Antagonist Awakens

"So… beautiful princess…. Why are you so upset?"

"Hmph… you were supposed to challenge those dragons! Not woo them… If this skank over here wasn't a tiny bit more attractive then me, those dragons would've stayed and defended me!"

Erik laughed in disbelief. How could these dragons be moved by only girls? After all, he was the main character, the main important being in this universe!

"Ha, listen… girl… you're underestimating how powerful I am! Did you not see the sky spread in different directions as I walked towards you! These dragons are now under my command, too… Doesn't that prove you're wrong?"

The princess, named Yvan, sighed as she stared into Erik's eyes. The amount of pride this guy, Erik, or whatever had was so much she felt bloated! It was like she was eating a meal of something nasty, and had the urge to spit, or vomit, or do something extremely unworthy of her perfect appearance!

"Uhm, it seems you don't know the legends of Arcane Dragons… They are known for protecting princesses... Even if you were a god, if you are a man, they won't stoop to your knees… Hmph, so full of yourself but you're just a toad in a well!"

Erik looked down at the floor. All around him were pebbles, and <pebble toss> was still level 1. Why not pick up the pebble, and just toss it at her? After all, she just insulted him, the one above a hero!

"I-I-I… I am so insulted! I'm a genius! I'm above everything! I…. have a pebble!"

The princess held out her hand as five gigantic fireballs appeared… "And… I-I-I… I have am a volcanic mage! Do you really want to test me…"

Elvia sighed as she looked at these two people fighting… "Listen… he's just new around here… He's yet to learn how to truly be a hero… Please, just come with us, and train with us… After all, you might have fun not being shacked up all day?"

The princess sighed as Erik gripped his pebble tightly. "Hmph, I could've just thrown this pebble, and you would've lost!" He quickly dropped the pebble and backed a step away. The heat from that spell alone was causing sweat to spread down his legs. It felt like there was little pricks stabbing him in the skin telling him to not fight this girl. He must do more than fight her! He must take her!

"Ugh, at least one of you has a heart… I swear…. You must have been spoiled in the other world you came from…. Where exactly are you from, Erik Green?"

Erik Green dropped the other pebble he hid behind his back for a sneak attack. "Uhm, good question… I will tell you if you come with me! If you come with me, there is nothing that I can't do!"

The princess laughed… For some reason, she was beginning to like this guy. "Heh… he's such a funny little level one man…. Alright… Since he technically saved me, and even went as far to bitch slap my father to get me out of the castle… I will join your party!"

[Ding! Host has been asked by princess Yvan to join your party…]

[Would you like to accept Yvan into your party?]

"…"

"Ugh, show me her stats first…"

"Wow… I accept you into my party! Yes…. And into my—"

"Ugh hum!" Elvia said before slapping him in the back, "Where exactly into are you going?"

He smiled before he pat her on her back. "Uhm, nowhere… if I'm going to go, you can guide me into that special place…"

Elvia sighed forgetting that she wasn't the jealous type. The princess then walked up to them before she looked down at the pebble on the ground.

"Heh… we really need to get you some new skills, <Pebble Toss>… You're going to be killed if you keep this up… Now, shall we go to town?"

Elvia nodded her head as did Erik… The sooner they got out of here… the sooner they could destroy evil, the antagonist, and find the legendary plot armor! Once he was able to don that legendary armor, according to the lore and legend of the land, he'd even be able to fight the antagonist… However, of course, that was if the antagonist hadn't killed him already…

However, at this time, it was time for Erik to use his <Dragon Riding> skill…. He picked the biggest, most intimidating dragon in the pack, and pointed his finger down. With an extremely sour facial expression it rolled its eyes, and let him get on his back. That was when he began his journey, and they flew towards the town with an extremely scary herd of dragons.

On the dragons, he turned back at Elvia as she grabbed his waist…

"So, I think I'm beginning to remember something! There was a time not too long ago when I had a girl friend like you… At that time, I wasn't the main character and was on earth… She dumped me for three of my friends!"

Elvia grimaced in pain hearing this. "Ouch, so… even main characters have bad things happen to them? She must have been a pretty bad girl friend…"

Erik nodded his head. "Yup! She apparently really wanted vengeance for me not buying her a birthday present… So, low and behold, when I came home one day…. She left me a very angry letter. Not knowing what to expect, I opened it revealing a map…"

"When I examined it further, I realized the letter wasn't actually addressed to me, but to my best friend… Apparently, it was a map to this hotel…"

Erik sighed as the dragon slowed down and the wind slowed causing an extremely perverse mood to spread, but with a deathly silence. It was like the world took a breather from making noise so he could take a deep breathe.

