Chapter 1: Weird Teacher

The Seven Swords Academy is a well-known school for producing countless number of experts. And most of these experts use a sword as their main weapon.

So if you'd ask a noble where he would send his son or daughter to study swordsmanship, then Seven Swords Academy will be their first choice. The only problem is that the school has really strict requirements in accepting their students and it is only proper.

With their fame, it will not be surprised if half of the whole continents all rushed towards the academy if these requirements does not exist.

The Seven Swords Academy is built in the Greenfield City, the only city not under the jurisdiction of any kingdoms. The whole city is ruled by the school itself.

Inside one of the many classrooms inside the school, there are currently six students wearing the standard green uniform of the school for first years. Among these students, there are only two females while the rest are all males.

One of the girls inside the room suddenly asked.

"Why is the teacher taking so long to enter?" She had a curvy blond hair paired with her brownish eyes. She can be considered to be quite cute for a girl of her age.

And to her question, the other five only showed an expression as if asking the same question as her. Then one of the boys who had a slightly above average looks answered her.

"According to what I have heard. Our supposed to be teacher got injured and may never be able to go back teaching again so the school hired a new one as his substitute," he told them everything he knew about this news since they will also find out about it sooner or later.

"WHAT?! They're doing a last-minute substitution? Is the new teacher even competent enough to teach us?" the girl asked once again.

"Answering your question. The new teacher seems to be powerful as he manage to shock the dean. The dean was the one who personally hired him into the academy."

"*GASP!" the other five let out an audible gasp, the boy smirked as he saw this and continued talking.

"It is also said that he had achieved a high realm in archery that the dean was full of praises towards him. But of course, this is just all rumors and I can't say that this is all true." the boy said.

Hearing what the boy had said, the other five were happy. Although the name of the school has the word 'Sword', the school does not only teaches everything about swords, they just mainly teach swordsmanship.

They also teach about beast taming, forging, spearmanship and others. One of these departments is the Archery Department, which is also considered to be the most unwanted department in the school.

Archery is an art or skill of using a bow to shoot arrows. Archers are known for being powerful when attacking an enemy from a long distance. But once the enemy is close to the archer, then the main advantage of an archer, which is the distance will disappear.

This will put the archer into a disadvantageous position as the enemy will gain the advantage and will be able to control the flow of battle into his favor. That is why the Archery Department was not liked by the hot-blooded students as using the sword makes them look cool and it is a very good weapon, while other weapons such as the spear, dagger, etc also give other advantages.

The door towards the room was suddenly pushed open as all the students turn to look towards it. A figure then entered the room as it headed towards the table in front of the students.

The students look at this person with a weird expression on their faces. As they couldn't be blamed since anyone who will see this person will have the same expression as them.

The person was wearing an ordinary-looking set of leather armor, but this was not the cause of their weird expressions. It was the bandage of cloth wrapped around his eyes.
