Chapter 1Start as a Lesser Vampire

"In the end, where the fuck am I?" Ian looked at the blood red sky in dazed.

He could still recall that he was just on the way to work in the subway, listening to music through his headphones with his eyes closed. Then, when he opened his eyes, he found himself in a strange place.

Around Ian, there were four others who had a look of solemnity. The mood was silent, each of them had varying degrees of injuries.

'Who are these people???'

Ian blankly stared at the four by his side. Two women and two men.

The four had similarities, paled skin with red pupils.

'Fuck!'

Ian's eyes widened as he saw the large scratch in the middle-aged man's chest begin to close. The seeping blood coagulated. The bruises faded in three seconds. A few seconds more, the entire wound was nowhere to be seen like that of a newborn skin.

'What's the situation?'

Ian was really stunned at this time at the magical thing that he had just witnessed that only one would see in the fantasy movies.

D-did he perhaps transmigrate!?

Ian who had read various webnovels and films had a premonition in his heart. He became even more convinced as he saw the injuries of the three beside the middle aged man completely healed after a few minutes. Although not as fast as the middle aged man, it was still very impressive!

Ian's gaze shifted to the blood red sky covered with looming dark clouds and the blue moon in the horizon.

'Damn it... I'm really not on Earth anymore.' Ian took a deep breath.

The other four didn't notice Ian's abnormality at all as their attention was on the distant five black blurs seven hundred ahead of them.

Can they see seven hundred meters? If you ask Ian before he would definitely shake his head.

But now, Ian received a flood of information in his mind. A scattered fragments of memories that belong to the original owner of the body who coincidentally also has the name Ian.

This world turns out to be called the Curtained Imperium. In the Curtained Imperium, various dark races such as vampires, werewolves, ghouls, lich, undead ruled the world. Each race governs their territory.

There are five major realms ruled by the five major races. First, the blood realm governed by the vampire race. Second, the frozen realm of lich. Third, the underworld realm of the undead. Fourth, the forbidden forest of the werewolves and lastly, the Abyss Realm of the demon race!

These five major races occupy 80% of the Curtained Imperium according to Ian's memories. The 20% are of the minor races such as zombies, hounds, ghouls, and various supernatural creatures.

Ian belongs to the vampire race of the Blood Realm. A lesser vampire that had recently joined the team of the Expedition Scout of the army. As a lesser vampire, it was mandatory to join and contribute to the Blood Empire. It's also a way to increase his ranks and status, obtain contribution points to strengthen himself. Most lesser vampires had no choice but to thread this route.

'Damn... I'm actually a vampire.' With complex gaze, his pupils turned to his chest that has reddish lines like that of claws.

The original Ian actually died due to the attack of werewolves and Ian from Earth managed to take over.

Ian finally knew the in and outs of his transmigration. It didn't make him feel any better at all because there was still a danger... What danger you say? Ahead of them were five werewolves that were chasing them, one of them was the one that killed the original Ian!

Aside from the miscellaneous memories he received, there were no other important things. The original Ian doesn't have good status or is he someone important after all. Most of the memories were general information that Ian didn't have time to analyze.

There was a pressing matter now. A threat they need to revolve.

"Ian, you're lucky you didn't die. But this time, it seems we won't be lucky anymore."

The middle aged man broke the heavy atmosphere with a forced smile on his face.

The middle aged man was a Barseagle. He was the leader of the team 7 where Ian was assigned. Barseagle was a true vampire, unlike him and the three that were lesser ones.

Yes, the vampire's powersystem heavily depends on the purity of their blood. It is called Blood Cultivation.

According to his flimsy memories, Lesser Vampires were the most common, true vampires at the next stage with 5% blood purity, and high vampires with 10% blood purity. As for the subsequent realms, Ian was clueless. That is information that the original owner isn't qualified to know.

"I'm indeed lucky. There's just no way. Werewolves had far superior strength than us due to their large body." Ian responded as naturally as he could.

The other two women, Liz and Kate looked at him lightly. Then they turned their head at the same time at the werewolves in the distance that were getting nearer and nearer with dignified face.

Barseagle sighed, his red eyes became ferocious. His forearms bulged showing large veins, and his fingers revealed a glint as they sharpened. "I'll take on the two of them. As a true vampire, you do not need to worry about me. This is the best I could do as the captain of this team."

