5 5: laboon

after making it over the reverse mountain the crew is greeted by a giant whale that ends up swallowing their ship. inside the whales stomach they meet and old man named crocus who is taking care of the whale and two other people named miss wednesday and mr nine who are trying to hunt the whale. after luffy knocks out the guy and girl crocus starts to take them to the exit of the whale, while telling them about how the whale was named laboon and that he keeps ramming his head into the red line.

"what should we do with him now nami?"

luffy asked as the crew gathered around the still unconscious alex.

"well we should just leave her tied up until we reach the next island or until she wakes up."

nami answered.

" HES A GIRL!!!"

usopp and sanji yelled in unison with bugged out eyes.

"yes she's a girl! she just has makeup and a chest bind to make her look more masculine"

" i should make desserts for when she wakes up~"

sanji swoons with hearts for eyes as he dances into the kitchen.

"let me take a look at her, make sure she has no injuries."

crocus says when they dock at twin capes and goes on to tell the story of laboon while looking over alex, by the end of the story he had finished a full examination of alex.

" she has a slight concussion that should go away in an hour or two, other than that she should wear her bind less often as it will stint her growth."

" we'll be sure to tell her when she wakes up, thank you for everything crocus san."

nami answered as they prepaired to leave, while noticing that the guy and girl had disappeared sometime during the story.

"yaaaaa! "

luffy screamed as he ran with the mast towards laboon and rammed the mast in a fresh wound on lagoons head, causing laboon to start crying and thrashing about.

"isn't that a mast?"

zoro asked while watching luffy with usopp and sanji.

"yep. it's from our ship"

replied sanji.

"it's the main mast.... Hey! Don't break the ship!"

screamed usopp at luffy.

"What the hell are you doing?!"

screamed the crew at luffy as laboon almost flipped their ship during his thrashing.

laboon got angry after thrashing for a bit and slammed luffy into the ground driving the mast further into his head, before charging at luffy again. this causes luffy to punch laboon in the eye, before getting thrown into the ground again. luffy and laboon went at each other for a little while as the crew watched them, eventually luffy yelled out

"it's a draw!"

causing laboon to stop mid attack, while luffy went on to explain how they are now rivals and that laboon has to wait for him to come back to decide who is stronger between them. luffy went on to paint his crews jolly roger on lagoons head and explained how he can't remove the mark by hitting his head against the red line anymore.

usopp who was fixing the mast of the going merry ended up moving alex to the side of the ship so she is no longer in the way while he works, while doing this he forgot to retie her arms again and just left her there.

"aaaaah!!!"

nami screamed which ,add everyone run over to see what happened, while also waking up alex who has been passed out for the past couple of days.

'what's that delicious smell?'

alex thought as she was waking up. Looking around she sees the blonde guy from before carrying trays of fish towards the rest of the crew who were gathered around the orange haired girl and a compass.

' i need some of that fish!'

alex thought while walking towards everyone. sitting down next to the fish alex starts eating ,while ignoring everything around her, while crocus explains how the grand line needs a log pose to work as magnetic fields mess with compasses.

"nghhhhh"

the crew stopes what they are doing except for luffy who is also eating the fish to look at who moaned. turning they see alex with two trays of what was once fish in front of her as she and luffy both start reaching for the final piece,. alex who was faster ends up grabbing the piece and brings it to her mouth, before luffy bites her head and the fish she was about to eat.

" AAH!"

"you can't eat her luffy!"

screamed the crew as nami punches luffy off of alex, cause if her hair to be slicked back due to his spit.

alex looks at luffy, then looks back at the meat in her hand before quickly bolting away from them while eating as fast as she can.

" HEY! Give me back my meat!"

screams luffy as he chases after alex along the shore. Luffy ends up catching alex but not before she shoves the final piece of fish into her mouth and stocks her tongue out at luffy, this causes luffy to carry her back to the crew before dropping her in front of nami who has more rope ready.

"hey that not nice! first you guys eat my fish then you tie me up again! how does that work?"

screwed alex as nami tied her hand behind her again.

" what do you mean your fish! that was my fish that i won."

sanji yelled back at alex.

" do you have proof of that? because form what i remember i was walking home after catching the fish when you knocked me out and kidnapped me! that's illegal don't you know? you can go to jail for that, tho i'd be willing to walk away as long as you pay me $500,000 belly."

alex replied with a smile, causing nami to punch her in the head cause it her to get a big bump where she was hit.

" now then crocus san what does the log pose look like?"

nami asked while turning away from alex and looking at crocus, who then went on to describe what the log pose looked like.

" do you mean this?"

luffy asked while showing the log pose

" luffy?"

"Hmm?"

" how come you have one?!"

nami asked while punching luffy in the face.

" this is something that those two weirdos dropped on the ship. why did you hit me?"

" just going with the flow"

" oh, the flow, huh?"

nami studied the log pose as crocus explained how it worked, and how they would have to travel down one path until all the paths unite before going on to raftel.

" now that we're done eating shall we get ready?"

asked luffy as everyone else just stared at him and alex with bugged out eyes for eating all the food

" woah even the bones are gone"

remarked usopp staring at the plates.

laboon chose this moment to throw miss wednesday and mr nine onto land where they asked luffy to give them a ride to whiskey peak and luffy agreed saying if they don't like that route they will just sail back around and try another when their done.

" alright let's go!"

yelled luffy as the crew and alex boarded the ship and headed towards whiskey peak.
