6 6: whiskey peak

"hey can you guys untie me now, i'm getting bored."

alex asked from where she was tied to the mast yet again. looking around her she sees the crew who she learned are called the strawhat pirates, each doing their own thing. Nami the navigator was by the help watching the log pose and changing the direction, Zoro the swordsman was in the middle of a rep with his weights, Sanji the cook was in the kitchen makeing dessert, Usopp the sniper and Luffy the Captain were sitting on the rail fishing.

"No we will not untie you! quit asking already."

nami screamed from the helm.

" fine then i'm having a nap, don't wake me until your ready to untie me!"

alex screamed back before leaning her head back against the mast and falling asleep, zoro who saw this agreed that it was a good idea and sat on the other side to also have a nap.

while they were sleeping the ship goat turned around as nami still wasn't that good at using a log pose yet and the weather changed from nice sunny day to a blizzard, a spring breeze, and a thunder storm with severe winds, the crew including miss Wednesday and mr nine rush about trying to fix the direction they are heading as well as keep the ship from crashing during the storms.

nami wakes alex up screaming at her to help with the ship

"hmph! even if your beautiful i refuse! As the only reason your untying me is so that i can be used by you."

alex then turned her head and fell back asleep leaving nami standing there with a tick mark on her forehead, before she rushes back to help the others with the ship.finally after what feels like eternity they make it onto course and out of the storms before crashing to the deck in exhaustion.

" hey, no matter how nice the weather is, you guys shouldn't be so lazy."

zoro say upon waking up and noticing the whole crew crashed on the deck in a pile. this causes the crew to get tick marks on their foreheads while looking at him. Zoro looks at miss wednesday and me nine

" why're you guys on this ship"

he asked while staring down at them, causing mr nine to leap up screaming

"you're slow!"

before luffy explains that their giving them a ride to whiskey peak. Zoro starts threatening my nine and miss wednesday about how he might have heard their names before and was about to continue when nami walk behind him with flames of fury coming off her body and smashes his head into the ground

"How dare you sleep comfortably all this time....? You kept sleeping no matter how many times we tried to wake you up..."

"What?!"

zoro turn around pissed off and looks at nami whole flames come out of his body, this causes nami to smash his head three more times, making zoro hold his head in pain while having bugged out eyes and sweat pouring off him.

" i was finally able to realize the danger of this sea just now. I was able to understand the reason why it's called the Grand Line. There's mo doubt about it, since all my navigation skills don't work at all."

"how blunt....Are we gonna be okay?"

asked usopp while watching nami.

"we'll be fine! Things will still work out for sure. In fact.... Look! Our first journey is over."

nami answered while pointing at whiskey peak in front of them. Miss wednesday and mr nine then jump onto the railing g of the ship to say goodbye before jumping into the ocean and swimming to shore, while everyone was distracted by them leaving alex woke up and used the knife that was on her bracelet to cut the ropes holding her to the mast before sneaking into the cargo hold of the ship and tossing a cannon ball she found there into the water to make it look like she jumped off.

while she was able to get the ropes holding her to the mast, she was unable to get the ropes on her wrists as they were in a position the she was unable to get the knife to reach. while searching the cargo hold for another knife or something sharp she noticed the ship stopped and it sounded like everyone left the ship, alex decided to sneak to the kitchen and use a knife to free herself.

when alex was free she quickly sneaked of the ship and scouted the town before making her way to the bank in the centre of it, upon reaching it she climbed the wall to the top floor window. using the pairing knife she used to cut her ropes she shimmied the latch on the window open before peeking inside.

'this place looks like the managers office'

alex thinks to herself upon noticing the shelves of books, a desk and a couple precious displays around the room.

quietly crawling through the window she searches the desk for anything of importance, noticing a couple papers, she looked at the information on them and decided that she needed to leave quickly.

'not without taking all the gold first'

alex though with a smirk. Making her way into the hallway and peaking around the corner she sees three of guards by the doors leading outside a receptionist at the desk and another two guards by stairs that lead down.

'that should be the way to the vault'

alex thought while looking at the stairs. looking around the main room she sees that the room has multiple rafters that she could use to sneak past the guards, thinking of that alex jumped up to the beam above her before walking along it to the main beam. Walking along the beams was easy for alex as she had intense training in balance, and flexibility while still in loguetown, therefore she made quick work of travelling along them till she was above the gauges by the stairs. reaching down she grabbed hold of the beam before slowly lowering her body down behind the guards until she as hanging, looking down and checking he position she let go and fell through the air before landing behind the guards all the while not making a single sound.

'this is going to be easy'

alex thought before going on to manipulate the lock to find the mechanical imperfections in the lock to find the combination of number required to open the vault.

' well let's see what we have in here"

alex thought before slowly opening the door.
