12 Kidnapping

Kanna evaded the hand before turning her body to face the person that had tried to grab her. She saw a pair of men. Nothing outstanding could be said about them. They were both of average heights and had faces that would get lost in the crowd. The one that had tried to grab her had a goatee that didn't suit him at all and had brown hair while the other had dirty blonde hair.

She had an ominous feeling well up in her chest and slowly tried to back away. She wasn't as naive as to trust about anyone she would see.

"Hey, little girlie. No need to be scared. We aren't bad people." He spoke in English. The brown-haired man shook his hands implying he was no threat. This instead did the opposite, she became even more cautious about the duo and was ready to sprint for her dear life although she had no idea what they were saying.

She at least knew Chinese and Japanese. She knew German because that was what her last life's language was and you can already guess why the Japanese. She continued to back away until her back hit something a wall. Before she could turn back and see what she had hit, her vision was blocked and she could feel her body being plopped onto someone's shoulder.

She inwardly cursed not being a "21st-century assassin" in her first life. But even if she thought that she couldn't deny what she was feeling right now. Fear. She wanted to scream and beg for help but she knew that that wouldn't help in solving anything. She could already guess a motive and why she became a target. After all, why would a young girl about 10 in seemingly expensive clothes just be in some random alleyway?

They probably thought she was lost and would lure her into following them by saying they could help find her parents. And if that didn't work, well they had whatever person she bumped into.

She had to do something. It's either her organs will be harvested or they will find which family she belongs to and ask for a ransom. Although she was shaking, she tried her best to keep a calm head and look for anything she could use. Not that she could see in the sack though.

[Basically, your Space Ability activated with the ritual but you're two other abilities Awakened much earlier. Your Ice and Darkness Ability both awakened when you got stuck in the Meat Locker for 24 hours straight.]

By the time Kanna was finished with her mental conversation, she was dropped down onto the back of a truck and was driven away.

Meanwhile, in the same control room as before. The man which was probably Kanna's father and Tori were currently staring at another ninja man crouching on the floor the way they did so in movies.

He was sitting on the swivel chair from last time but instead had a terrifying look on his face,

"Have you found my children yet?" His voice carried a domineering tone that made you feel as if you had no choice but to answer.

"I'm sorry, My Lord. Young Master's signal couldn't be found anywhere on the planet. And as for Young Miss, we were able to tack it to Pheonix, Arizona in America but it suddenly went offline for some reason."

"You at least have some results, focus the search in Pheonix. As for Kaito... He can only rely on himself at the moment.

"Ha!" With that, the ninja disappeared into the darkness.

After the ninja disappeared, Kanna's father deflated like a balloon onto the swivel chair, no longer having the fierce image from before. Tori only stared at his Lord, couldn't give his Lord any words of encouragement. He could only imagine what his Lord was feeling right now.
