9 9: we need a doctor

" oh okay, hey luffy when you guys are done here wanna come and wake me up i'll be on the ship"

"hmm? oh sure have a nice nap alex"

luffy waved alex off with a smile

"i'm going to go find more food and get a bigger one than alex did"

zoro said before walking off, sanji who heard this also ran off

at the ship alex walked into the room she is sharing with nami before falling asleep to the sound of the forest

'ah what a peaceful island, use come here more often'

alex thought before falling asleep. awhile later you see the rest of the strawhat crew making their way to the ship as well as two giants, after arriving they turn to the giants and start thanking them for for the food before climbing aboard and setting sail.

"remember! straight ahead no matter what!"

yelled Dorry and Broggy as they watched the strawhat show sail off

as they sail a giant shadow appears below the water, rushing above so it's in front of the ship you can see i giant gold fish

"the island eater!"

the straw-hats hear from behind them before a sword slash comes flying past there ship and splits the fish in half leaving a way for them to sail past.

"that was so cool!!"

alex who was woken when they boarded said with stars in her eyes

"zoro you have to learn that, then we can travel through everything in our way!!"

luffy agreed while also having stars in his eyes. as they started to sail towards alabaster nami ended up catching a fever, she said she was fine so the crew kept sailing. Along the way they met a man named wapol who got into and argument with luffy, figuring luffy had it sorted out alex snuck onto his ship.

'wonder what sort of treasures he has?'

alex though as she snuck along the hallways towards the treasury

'man these guys pay almost no attention to anything other than wapol, it's ridiculously easy it is to make my way past them without being noticed'

going room from room between guards alex finally made it to the treasury where there was two more guards at the door.

'ok i have the element of surprise as long as i rush them i should be able to get rid of them before they alert the others'

getting into a starting position alex sprang forth at the guards like a coiled spring let loose, in just a second she was in front of the guards slamming their heads together and knocking them out.

"Man they were sweaty"

alex complained while wiping her hands off.

'now let's see what they have in here'

alex thought while entering the treasury. looking around she sees piles of gold and jewels

"I'm rich!!"

alex yelled to herself before collecting all the beli, just when she thought she collected everything she saw a strange looking fruit, it looked like a peach but was dark blue in colour which black flame looking swirls around it with a red stem.

smelling the fruit to see if it was bad alex decided to eat it to tide her over till sanji started to cook again, taking a bite out of the fruit alex started to gag and choke as if her life was ending

'what the fuck was that! that was the most disgusting thing i have ever eaten in my life!'

alex thought before throwing the fruit away.

alex made her way back to the merry with her prize before realizing something was different, it felt like something was brushing against her legs. Looking behind her she sees two blue and black tails sticking out of her, causing her to freak out and rush screaming from the ship back to the merry where she saw luffy sending wapol flying away.

"help there is something growing out of meee!!!"

alex screamed when she landed on deck.

"woah sugoi!!"

luffy screamed on seeing the tails, before rushing up to alex and grabbing a tail. This had an unexpected effect of causing alex to mean and blush while jumping away from luffy

"what the hell was that for you idiot!"

alex screamed as she smashed luffy into the ground.

"But it's soft! why can't i pet it?!"

luffy complains as alex ran away from him.

"cause i said so! now help me figure out how i got them and if i cam get ride of them!"

alex yelled at luffy before sitting down next to the mast and calming herself down. nami choose this moment to stumble a little bringing the crews attention to her and away from alex, which alex was grateful for.

"hey nami are you okay? you look really sick"

"yea nami your head is boiling!"

luffy exclaimed after he put his hand against her forehead.

"i'm fine. now let's hurry up to alabasta."

"I have a favour to ask, everyone! I know it's not my place to ask this as a passenger on your ship, but my homeland is in a terrible state now, so i'd like to hurry ahead! We can't waste even a single minute! So i want this ship to head for alabasta at it's fastest speed!

So let's find an island with a doctor on it right away! Let's cure nami-san as quickly as possible and then go to alabasta! That's this ships fastest speed, right?!"

vivi asked after coming out of the cabin

"yeah! We can't go any faster than that!"

replied luffy with a smile
