33 Training To Beat The Strongest

"He was holding back, but it felt almost as hard as Master's punches." It has been about half of an hour for Azuka to get back on his feet, feeling almost as good as new. His neck still felt sore from Khi's chop by meditating he was able to focus his holiness and mana to flow throughout his body. Which helped with his regeneration, but it took a lot of concentration to do so. "I will most likely never really use that in a fight," Azuka confirms with himself.

"Hmmmmm… Do I work on my durability or my mana control," Azuka scratches his head. "If I work on my durability I would be able to withstand his attacks, but-" Azuka vaguely thinks back to his fight with Khi. "He was able to absorb my fire. Plus that Ghi kid was able to control that campfire. I wonder how they did that. I guess when I get back to the village, I'll ask them myself."

Since I've started this journey, I've mostly been training on and off. For the first week of becoming a god, I practiced like hell on how to use my holiness. With a bit of Emily's help I was able to ignite my hands on fire and other parts of my body on fire. I did basic workouts; sit-ups, push-ups, squats, and some running. I started off by doing about 25 of each, then running at relatively full speed for about 2 minutes without stopping. I would take a 30 second rest then I would do it again. As more time passed, I started getting better and better, then would add an extra 30 seconds of running or add another 5 push-ups or whatever workouts that I had.

I remember me missing on times for working out, for practicing my holiness or researching about my God and other things. By the time I reached the dungeon at the Giant Kingdom, I quickly learned that I was limited by my space. So I focused on increasing my holiness and my control over it. I also heavily increased my physical training from 25 to 30 sit-ups, push-ups, and squats. As well as, by using the Punishment Room's bouncy walls, I was able to increase the strength of my legs. They were really bouncy, I could barely run across it at first. Not only that but I increased how many sets of doing my workout from 2 times to 4.

Hmmm, now that I think about it. I did try to keep the heat inside of me while I meditate. That almost ended in a disaster, but now that I'm kind of in a more open area. Azuka looks around him and sighs, I'm surrounded by trees. Azuka thinks for a second, closing his eyes, and begins to wander in a random direction. He bumps into trees and trips over bushes. Sooner or later he stumbles upon an open area that was big enough for him to train and limit his damages to the surrounding trees.

"I should train here." He inspects the surrounding area and notices that there are burn marks on the floor. "Who the hell did this?" As Azuka feels the ground of the burnt marks he hears footsteps approaching him. Shit, if this is a demon, I won't be able to hide, Azuka thinks to himself. "What the-? What are you doing here?" Azuka awkwardly turns around to see Khi completely shirtless, with diamond piercing abs, that distracted Azuka. "I thought you were going to the village, but I guess you found my training area," Khi says walking toward the middle of the open area where Azuka was.

"Oh! This is your training place." Khi is only a few feet away from Azuka before Khi takes a fighting stance, that resembled that of a wolf. "Glad that you know that, but now can you kindly leave the vicinity." Does he really want to fight me right here and now? Fine I'll take him. Azuka puts up his hands, taking his own fighting stance. He and Khi stare at each other for a second. Azuka quickly takes off his shirt to match with Khi's shirtless choice of fashion.

"Why are you taking off your shirt? I'm not going to fight you, this is just how I train." Azuka, embarrassed says, "Of course I knew that, I just-uhhhh- I just." Azuka was unable to stop staring at Khi's body, the difference between the two was evident.