"I then went to that hotel… Maybe she had to get something from him… After all, all three of us went to the same university, but nope, she was there for more vengeful reasons…"

"Hmmm, so, was she cheating on you?"

Erik nodded his head. "Yup, she was playing a game with my best friend… and his two friends… I won't get into any details, but lets just say it was a war game…"

Elvia now had no idea what he was talking about. She thought the worst, but now he was playing a game. "Well, why would that be cheating," she asked him as she tilted her head, "I'm pretty damn sure that they were just playing a game…"

Erik sighed like she didn't understand. "No, they were playing my favorite game, and I wasn't invited… The next day, I left her… and that was when I ended up here…"

"Wow…. so even the main character gets what he deserves, hahahahaha!" Yvan appeared on one of the dragons and spun around him causing the world to start making noise again.

"Ugh, no… I wasn't the main character yet, duh! Now, can you stop spinning so much, princess?"

"Why… I'm savoring that Erik had something bad happen to him…"

Erik smiled looking at the just desserts not to far away… "Yup… and you're about to get served…."

The princess laughed before a small rock hit her in the chest. "Ouch! Where was that from?"

She summoned an extremely gigantic fireball and pointed it at Erik.

"Heh… it wasn't me princess… it was the wind… Now, let's land these band boys… I want to beat up some bad, evil b*tches…"

The princess and Elvia both sighed as they landed the dragon down in the village.

As they arrived, the dragons flew off leaving Erik with just Elvia and the Princess. Elvia was clinging on to his arm with a lock like grip, and Yvan distanced herself…. She'd never seen so many hungry looking men before, and they looked like she was a desert.

Fire ball after fire ball flew out her hand as she screamed and shouted angrily.

Erik just laughed… For some reason, she seemed like such a tsundere. Half of the men in town were soon on fire for their inability to stop staring at her….

However, they were already inside the quest hall… hoping to get a quest to level up Erik past level one… Needless to say, every single person cleared the way as he walked into the quest hall.

...

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA"

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

[Ding! Protagonist Levin has learned <evil laugh>]

[Opponents who hear <evil laugh> will have there speed, power, and agility decrease by 30%]

The demon king of the kingdom looked down at Levin wondering what the hell this antagonist was… He just contracted the Netherworlds for something to finish off everything that was good…. Now, in front of him, a man with nerdy glasses stood there. He looked as harmless as a fly, but was in some way very intimidating…

"So…. You are apparently greater than a Demon God… please tell me you're also not as foolish as one?"

Levin sighed as he crunched his fist…

"I… I am…. I am free! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

"Yes… yes, I freed you from the netherworlds… now, please give me a good reason to let you live. In fact, even a bad reason will save you from the mouths of my behemoths…"

"Pssshhh! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

The demon king was somewhat appalled the man kept laughing… "Is… is there something you're not telling me… For some reason, I'm going to have to kill you if you keep laughing… I'm starting to feel, weak, powerless, at your mercy… Please… give me a reason to let you live!"

Levin sighed before he looked at the spears floating by his head. "Hmmmm, I think me and you can be business partners… I tell you what… you let me slaughter a few villages, and I promise you won't regret it?"

The Demon King smiled. Suddenly, behind those glasses appeared a truly evil, and malicious stare. "Yes, yes, I knew I hit the jackpot… You're not only cold and calculating, but you're also not blood thirsty! You're a true devil!"

Levin sighed realizing that this man just tried to analyze him. He couldn't be analyzed… he was the protagonist!

"I… I can't be put into words…. I'm complicated, okay…. I'm so f*cking complicated my mother thought it best to throw me into an orphanage for safe keeping… Not only that… she even had the nerve to marry rich after that… My br*ther is an celebrity on top of that… HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

The Demon King felt a little bit surprised this man was opening up to him. This was an entirely new class of evil…

"Well…. Uhm… alright… if its like that feel free to leave, and kill to your hearts content…. Now, if you don't mind, please escort him to the door my succubus… We don't want to leave ones around here for too long… After all, he might cause a plague, or even tell us an extremely depressing backstory…"

"Sir… of course sir!"

Levin laughed again as he walked outside… For some reason, he was always laughing, and the Demon King heard his laugh all the way until he was clearly to the town…. Preparing to slaughter people…

"Well… may the plot thicken" The Demon King said, "May the plot thicken…"