Ian, Liz, Kate, and Daniel nodded. With four of them, they might be able to barely block the three werewolves?

Unlike Barseagle, the four couldn't even make their nails sharp and use it as a weapon. Their is just no way. After all, they're just lesser vampires.

At most, they're two times stronger and faster than ordinary human adults of the human world but that's it.

The lesser werewolves on the other hand had average of eight feet height, innately sharp claws, strong bite force, and even explosive musles. They're also cruel in nature.

In the war of vampire and werewolves, vampires only starts to gain the upper hand at the later stages of blood cultivation. But at the early stages, they were far inferior.

Ian was also helpless. Not until...

Now, Ethan is back, on the eve of Ethereal’s launch, the world’s first fully immersive VR game and the battlefield where legends are forged. Last time, he played fair. This time? He’s armed with years of knowledge: every exploit, every secret quest, every broken mechanic that will let him climb straight to the top. But when he logs in, something is off. The system forces him into an unwanted class—Druid, the game’s biggest joke. The kind of class people pick as a dare and regret immediately. Yet as Ethan digs deeper, the truth shakes him. [Congratulations! You have unlocked the Divine Bloodline: King of Elves!] Ethan stared at the screen, unblinking. “…The hell?” The Druid class was a jack-of-all-trades, master of none—a scattered mess of abilities that mimicked other classes but never truly excelled. Their bear form lacked the raw defense of a proper tank. Their panther form was weaker than a rogue. Their healing fell short of a priest, and their magic couldn’t compare to a mage’s devastating spells. Most players abandoned the class early, realizing they could never compete at the highest level. And yet, Ethan’s stats are off the charts. His talents are absurd. His potential is beyond anything he’s ever seen. The system has given him something no other Druid ever had—a divine bloodline, legendary abilities, and a growth rate that defies logic. If Druids were meant to be weak, then Ethan was the exception that would rewrite history. He’s not just here to reclaim his throne. He’s here to take everything. Factions will rise. Empires will fall. The strongest will thrive, and the weak will perish. And the ones who betrayed him? They won’t live to do it again.

Young Master's PoV: Woke Up As A Villain In A Game One Day

"Now you see?" she shouted in a tone that was somewhere between annoyance and disappointment. "You can’t outsmart Scrients! They’re the most intelligent beings across the two realms!" "You’re right," I muttered, averting my gaze with a solemn sigh. "I made a mistake. I was arrogant to think a mere human like me could fool them." —BOOM!! "...Wh-What was that?" "Hmm? I’m not sure. Maybe you should go and ask the most intelligent beings across the two realms. Oh wait! You can’t. I killed them all." --- My name is Samael Kaizer Theosbane. On the last day of high school, I got into a fight with a kid I used to bully. It was a stupid and pointless scuffle. And in the middle of it, I tripped and smacked my head on a rock. That’s when the memories came flooding in… Memories of a different life. Memories of another world. Suddenly, everything made a twisted kind of sense. I realized two things. First: I was inside a game I used to play in my past life. Second: I was a villain. A villain! Not the cool, mysterious, tragic kind either! No, I was the worst kind of cliché — a spoiled, insufferable, and arrogant young master. The sort you'd find in those poorly written fantasy stories. You know the type! The one everyone hates. The one the hero would beat into the ground to show everyone just how strong and righteous he is. Yeah. I was that guy! My fate was to be a stepping stone for the main characters, be manipulated by a Demon Prince, and die a dog's death. And the hero? The hero was the same kid I’d been bullying all this time. The one I just got into a fight with. He was supposed to be the savior of this damned world. A world teetering on the edge of destruction, beset by wars, calamities, and a grim future that only I knew. And waiting at the end of it all was the final antagonist. The unbeatable nightmare. …The Spirit King. But could I even make it to the end? Could I really survive in a game where defeat was the only certainty? A game that had now become my reality? “Ah, fuck it.” I had no idea if I could. But I sure as hell was going to try. Extorting extras, manipulating main characters, altering the story to my advantage, stealing the hero’s cheat items, killing villains long before they could become threats — nothing was beneath me. Would the main characters be affected by my actions? Excellent! Would the story change? Even better! All I cared about was me. My survival. My life. My choices. “I’ll live this life with no regrets.” ...But as I soon discovered, fate wasn't so easily changed. And the price of rewriting your destiny was steep. ========== Discord Server: https://discord.gg/VjFQtDUaTR
