86 Inheritance 2

In the Observation Room, Prime Elder Long Tang Yun was panicking. The other prime elders in the room had gathered around his vision crystal to find out what was going on.

"My direct disciple, Wang Li Tian. He is untraceable in the World Artefact." There was an extremely grim expression on Long Tang Yun's face. His heart lurched, thinking back to the time that his other direct disciple was killed in action.

"Are you sure? There is no need to panic. Let me check." Liu Fei Ge, the outer court headmaster went forward to calm Long Tang Yun down.

Every five years, the administrative disciples and them would set up a wide observation array in the world dimension before the competition. The battles within the world artefact would be able to be seen by the elders thanks to this.

As Liu Fei Ge went through the observation array, he realised there was truly no trace of Wang Li Tian. Rather, even the crystal given to the thirteen year old was untraceable. He didn't know what to say, but he needed to give an answer, "Wang Li Tian has managed to disappear from the Observation array's surveillance. The crystal that was on his is untraceable too at the moment."

"Damn it!" Long Tang Yun's had a really ugly expression on his face now. The only prime elder that seemed glad that the artificing elder was suffering was prime elder Ge Fei Xing. He smirked and laughed inwardly. The joy he felt when Long Tang Yun lost his precious disciple was basically the same as now.

"Liu Fei Ge, could you organise a team to go into the world artefact and look for Wang Li Tian." Prime Elder Long Tang Yun suggested.

"Impossible! How could you think of doing such a thing during a competition? Wang Li Tian has not gotten out of the World Artefact, which probably means that he is fine." Ge Fei Xing disturbed Long Tang Yun.

"Ge Fei Xing, you…" Long Tang Yun barely managed to contain himself. He looked back at Liu Fei Ge and proposed, "If we managed to find Wang Li Tian in the competition, disqualify him. Is that okay now?"

"Alright, alright. I will go and set up a team to go look for Wang Li Tian in the world artefact." Liu Fei Ge relented.

"I want to go inside too." Long Tang Yun said.

"Okay."

By the next day, a Wang Li Tian search team was organised and departed into the World Artefact.

Inside the World Artefact, Wang Li Tian and Yuan had already come to an agreement. From the beginning, Wang Li Tian had already planned to help unite the demonic beast and human race. Now, Yuan was added to the equation.

"I shall bestow upon you the Four Elements of Nature. It would be up to you on whether you can fully merge with them." The primogenitor statue glow as he spoke.

"How do I merge with the four elements?" Wang Li Tian did not know what he should do.

"I will impart it to you."

"But, I am very slow at learning."

"It is very easy." The primogenitor started to guide the youth. "In my World Artefact, lies the four elements that created the land. All you have to do is to share a bit of your spiritual energy with the elements. The rest will be understood by you once you start."

"Okay."

"Now, go down these steps behind me." After he said that, a stairway was revealed behind the statue. "The elements are located down there. When you are finished with the merge, this World Artefact shall collapse in its entirety. You would be transported out then."

"Okay. Will the other disciples that came in here with me be fine?" Wang Li Tian thought about everyone else.

"Yes. When the time comes, the portal would automatically force everyone out." Yuan assured the youth.

With that, Wang Li Tian headed down the steps. The stairway was lighted up with the glow stones, making the way down slightly eerie. Eventually, there was a large basement that had a thin pedestal in the middle. On the pedestal was four orbs that were of different colour. Red was fire, green was earth, blue was water and white was air.

Wang Li Tian walked closer to it and as Yuan had instructed him, he stuck his hand out, reaching for one of the elemental orbs. The first one he had went for was the fire orb. There were light sparks of fire flickering as he got closer. One of the sparks touched Wang Li Tian's spiritual energy infused hand. As a result, the flame orb was immediately absorbed into the boy's body.

The hot pulsing flame coursed through his body. It seemed to be attacking every part of his body. The action was very similar to the Moon Energy from before. The youth knew what he had to do. Regulating his braveheart aura, he started to protect every major organ in his body. The hand signs that were deeply engraved in Wang Li Tian's head was being put to use. The flame element was in the midst of being tamed by the thirteen year old.

Every time the fire pulsed in his body, Wang Li Tian would pull in the rein. He was acting in accordance to the element's tempo. The boy may not be good at memorising and comprehending information. Yet, when it came to spiritual energy control and mental will, Wang Li Tian could be considered a genius at his age.

As the fire element was in its raw form, Li Tian had to be patient and take his time to tame the element. Time waited for no one and eventually, the competition had last for two months. The group that was looking for Wang Li Tian bared no results. Long Tang Yun's heart lurched as each day went by. Where had his disciple disappear to?
