glow emerged from the phoenix before he morphed back into his human form. The red fiery beast had transformed back into his clean white robes.

"You're.. You're the Elder?" Li Tian was tongue-tied.

"Yes, young one." The Phoenix smiled mildly.

"You are able to transform into a human!" Wang Li Tian mouth gaped widely as he was surprised by the sight in front of him.

"Any Grade five and above Demonic Beast is able to morph into the human body." The Phoenix explained. He continued, "Just like how there is a total of six cultivation stages for human cultivators, there is also six grades of Demonic Beasts."

"Oh master and Mr. Dragon talked about this before!" Li Tian recalled.

"Then do you remember what are the six stages?"

"No, not really." The phoenix remained patient inwardly. He went ahead and explain to Li Tian.

"I shall give you a refresher course then. Here." With a flip of his hand, the elder produced an ink set and paper for the young cultivator. "Write it down."

"Okay." The little boy was slightly reluctant to do so, but he still agreed to it.

"The first four stages is most commonly present in the Divided Continent. They are namely, the Spiritual Cleansing Stage, the Body Enhancement Stage, the Core Establishment Stage and lastly, the Soul Emergence Stage. Next.."

"Wait!" Li Tian had a grim look on his face as he interrupted the explanation from the Elder. "How do you spell 'emergence'?"

"…" Senior brother Dragon was right. This boy isn't actually smart. The Phoenix commented in his heart. Following which, he leaned forward and helped Li Tian to write it down.

"The people in the Divided Continent normally do not know about the other continent in the Great World. The Martial continent must've been introduced to you by my senior brother, correct?" Wang Li Tian nodded. That was where his master came from.

"Those in the Martial Continent are way stronger than those in the Divided Continent. Do you know why?" Li Tian shook his head cluelessly.

"The reason for that is because of the amount of Spiritual Energy available in each continent. I'm sure you know that you use Spiritual Energy to cultivate your body and spiritual root. This spiritual energy is derived from the breach in the World's core. The Martial continent is closer to this breach, thus they have a larger reserve of Spiritual Energy than those in the Divided Continent." Li Tian smacked his hand together in realisation.

"Ah! Master and Mr. Dragon spoke about this to me before!" The elder was floored by the boy's realisation.

"Write it down now!" He did not know why these two individuals did not ask this boy to write out this information.

"I… How do you spell 'breach'? Also where is the World's core?"

"…" So that was why.
