59 Chapter 59: Danzo became scapegoat instead

The words "master" were uttered by both Sakumo Hatake, Hiruzen Sarutobi and Danzo Shimura, but their tones were vastly different. 

Sakumo and Hiruzen tone was more questioning than shocked, while Danzo's was more shocked than questioning. 

'Why did Kushina suddenly have a master? Was it Tsunade or Orochimaru? What should be done next?' Danzo calculated silently in his mind.

It wasn't Asahi being conceited; it was just that dealing with pure hawks like Danzo, the more you yielded, the more ruthless they became.
