Eva saw her wound and knew that she was going to die soon enough. To be more exact she would become like those monsters that attacked her. She came to this conclusion because she could see the people bitten by those monsters becoming monsters themselves and not dying.

Then all of a sudden, she heard a ringing tone in her mind and some words popped in front of her eyes from nowhere.

Eva didn't know what was going on. She looked at the part were she was bitten but was surprised to find that she was healed. After inspecting the wounded saw no abnormalities, she knew that she had to get on one of those boats this instance or else she would die again.

Eva had no time to think as she ran as fast as she could so that she could get on the last boat as she saw it. There was only one boat remaining because it took some time for the system to cure her.

Eva didn't know how fast she ran because she only thought of saving her life first. Eva was running at the highest limit that a human could ever run. She reached at the last batch of people boarding the boat as the soldiers were fighting against those monsters.

When a soldier saw Eva running towards them, he motioned her come towards them faster. When Eva reached the soldier, the soldier made a way for her while fighting those monsters. Then Eva reached the last batch and stood at the end of the line. She could hear people shouting from the boat saying that to speed up the the boarding process.

It took time to board the people because they were checking for wounds. If a person had a wound that looked like bitten, then they would not let that person board and kill them right there.

It was finally Eva's turn. The man doing the boarding procedure checked Eva. When he found that there was no problem with Eva, he let her in.

When Eva was on the boat and sat at a corner, she sighed in relief. After some time she felt the boat was moving. Then she felt tired and slept right there in a sitting position.

The boat has set off for more than two hours.

Eva was soundly sleeping when she was woken up by the sound of a wailing baby. First she was shocked to see her surrounding but then she remembered what had happened to her.

Eva was confused as to how did she end up here. She was just reading a book silently at the library and she just happened to fall asleep. The next thing was she was here in this unknown place right in the middle of an apocalypse. Eva couldn't end up thinking how could her luck be so bad.

Then she thought of the event when a mysterious interface lit up before her eyes and helped her pacify the virus. Eva then automatically recalled the word ' Alterea ' and a interface lit up before her.

Eva wanted to explore more of the system but was interrupted by a soldier who was in front of her. The soldier asked in a grump voice as if he was really tired of doing this task.

"Miss, what is your name?"

"Why are you asking my name?"

The soldier got irritated when he was asked this question. The soldier thought can't the girl in front of her give her name. But for the sake of procedure and order he kindly explained to the miss in front of her.

"Miss, as you can see we are asking this to everyone." The soldier pointed towards his colleague who was doing a similar job. Then he continued, "It is so that we can register your name and find your family member if they survived the disaster and send you back to them. If none of them survived, we have to allocate a separate location for you so that you can settle down in the new town we are heading too."

Eva then thought that she is not able to remember anything about the previous owner of the body. By now she had already realized that she had transmigrated to an unknown body in an unknown land. Then she thought that if she can't remember then let's just give her name. Then she replied.

"My name is Eva."

The soldier was getting angry by now because this girl in front of her was playing with her. He thought that way. But on the other end Eva thought that since she is Chinese now, she should have a cool surname. So she answered.
