85 Inheritance 1

The destruction of the cities by Drago Firestorm a thousand years ago was deemed as the Period of Fire and Chaos. The Origin beast's fire was infused with pure spiritual energy, making it inextinguishable using normal means. Humans and their homes were burnt and destroyed. People lost their families. All because of Drago Firestorm rampage. He had lost control after seeing that his sworn brother had gotten injured.

As a result, a very powerful cultivator had rescued the human race and trapped Drago Firestorm in a mountain. From the beginning of time, the human race would always be at the winning end of the deal. The human cultivators had more means of improving their strength and their number of powerful cultivators were aplenty. The mission that the five origin beasts accepted earlier on in their lives were left uncompleted.

Millions of years had passed with no solution. In the end, their promise to the primogenitor had been forgotten and weakened over time. Only the Four feathered phoenix and the Divine Terra Turtle still remembered it deeply. For the thousand years of entrapment, Drago Firestorm had plenty of time to think to himself. There was no one and nothing to distract him.

The promise that the dragon had once forgotten, resurfaced again. There was deep regret that formed within his heart. He knew that his time was running out and that there was nothing that he could do to help fix the problem that he had made in the past. Every day, he would pray that somehow he could rewind time back a thousand years ago. If he could do that, he would stop himself and his brothers from rampaging. it was all too late…

Until…

A nine year old boy had accidentally stumbled into his cave dwelling. At first, Drago Firestorm did not seem to care too much about the little runt. He simply treated the boy as a friend to pass time. When he saw the Braveheart Manual, his once frozen heart started to thaw. There was hope and it was right in front of him. Wang Li Tian, the little runt was that glimmer of hope in his endless darkness. He trained him and prepared him for that little bit of chance in his heart. If there was somebody that could help fulfil the mission that he originally set out of achieve, it would be Wang Li Tian that would achieve it all.

When the Four Feathered Phoenix received the Heart Scale message from his sworn brother Drago Firestorm, it didn't take long for the origin beast to understand what he meant. The regret that Drago Firestorm felt at the end of his life was something the Four Feathered Phoenix felt too in his entrapment. After millions of years, he was still unable to fulfil the mission his four other brothers and him set out to do.

Wang Li Tian was the last wish and hope given by his senior brother. The rare innocent gem, Wang Li Tian, needed patient and delicate carving to become a potential candidate in uniting both races. The four feathered phoenix could see the potential that was hidden deep within his body. The outer disciple competition was the perfect starting place for little one.

The World Artefact, as discovered by the phoenix, contained the intent of Yuan. The primogenitor beast may be able to impart knowledge on the little one. Maybe, just maybe, he would be able to inherit some of the strongest demonic beast's power. There was nothing Elder Phoenix could do, except pray. The fate of both races depended on the action of the slow witted youth.

Wang Li Tian was the light in the extreme darkness for his brother dragon and him.

The creator of the Braveheart Manual, Lin Xue Le had walked down the same path as Wang Li Tian. Lin Xue Le had carved her own path and chose to head where no one else has ever been. Her eyes had seen views that other humans have not. Her ears had heard the truths that other humans neglected or ignored. Her heart had felt and empathised for the demonic beast race. She was different and had purposely chose to be so.

Lin Xue Le met Yuan in her middle years. By then, her mind was set on changing the Great World in its entirety. Yuan loved and was genuinely surprised that there was such a human that existed. The primogenitor chose to put the trust in her and had faith that she would be the one in getting the world to move to her beat.

The inheritance had been done and yet, fate was fate. Lin Xue Le met her meet in the years that she was growing stronger. Her death was unwarranted. Her closest confidante, Mu Zhi Xuan wanted to seek revenge for her. And yet, he did not have the power to do so. The trust and faith of Yuan had been extinguished prematurely.

Years down the road, Wang Li Tian, a fresh thirteen year old cultivator had entered the shrine of Yuan. The primogenitor realised immediately that his aura was oddly similar to the girl, Lin Xue Le from the past. Was he by any chance her disciple?

When Wang Li Tian told him about the story of inheriting the Braveheart Manual, Yuan obviously had queries. He clarified his doubts on the creator of the manual. Sadly, she had passed on and Yuan was left downhearted. Yet, as he talked to Wang Li Tian, the primogenitor beast's mood got better. That youngling was very similar to the girl from before.

They may not have met before, but their vision for both races were the same. They simply wanted peace for everyone. It was then Yuan made his decision. His time on the Great World was running out. The spiritual bodies was only able to live for a few thousand years at most. The chances of finding another person that was able to share the same vision as himself was getting slimmer. Even though Wang Li Tian had a poor start in his cultivation journey, it was something he could help with at the end of the day.
