Chapter 2

Hai Ling was walking through the forest when she heard fighting.

*clang*

Sounds like they are using swords.

Hai Ling walked towards the sound and when she got there the fighting has ended. And there were bodies on the ground.

"None of them are alive" Hai Ling thought.

But then she spotted two people almost hidden within a tree.

Hai Ling pulled them out and layed them on the ground then she proceeded to check their pulse.

They both are alive but barely....sigh what should i do.

Save them i suddenly thought. Back then in the 21st century i was an assassian i killed people without any remorse and that just lead to me dying at the hand of 'him'

So since i know medicine i should at least try to save them.

Then Hai Ling looked at the sky and sighed. Its about to rain so i should get them to shelter heal them and then i can bury the bodies of these soilders.

"Found one!" Hai Ling thought as she dragged their bodies inside.

I need to build a fire first to keep them warm. So Hai Ling builg a fire and then started examing them.

She diagnosed them to have taken the 'Soul eating posion'.

"Lucky i have the antidote on me for if i didn't then they would've died"

When Hai Ling got done cleaning and bandaging them up. It wasn't night time yet so she decided to put on a cloak and go to bury the dead soilders out there.

It was dark by the time she got back to the cave

"Better check on the patients"Hai Ling thought as she went over to them so that she could touch their forhead.

'Fever' they both got a fever. Sigh this have became so troublesome. Well I healed them at first and since i done that I cant let them die of a 'fever'

3 days later

" ugh" said a voice as he slowly sat up and looked around.

Feng Mang realized that he was in a cave and he saw his personal guard Wang Chong on the ground near him.

"

I wonder who saved us" he whispered.

All he remembers is that they were attacked. He and Wang Chong were posioned and left for the dead.

"Master" said a voice

Fang Mang looked at where the voice came from and said "Wang Chong do you know where we are?"

Wang Chong looked around then shooked his head 'no'.

*Singing*

"Master do you here that?" Asked Wang Chong

Fang Mang nodded yes.

"I have a feeling that if we follow that voice we may just find out who saved us" said Fang Mang

Fang Mang and Wang Chong followed that singing all the way to where they were attacked. But they were shocked to see grave stones.

"Master someone burried the soilders"

"Indeed"

"Hmm" Hai Ling walkes back to the last grave stones with flowers and she planted them. (Yes, flowers I know it may be shocking that a used to be assassian to put flowers on graves but she is still a girl)

"Ha, I am finally done." Hai Ling thought. And she sensed something or someone watching her

"Master that girl is putting flowers on the graves. Why?" Wang Chong asked with his head turned towards Fang Mang

"Because they are your soilders aren't they?" Asked a voice behind them.

Only then did they realized that the girl who was putting flowers on the graves were gone and was standing behind them.

And they didnt notice it.
