"What happened to you?" Orlee asked Selena, who is having a bump on her forehead and a hand's print on her left cheek which Selena almost covered with an ice-pack.

Orlee walked upto her and sat beside her checking the bump on her forehead just then Mrs. Laura Gilborn stood beside them. "Some psychopaths who snuck inside our school premises did this to her when she thought it's the best time to play 'detective' on them instead of informing the situation to elders." Mrs.Laura Gilborn spoke sarcastically emphasizing the word 'detective' specifically.

"What?" Orlee asked shockingly on what Mrs.Gilborn spoke.

'Why will anyone want to sneak inside a school? Like what is there to even steal? And that too beat up a teenager this badly?' Orlee thought.

"No Mrs.Gilborn, I was just..." Selena tried to speak for herself but was interrupted by Mrs.Gilborn who was fuming with rage.

"Don't you try to justify yourself Ms.Gellon. Do you know how dangerous that was? They might be some criminals for all we know. When you see someone sneak in, you don't go around asking them Why? You have to flee from that place. What if they had done something to you instead of beating you up? What if they stab you to DEATH? We never know. " By the end of her speech, Mrs.Gilborn was screaming at Selena. But whatever Mrs.Gilborn spoke actually makes sense. And why would anyone go around talking to people that snuck inside. But also Orlee didn't know the whole story. She looked at Selena who is on the verge of crying. Orlee slowly rubbed Selena's back consoling her.

"God!! These teenagers nowadays just lost their minds. Today anything is not going properly. In the morning Mr. Jeffkins, later Ryan, now Her" Mrs.Gilborn was talking to herself clutching her head and glaring at the wall.

"Have you gone for a checkup? Your forehead looks a little bad" Orlee softly spoke to Selena ignoring Mrs.Gilborn's chattering.

"Yeah, Nurse told me it's not anything major and to rest for 2 days." She told Orlee while putting the ice pack on her forehead and also wincing because of pain.

Orlee nodded and asked "What happened?"

"I was coming out of the bathroom and saw these two guys sneaking in. They are going into security room. I really thought they are our school boys planning for a prank, so I just casually gone upto them to know what they are upto?" Orlee can tell Selena was traumatized since her hands are shaking while she spoke. Orlee nodded for her to continue while rubbing her back to calm her down.

"They knocked me down with their bare hands and ran off when they saw Mrs.Gilborn coming and later she took me to nurse" Selena was looking at Mrs.Gilborn with gratitude.

"Nurse told me to rest but now I have to give my valedictorian speech within 20 minutes. How can I give a speech with this face? and it's hella paining. Oww..." She is cussing and accidentally put so much pressure on the wound. Orlee felt sympathetic for her and took the ice pack from her and held it on her cheek since she was holding for a while and her hands might have gone numb.

"Thank you." She mumbled and smiled at Orlee and she reflected the same.

"So Mrs.Gilborn suggested that I give my speech to you, so you can deliver the valedictorian speech" She told me with a disappointed face and gave me two papers that has something written on it.

"What? No!! I can't do this, you know how I freak out in front of the large audience. Did you forget what happened last time when I tried to give a speech? That was totally a Big disaster with a capital D. Why don't you give this to someone else?" Orlee asked appalled and she accidentally put some pressure on Selena's cheek.

"Ouchhh..." Selena winced. "Sorry...." Orlee sheepishly smiled and apologized.

"I don't know, ask Mrs.Gilborn" Selena told Orlee pointing with her chin at Mrs.Gilborn who was still talking to herself and freaking out.

"Mrs.Gilborn" Orlee called her and Mrs.Gilborn immediately turned her head and was glaring at them as to why they disturbed her.

"I can't give the speech, I could completely ruin this. I suggest you give this to somebody else" Orlee told her with a face that says 'I'm gonna die if I do this'

"Oh not you too. Are you guys today on a mission to give me panic attack or what?" Mrs.Gilborn asked Olree with a frown on her face. Orlee didn't know who she was talking. She might be referring to Mr. Jeffkins and Ryan which she mentioned last time.

"I'm sorry if any events didn't turn out as you thought but I really really can't do this stage stuff Mrs.Gilborn" Orlee told her with a determined look on her face. "Last time I did this, it turned out as an entertainment show, this is really not my cup of tea"

"Is that so? I want you to give this speech. End of discussion" Mrs.Gilborn spoke pointing Orlee with her index finger emphasizing every word. With that she walked towards the door.

"You have already wasted your time, you only have 15 minutes to prepare for yourself. I'll come to you when it's your turn. You better utilize this last 15 minutes" with that being said she was out of the room.

Orlee looked at Selena who was already looking at her with sympathy on her face.

'What have I gotten myself into?' Orlee thought.
