The President was on his limousine, heading to The Central Lab to watch the implantation of the Machine into Doma's brain, his secretary driving him on the way

"President, may I ask, what is that Machine? I heard it was conceptualized by Nikola Tesla but... What can it do? Or rather, what is supposed to do?"

"... It is supposed to have the power of the gods, the ability to alter the immutable laws of the universe that have existed since the beginning... "... And... What do you intend to do with such power?" the Secretary said as she clenched her hands on the steering wheel

"..." the President did not utter a sentence for a solid minute, the Secretary could feel the air suddenly becoming heavy "... I will kill the other six Overseers, and claim the world as mine, then I'll unite everything and rebirth Pangea... Just so I can have all under my reign... And I will make sure none stands in my way"

The Secretary upon hearing this realized the situation she was in, the President wasn't simply telling his plan, he was inviting her to become a part of what will happen if she accepts, she stays quiet and headed to the lab, but if she doesn't then who knows what's waiting for her

**What do I do? He's crazy! I need to alert everyone! I need o tell the Overseers! But how? I feel like he's going to kill me if I do anything! Do I just take my gun? Do I send a signal? What do I do? What do I do!?**

"What's with the silence?" the President calmly asked

The Secretary, not knowing what to do still acted on pure instinct and pulled got her gun trying to take a shot at the President, but upon pulling the trigger, no bullet left the cane

"You thought I wouldn't be prepared for this? You were always too kind-hearted for your good... I don't need you anymore" the President took out his gun and shot his Secretary right when the limousine reached its destination "Clean this up," said him as he left the vehicle, leaving it to his subordinates as he entered the lab

Meanwhile, in the lab, Doma was strapped to his bed and ready to be operated on

"Uhhh... Just as a reminder, what exactly is my job here?"

"You will be testing a new machine that was recently created, we just need to implant it in your brain"

"Is it going to hurt?"

"Well, we can't sedate you since we need your brain active to perform the surgery... So yes, it will hurt a lot"

"... I was talking about after the surgery..."

"Oh, in that case then I don't know"

The President was outside the surgery room looking through a one-way glass, carefully watching as the procedure went on

The Machine was carefully inserted into his brain and connected to the neurons on his open head, all the while Doma himself had to endure the pain, and when the machine was finally inserted and the procedure was almost getting finished, something unexpected happened

*Beep*

A faint digital sound could be heard from the surgery, confusing everyone in the room

"What was that sound? What happened?"

"I don't know, but it seems to be the machine... I think it was turned on?"

"Turned on? But it's not supposed to turn on yet..."

"Oi" Doma grunted "The inside of my head hurts a ton! What happened?"

Suddenly the beeping sounds became more and more constant, and a strange light was starting to shine on his head

"What the!? The Machine turned on!"

"Huh!? How!? It wasn't even charged yet! Wait... It can't be!"

The machine started to expel red-like energy which once hit someone caused them to either age to death, transform them into the dirt, or just erase completely

"It is! It's the AP-X! The AP-X is feeding energy to the machine and overlading it!"

The machine started repelling more energy by the second all the while Doma screamed in pain with the immense energy, the strength bestowed by the machine together with its immense power caused him to rip his restraints, and in a bloody scream full of energy and death, Doma vanished from the lab while leaving behind an immense explosion that destroyed a part of it

"Ugh" the President gets up from the ground amidst the rubble "Wait! Where did he go!?"

"It seems like he teleported sir! I already send a warning to everyone to try to pinpoint his location!"

"We gotta find him! Quick! The Machine is out of control! If he keeps it out of control... Then the whole world is doomed!"
