"Koko..." - Alex

Koko stood up and brushed off the non-existent dust. By this time the crowd seemed adapted to my chaotic lifestyle, only a few short occasional glances in our direction.

"Koko, why are you here?" I try again.

Ignoring my question, "Miss Waitress, can you bring me what she's having," she winks at the defenseless employee. She stubbornly sat in the seat that was previously occupied with holding up my body two feet above the ground.

"Koko..." I whined, "that's my chair."

"Jeez... your names not on it. But really this makes me think that with your whining, no one would ever believe that you're a ruthless hit woman. Or -what was it?- an assassin?" Koko smirked.

"Shut uppppp!" I bury my face in my scarred hands as my cheeks burned with serious tomato red intensity. "It's not like you're sooo squeaky clean."

"Yes, yes. You're quite right," she surmised.

My waitress finally arrived with my steaming steaks and cool, fresh coco-cola. But what truly broke my heart was the extra serving she had in her other hand, Koko's portion.

"Dammit, Koko!" I cursed. "I told you to not mess with time. You - you damn God!"

"Alex, deary, don't worry, it was a momentary lapse in judgment," she claimed.

"You say that every single time!" I whine. Koko was like a mother figure to me, but sometimes she was like a little kid I needed to scold for being an idiot.
