1 Lady luck has a weird way of showing {part 1}

"Oh, crap I only have five minutes left!" a young boy said with a hurried voice. This boy's name is rein, he is about 6 years old. he had red hair and pitch-black eyes, while red hair had been common in their region many had made fun of him for his eyes. he wore a red shirt with a holographic beast design that looked like it was real, and black sweatpants that had a mental looking texture to them.

He was rushing around his room searching for his holoband. It was wrist band used for communication and most daily needs such as a bank, link to other holotech, and force field. Rein found his Holoband under the dresser.

Just as he grabbed the holoband, a women called out to him.

"It's time to go rein we're gonna be late be late!" shouted a woman with a commanding voice. This woman was no other than rein's mother Eliemma.

Eliemma was a 5,1 37-year-old woman with hair that glowed like fire, and red ruby like eyes with a shimmer to them. she had on a white metallic light-armored uniform with logo of a hand under the earth. (Representing the New Hand of Humanity.)

Rein came running down a set of floating metal stairs, which lead to his kitchen. He grabbed a racca on the way to the front door, where his mother was waiting with his father Dentro in front of the outside doorway.

Dentro was a muscular 5,9 34-years-old man with light gray hair and light cyan eyes with a blue cross for irises. He also donned a metallic light-armored uniform but attached was a crown with wings wrapping around it. (Representing the Heavenly Crown).

Rein ran down into the arms of his mother who gave him a warm and caring hug. She picked him up and took him to the shuttle as his dad got in on the driver's side. She opened the shuttle door, got in and set rein down.

"This is the beginning of a new life!" Dentro said in a loudly cheerful tone.

"Are you excited Rein it's your first time out of the Heavenly Crown's organization." Eliemma said to rein in a caring voice.

While the shuttle began to omit a blue light from the hover pads then it lifted up and started heading toward the west city exit. The shuttle was about the size of an R.V, and the engine made no noise. The shuttle had been moving at 150 mph, arriving at the exit station in only an hour. During that time Eliemma was teaching Rein how to properly greet someone from the N.H.H as well as teaching him 5th grade literature, and culture of N.H.H.

"Hey bud check this out, we've made past the city's edge gate!" Dentro said as he used his wind control to pick rein up to see out of the window. He sees a beautiful city below him and an even more gigantic astonishing city floating on a giant rock behind the shuttle. A vast lush forest to the in front of the ship, outside of the lower city's edge.

It took the shuttle thirty minutes to pass the edge of the lower city, while they were on their way rein and his mom had played video games with hyper realistic V.R. After they passed the cities edge his dad activated auto pilot and went to join with his family. Almost an hour later Rein has fallen asleep. and they were only a quarter of the journey to their destination.

"Do you think he will be happy in a new organization." Eliemma said softly to Dentro.

"I promise you I'll do everything I can to make sure both of you are happy" Dentro said caringly as he held Eliemma.

"I know you will" she spoke back in a loving tone.

Suddenly the shuttle began to shake violently. Dentro ran to driver's seat, where he saw in front of them a giant black bird with beautiful feathers some that looked to be made of wind. The massive bird had flapped its wings to cause violent winds to smash against the ship.

Dentro had thought quick he created a barrier of wind around the ship and shouted to his wife hurried. "A giant bird is attacking the shuttle I don't know how long I can hold the barrier against this beast's power."

As two giant tornados began to form rapidly on both sides of the bird, yet it was unfazed. With a flap of its wings both of the tornados went hurdling towards the shuttle, while increasing the ferocity of the wind smashing against the barrier.

"Mommy what's going on?" rein said with fear and confusion in his voice.

"It's ok honey, everything will be fine." Eliemma said trying to reassure her son

"Here take this it will protect you if we ever get separated." Eliemma said giving rein a white crystal on a gold necklace.

The two tornados were about to crash into the ship and Dentro saw this, so he quickly he an idea. he ran to his wife and son

"use your flame to boost my power" he said to Eliemma panicked. Eliemma did as he said and the three of them were encased in a cocoon of fire, then shot out the back of the shuttle. The shuttle was quickly ripped apart by the tornados, as the trio flew away. The giant black bird began to give chase to them, creating giant arrows out of wind.

One of the arrows managed to rip through their barrier and take Dentro's right arm off his body. The immense pain caused Dentro to stop keeping them afloat and they crashed into the forest. The flame barrier was able to keep them mostly unharmed but the bird was still on their tail.

As they got up Eliemma was holding on to Rein tightly, when Dentro pushed both of them out of the way using wind. Suddenly a giant arrow of air ripped through his chest, leaving a gaping hole in him.

"I love you and rein so run fast!" Dentro gasped out as he created an arrow twice as big as the black birds. The arrow blasted off ripping through the black bird's wing causing it to crash into the ground the opposite direction of Eliemma.

Eliemma held Rein tightly and sprinted through the forest using all the speed she could muster to protect her son.
