10 10: the cute doctor

upon reaching the island we the crew was greeted with a mob of villagers point guns and weapons at them

"Oy oy thats uncalled for."

alex says as she disarms the vial over i front of her before tossing it away.

"we need a doctor!"

luffy says to the villagers as he carries nami

"please she needs help!"

"get out of here you pirate! We don't want your kind here."

*bang*

vivi who was standing to the side got shot in the shoulder causeing the crew to get pissed off, but before they could do anything vivi stopped them from acting

"Please help use!"

vivi says as she bows to the villagers while explaining how fighting won't hel, this causes luffy to bow to them and ask for help as well, leading to a villager called dalton to take them to the village.On the way to the village they pass a hiking bear while dalton explained how as long as you leave them alone they will leave you alone, which caused alex to walk up to it and now before asking if she can pet it.

what alex did freaked out the villagers as they were sure she was going to get killed by the bear, but against all expectation it allowed her to pet it.

" OMG it's so soft!!"

screamed alex while petting the bear behind the ears, this seemed to cause the bear to preen.

after arriving at the village dalton explained how the onlydoctor on the island after wapol kidnapped the rest was a crazy witch who lived in the castle at the top of the mountain.

luffy decided that he's going to carry nami up the mountain in his back while alex and sanji go with him to make sure there would be no problems. Before leaving dalton offered them more clothes for the cold but luffy and alex declined saying they were fine and to give them to sanji and nami instead as both seemed colder then they did. While climbing the mountain they ran into a baby lapahn which tried to attack them multiple times before, alex decided that it was enough and caught the lapahn.

after catching the lapahn, alex held it in her arms while running and pet it behind the ears causing the lapahn to purr. after running for a while they ran into a group of lapahn who upon seeing the baby lapahn in alex arms got enraged making them attack luffy sanji and alex with everything they had.

"listen luffy! Don't you dare fight. Whether you attack or get struck nami-san will feel the whole impact too! She'll die..."

sanji said while looking at the lapahn in front of them.

"let's go sanji, we'll show them who's boss right!"

alex asked while charging at the lapahn in front of her before throwing a punch that sent the first one flying back into the knee behind it.

"yea!"

sanji also decided to join the fight at this moment, before they notice that there was way to many lapahn to fight while being efficient on getting nami to the doctor.

"alex we need to run away or we won't get nami to safety fast enough for her survive if we stop to fight theses rabbits"

sanji said while he started to run back towards luffy, before the three of them started a chase with the lapahn chasing after them.

Running to the left the ran into the forest next to them and used the trees to limit the number of lapahn that can attack them at the same time while also making progress up the mountain. When they made half way up and almost completely lost the rabbits they started to jump up and down on the ground in sync, causing an avalanche.

turning around sanji, luffy and alex started to run down the mountain away from the falling snow, they managed to make it onto a cliff they thought was high enough that the snow will miss them, but they were wrong and it was just short of being high enough cause in grime to be swept away in the snow.

Luffy seeing as they will be swallowed by the snow grabbed sanji and alex and leander on a tree that they then used as a sled down the mountain, while doing this the lapahn also used trees as sleds and kept attacking them.

looking in front of them they see a boulder in the way, sanji seeing as they are going to crash threw luffy nami and alex behind him as he crashed into the rock. Luffy taking this chance grabs nami and alex and stretches onto the rock with them, he tries to also grab sanji but all he got was sanji glove as he was swept away.

Luffy and alex stayed on the rock until the avalanche settle before luffy set out to find sanji, and alex continued to carry nami to the top of the mountain, when she reached there quarters up the mountain she found the little lapahn digging at its buried parent so she helped by pulling it out of the snow, before continue it in her way.

awhile after she heard luffy running up behind her, looking back she sees luffy carrying sanji while running away from a snow beast with wapol and his two minions on it.

Hey luffy! why would you bring them towards me? why couldn't you just lead them another way?!"

alex yelled as she started to sprint away from them. As alex was running she didn't notice when her feet and hands changed into paws or when she gained tiger tiger looking ears, but luffy did, he also noticed how she was gaining speed mush quicker than him.

Luffy seeing how alex is able to out run him reaches out and grabbed onto her and gets dragged away with her, wapol seeing this has his to minion chase after them.

" hurry up Chess, Kuromarimo! don't let them get away!"

just when the two were about to catch up they are intercepted by two lapahns causeing them to be punched back towards wapol. alex when she looks back recognizes the small bunny on the back of one of the lapahns as the one she helped further down the mountain

"thank you you saved us!

she screams back at the lapahns while continuing up the mountain. more lapahn appear as wapol and his minions were trying to rush past, causing them to be stuck there with the lapahns.

luffy and alex using the time the lapahns gave them started to scale the rock tower that the castle is built on, the progress is slow as they have to carry sanji and nami each while being exposed to harsh winds and snow. Even if both of them b]don't feel as cold as the others, even they in these conditions start to lose feeling in their limbs during the climb. at one point luffy cut his hand open causing him to drop sanji, while quickly stretching his neck down he was able to grab sanji before he fell to far.

Upon reaching the top alex and luffy are both already suffer from frost bite and a passes out when they see the castle. Luckily for both of them someone saw them passed out and brought them into the castle where the doctor ended up treating them and nami.Waking up later nami found a passed out alex and a small animal looking over alex.

"who are you?"

asked nami as she sat up and looked at the small creature. This apparently was the wrong the to ask as the creature freaked out and ran form the room crashing into medical apparatuses along the way, making lots of noise until and old lady with a young body came in and told home to shut up.

" I'm a doctor. Dr Kureha. Call me doctoring."

the old lady introduced herself while checking up nami. Doctoring went on to explain how nami was sick because she was bitten by a poisonous tick that should've been extinct 100 years ago and that she was lucky she made it when she did, as in two more day she would've died due to it.

"even with my medicine, you'll have to rest at least 3 days."

"what? i can't stay here for 3 days! We have to take vivi to alabasta soon!

"when a patient of mine leaves me, they she's either cured or dead. I won't let you get away."

doctoring replies with a creepy lady after putting a scalpel next to nami's neck.

"AHHHHH!!! Help!!"

the small creature yells as he went bolting out of luffy and sanji room with them hot on his tails screaming for meat, this in turn caused alex to wake up. The small creature comes bolting into nami and alexe's room with luffy and sanji hanging off him saying how they will eat him before they run past into another room, this continues for a little while as alex wakes up before she grabbed the small creature on its way past and starts to cuddle with him cause i got luffy and sanji to crash into a wall.

" OMG he's so fluffy!! I think i'm going to die!"

alex screamed with the small animal in her paws. Luffy and sanji finally noticing that nami is awake rush towards her to see how she's doing as alex starts to freak out after noticing her paws, letting go of the creature it takes this chance to run but , not before being noticed by luffy, who chances after him again.

doctoring then explains to nami how the small creatures name was chopper, an ordinary reindeer that ate the human human fruit, and how she took him in as her disciple, teaching him everything but her eternal youth.
