1 Planet Earth Star?

In a small, rundown house a young man was installing a virtual reality capsule into his room. The capsule alone seemed to be worth more than the house itself. The young man was also wearing old, worn-out clothing as-well as having disheveled hair, making it difficult to believe he could afford such a device.

After a while of installing the device, the young man hastily entered the chamber and started the device with a huge grin on his face. He had been waiting for months after winning a lottery to be a beta tester for the new hottest virtual reality game on the market. After waiting for a few minutes the man started to loose consciousness as he slowly descended into a dream like state.

Although the state was supposed to feel extremely comfortable and rejuvenating and nothing seemed to go wrong, the man began to have goosebumps all over his body and started to shake uncontrollably. After a few moments he was gone, nowhere to be seen.

In a cold, lifeless, almost empty house a young man named Li Xue disappeared without a trace never to be found on earth again.

On a planet in a distant universe named Earth Star in the middle of a bloody battlefield littered with many corpses a corps started to regain its color and warmth as his wounds began to heal. After a few minutes a completely normal former corpse jumped up covered in cold sweat.

"What happened?"

The young man was initially only confused when he didn't go to a game loading screen and directly woke up in a new location. Now he was incomparably shocked as he realized he was in a pile of corpses with the smell of blood in the air.

Initially he wanted to run away, anywhere but there, a battlefield of corpses spanning kilometers in diameter. But before he could even start moving a glowing ball approached him and shot right into his head, leaving no room for him to escape it.

After being hit the he felt an incredible pain in his head so bad that he started banging his head against the ground until he passed out.

A few hours later he man woke up feeling completely different, he had two sets of memories! One from a man on earth who loved games named Li Xue and one from planet Earth Star who was in the army of a country in war similarly named Li Xue.

The Li Xue from earth was an orphan who worked just enough to be able to own a house and play all the video games he wanted to, you could call him a gaming junky.

The Li Xue from planet Earth Star started as an orphan and worked his way up to becoming a captain in one of Aster's armies in the war against Azalea.

After a long time Li Xue began to settle his thoughts and came to a dumbfounding realization.

"My soul combined with another soul! Have I transmigrated?"

After thinking for another while came to another realization.

"I have to leave, fast!"

The previous owner of his body had died in action after a grueling battle and sacrificed himself to kill the enemies commander.

Although he had killed the enemy commander his side had already been eliminated meaning there still had to be remaining soldiers from the country of Azalea killing any remaining enemy soldiers.

It was then he realized he was much weaker then he was supposed to, or at least for the Li Xue for Earth Star. The Li Xue from planet Earth Star had been a mid-level E ranked swordsman.

Yes, in this known universe humans along with other creatures could far exceed the physical limitations seen on Earth.

They were also given rank values based on their amount of energy emanated from their body which could not usually be seen from the naked eye. It could, however, be sensed by a tool brought by the Intergalactic embassy.

Yeah, there are also many, many more habitable planets in the universe filled with life and worse off planet Earth Star is at the bottom of the food chain.

Still, back to topic, Li Xue was in far over his head if he thought he could leave without being spotted.

And true enough, he soon heard a voice shout from not too far away "we found another live one."

"Shoot", even in his confused state Lu Xue knew he had to do something unless he wanted to be killed.

Just then something unexpected happened, a bright screen appeared in front of him. Although Li Xue was startled he quickly felt more comfortable knowing he still had something from the game he was supposed to be in.

After inspection into the screen Li Xue read a what was written on the screen.

Just as Li Xue was about to continue reading he heard the footsteps of soldiers coming to him. Instinctively Li Xue grabbed for his sword just to realize it was shattered and would be useless in a fight.

"Whatever, as long as I have this system I'm bound to find a way to escape this mess". Then Li Xue continued to read off the system.

"Accept" Li Xue quickly shouted.

Before Li Xue could react to the items he was given the soldiers reached him.

As Li Xue started running he read the first item used it without hesitation as it seemed like the only thing that could get him out of his situation.

Just as the soldiers were about to catch him, Li Xue was covered in a torrent of light and disappeared into thin air.
