14 Li Tian Takes Action 2

Wang Li Tian strutted his way to the other platforms, his emotions were racing on the inside. Had Jiang Rou Xuan seen his fight from before? Was she curious of who he was? Especially when Li Tian was walking by the fourth place platform, he purposely walked a little slower, tilting his chin upwards to reveal a bit more of his face. The pieces were falling together for Rou Xuan, but with the sudden increase in Li Tian's walking pace, she was once again in doubt of who that mysterious boy was.

It can't be right? He's dead from four years ago. How can Wang Li Tian appear in front of me again? That was the thought that ran through Rou Xuan's mind. Four years had passed from the incident and she still could not forget about the cheerful and innocent younger brother that she had. The times they played together was something that Rou Xuan always cherished, both when she was eight and even now.

Back when the Jiang family head found out that their youngest daughter had an extremely rare pure Yin body, all the family's training finances for their future generations were poured into Rou Xuan. Even her older brothers had to give her greater respect, for what she had far outweighed anything they possessed.

One thing that troubled her since young was her deteriorating health. Having a pure Yin body did mean having a godly affinity for cultivation. However, in exchange for that affinity, any person that possesses a pure Yin body would have bad health. Many nights there would be a chill —colder than permafrosts— that ran through Rou Xuan's body. The pain would keep her up all night and as told in folk lore, it would only get worse as Rou Xuan grows older.

When Rou Xuan first met Li Tian, it was when her whole world had brighten up again. He wasn't discriminatory of people and would not betray others for petty gains. Li Tian helped her with her growing pains. He had helped her forget. The day that Li Tian disappeared with his parents and did not come back from the trip, Rou Xuan was devastated. She cried in bed for many nights and it was only after a week of her parent's convincing, did she finally go to school.

After she had went back to school, Rou Xuan's entire persona had changed. She wasn't as approachable any more. Even when someone asked her a question, she would answered back with a yes or no. Sometimes, she would not even answer back. To make things worse, Rou Xuan's condition started to get worse in proportion to her frosty and cold emotions. One night, she had basically become a frozen dead body. When her parents came into the room, they were scared nearly to their deaths. Without hesitation, they immediately sent out people to other cities to scour for the best physicians.

On the night that the Jiang family dispersed out their subordinates to look for help, a lady dressed in white —looking all ethereal under the full moon—had passed over the Jiang Family's rooftop. The lady's name was Yue Xin Lang and she had felt the frosty aura from Rou Xuan's Yin body.

"This aura.. Why is it so familiar?" Landing down on the ground gracefully, she swung open the doors of the little girl's room. She looked towards the bed to find that the young girl's body was palish blue. Yue Xin Lang furrowed her eyebrows, realising the issue instantly.

Obviously when Rou Xuan's parents realised there was an intruder, they were about to retaliate.

"Hey! Get away from my daughter!" Rou Xuan's father, Jiang Rou Han shouted out in desperation. Even though Jiang Rou Han was in the Core Establishment stage, he could not even peer into the cultivation of the lady in white. He knew for sure that he would not be able to even survive one strike from her.

Seeing that the little girl's father had thought that she was hostile, Yue Xin Lang shook her head as she explained the situation seriously.

"I mean no harm to your daughter. In fact, I actually have a cure for her. That is if you are willing to accept two conditions of mine.."

"Of course, your excellency! I'm willing to accept anything, in exchange for my daughter's health!" Jiang Rou Han immediately agreed. To him, his precious daughter was worth even his own life. Knowing that the father of the little girl was serious, Yue Xin Lang started to state her terms.

"First, when I have finished curing your daughter, she will have to accept me as her master."

"Yes yes! I would be more than willing to let her be your disciple!"

"Second, your daughter would have to follow under my private tutorship. That would mean that you would not be able to see her for an extended period of time."

"I.." Jiang Rou Han hesitated. He Looked back at his wife, Jiang He Lan to see if she accepts the condition. He Lan gripped her husband's hand tightly as she nodded resolutely. It was indeed the best choice to let go of their daughter. Even if they do not know what Rou Xuan would have to go through with her new master, it was worth a shot.

"I accept." Jiang Rou Han agreed to it.

"Good." Reaching into her space bracelet, Yue Xin Lang pulled out a Sapphire necklace which she placed it on around Rou Xuan's neck. Almost instantly, the pure Yin aura had been absorbed by the Sapphire necklace and her body temperature had went back to normal. "The necklace was not to be taken off your daughter. I shall come back to bring her with me seven days from now."

As promised, the Jiang family had handed their daughter over to the lady in white. When Rou Xuan heard that she was to depart for her newly found master, she had no opinion on it whatsoever. When Wang Li Tian had left, her life was already back to square one. To her own surprise, after four years, Jiang Rou Xuan had changed for the better thanks to her kind, but stern master. However, in her heart, the place that she held for her little brother had not change one bit.
