Chapter 4

I go into the women's bathroom and when I verify that no one is there I give myself the opportunity to laugh out loud. I've made fun of my boss to his face. I put my hands on my hips doing a strange dance. I fix my hair and winking at my reflection I go to my post. The phone rings two minutes later.

“Do you need anything, sir?” I ask as I pick up the hook.

"Yes, I need you to bring me a strong coffee," he answers in an annoying voice.

"I'll take it to you in a moment." I get up and walk to the coffee pot. I make the coffee and then I go to her door, then I knock.

"You can come in," I hear her voice. I walk in with the cup of coffee and put it on the desk.

“Anything else, sir?” I ask kindly. He looks at me while he drinks some coffee and then spits it out and glares at me.

"What the hell is this ?!" he yells like hell.

"Coffee," I answer, obvious and confused.

“Since when do I like coffee full of sugar?” He asks, crossing my arms.

"I don't know how you like your coffee so I brought you how your father liked it," I answer confused.

"Get out of my sight and bring me a coffee worth your job." I come out like the devil's soul cursing my stupid boss in every language I know.

What an arrogant guy! It takes me who brought me this day. Can it improve? Apparently, the world has fun with everything that happens to me because/ it's just fucking bad things! When he finished he walked back to his office. Without bothering to touch, I open and hand him the coffee in a bad way.

"Here's the coffee, low sugar, sir," I growl and wait for him to drink it.

—What are you waiting for? An award for the secretary of the year? Stand down — grab me, I'll kill you, I'll kill you!

"With your permission." My heels click hard against the ground and my face must be identical to Lucifer's right now. Damn Oto!

I sit down to write hundreds of letters that he gave me. Where do these things come from? When it was his father who worked, the one day job his son gives me, he gave me in a week. Damn fool. My eyes hurt and my hands are drooping from exhaustion.

"He can't come out until he's finished writing everything," Oto orders and glances at his watch. It's my stupid lunch break!

"But sir, it's my lunchtime," I say confused.

—When you finish the letters you can go to lunch — and leaves all glamorous. I grab my hair so I don't run and hit him hard on that Ken's head of hers, so they can take him to a hospital and find out that I put him in a coma for life. I snort and try to keep my cool, but apparently, this guy's plan is to screw up my existence. I look at the letters and it will take me a whole day to write them. I get ready to work when someone peeks in front of my desk.

“How can I help?” I ask without taking my eyes off the cards.

“Why aren't you having lunch?” I look straight ahead and find eyes identical to Oto's looking at me with amusement. Apparently, I'm the Russell Brothers game. Great, my luck is the best, from secretary to toy. A great plan of life Ariadna.

"Your brother left me writing these letters," I answer without taking my eyes off the computer. I hear her outrageously light laugh.

"He's already enslaved to you," he tells me amused.

"I don't mean to be rude, but I have a lot of work to do so ... Excuse me." I put my headphones on, completely ignoring him. A while later I look ahead and thank heaven that it is not here.

My stomach rumbles with hunger and I just want to cut Oto into pieces with a razor for being so cursed with me. It's not my fault he's a fucking bitter.

Then I see everyone arrive at their posts with a satisfied face. And I just have a hungry face that gives me away. I see him arrive with a huge smile that I want to beat off his face. I meditate inwardly not to jump in and end his pathetic life.

"I see you made a lot of progress, Miss Monroe," I feel the mockery in each of her words. I smile hypocritically.

—He has an appointment at 2:00 pm — I look at the clock and it's 1:56 pm — at Mr. Américo's company — he looks at me furiously.

"Why have you told me so far?" He asks, arranging himself in front of me.

"Maybe because I don't know where he was and I don't have his number." My ironic tone can be heard for miles.

"He won't leave here until he's finished writing each one of those damn letters," he orders and when he turns to walk towards the elevator I get up and show him my middle finger. How I wish to do it head-on.

I focus on writing the damn letters. Oops, I just wanted to throw you off a bridge. I will have to go to church because today I have cursed more than ever and I have very dangerous thoughts about how to kill my boss.

"I brought you something to eat," I look in front of me, and a Julia with a bag of food looks at me. I look at her in wonder as I take the bag.

"Food," I whisper and look at everything like it's the first time I've seen food in my life.

Eating is prohibited during working hours, but, to hell! I'm hungry and the damned man hasn't let me eat. I devour everything quickly, satiating my hunger. Julia only teases when I curse Oto.

"I'll love you for life Julia" she just smiles at me and takes all the garbage.

"By the way, your friend brought your car - and he drives off."

I fix myself and continue what I was doing, when I finish there are 10 minutes left until my shift ends. I wake up feeling my body sore. Today I will not go to the bar and less with Oto sniffing around. I take my bag and go to Julia, who is turning off the computer.

"And have you seen the boss?" I grunt annoyed at just remembering that this existing. She laughs when she sees my face.

"I hate that being," I comment. And I look for my car, but I can't see it. I walk up to the security guard.

"Good morning, where is my car?" I ask, not seeing him anywhere.

—Mr. Russell ordered them to remove it since he was going to put his friend's car where hers was — I feel like demonic energy goes through me. Where's my jump!

"And can you tell where the hell my car is?" I didn't mean to sound abrupt but the boss is making me out of my mind.

"Along with the junk" I open my eyes in surprise. I leave in a bad way to look for my car. I understand why I've been cursing him all day, he's a bloody worst. I'll call him Mr. Damn. It looks beautiful on him and I could even say that it combines perfectly with the character of hell he has. I'm even getting the idea to quit. This guy looks like he'll screw me up a lot.

I'm still walking when a car almost hits me in the parking lot. He brakes abruptly in front of me and I feel like the blood stops circulating in my body. I'm tempted to see if I'm still complete and I do it. The character that nearly killed me gets out of the car and I just snort.

"Now you want me to really run her over?" He asks annoyed.

—Learn to drive and I assure you it will not kill anyone — is the only thing I say and I keep looking for my car because I just want to get there and sleep through the night.

“Did you finish your work?” He asks mockingly.

"Yes, everything is perfectly written." I get in the car and start quickly. I see it with a smile and I lose it. I want to kill that being.

When I get home I decide to have a sleepover. It's been a long time since I've done more than work and work. I haven't stopped doing something for myself.

“Ariadna, why did you take so long?” Asks Julia, setting the table.

—It turns out that Oto sent my car to the junk because her friend had to park her car where mine was — she laughs and I glare at her — I'm going to take a shower, then go down — I go up to my room and I take a gentle, relaxing shower. I come downstairs with my pajamas on where Julia is and I see Luciana fixing her bag.

"Luciana, Julia, and I will have a sleepover, in case you want to come," she smiles at me.

"I'll make the popcorn," I wink in agreement when Alex throws himself at me, dropping me. I can already hear my back die.

Do you know that you are very dramatic?

The truth is that sometimes that is a bit dramatic and everything else. I look up and he looks at me with a big smile.

"Hello little sister," he greets smiling.

"Say hello to my back which you just massacred." They all laugh out loud helping me to get up off the ground.

"Family, I'm back!" —Luciana walks into the house like a diva. She's wearing sunglasses and a costume from ... Cinderella? The table is full of laughter as she closes the door and falls to the floor because she tripped over a box of games.

"You'll have time to be a diva later," I tell her, and then we all have dinner-making fun of Luciana, who ignores us and sticks her tongue out at us in a mature way. A very pleasant dinner. When we're done we clean up all the mess and send the boys to sleep.

"I brought alcohol," Julia lets out a party cry while I forget about my responsibilities.
