20 Princess Ichina

"That guy, Azuka. I wonder if they killed him yet," Ichina says sitting in front of her window inside of her room, located at the west-side of the castle. She sighs, it has been a week since he was put in the dungeon, she thought. "I want to go visit him," she whispers putting her head down on the window sill, falling asleep a few minutes after.

The sun had barely risen when she woke up. After cracking her neck and stretching her body. She finally got out her chair.

KNOCK KNOCK

Ichina jumps at the knock, "Princess, I'm coming in." Her door opened with swiftness as a giant maid walks in, almost breaking her back to get through the doorway. Ichina looks up at the maid, I hate being a Giant, because I'm the only one that isn't gigantic. "Where is Ju'anna, isn't it her day to babysit me," Ichina asks while walking over to her closet, opening it, and examining her wardrobe.

"Ju'anna's squad went out on a mission, apparently Jenna went with them too." Ichina grabs the third outfit she holds over her body, she looks at herself with the outfit and sighs, throwing it on her bed. "I thought Jenna was suspended." The maid seemingly pulls out an outfit that can fit Ichina practically out of nowhere. Ichina turns to the maid and snatches the outfit out of her hands, "Apparently she completed a secret mission that lifted her suspension."

Ichina undresses from her nightgown to the outfit she was given. The outfit was close to a dress, with a skirt at the ends of it. She looked at herself, twirling around, "Do you like it Princess," the maid asks. "I guess." The maid smiles, "Princess, let us start your lessons for the day."

Everyday is the same, I would wake up, get dressed, go to my lessons, eat, then go back to my room for more studying. I don't like this lifestyle, it's so boring, but I unconsciously follow my maid over and over again. I don't even know her name. How long have I known her for? It doesn't matter anyway, she looks down on me, not because of status or authority. Every single time I walk to my lessons, I walk on an open bridge. If I jump off the bridge, I'll be able to escape into the Kingdom. I always wanted to just jump off, but, I never have the strength to go through with it.

My lessons are easy and boring, just some mana control, language, all around combat. "This is all so boring, when can I go explore the Kingdom!" The maid hands Ichina a towel, Ichina grabs it and wipes off the sweat from her forehead. "Your father said, that you are prohibited from leaving the castle." Ichina grips her towel, "He is so old fashioned. Can you take me to him today?" The maid shakes her head, "You will see him during dinner," she replies.

At dinner my father, my 3 present brothers and sisters, and me mostly stay silent on regular days. If you stood in the room with us, you could only hear the sounds of utensils hitting plates. "Father, when can I go visit Azuka." Everyone simultaneously stops eating, "Who is Azuka? You aren't talking about that Knight Killer are you?" Her father says with food in his mouth spitting some out. "Yes, I am father, I want to go visit him, since he saved my life."

Thats the story everyone has been going with for the past week, I was saved by Azuka, but really he just happened to stop me from escaping.

"He is too dangerous to be around, in fact the only reason why he is alive is because he saved you," the King said swallowing his food. "Him being alive should be good enough, you are getting married soon so you should not worry about him." Ichina slowly picks up her spoon, she stares at it and slams it down on to the table. The table shook as even her other giant brothers and sisters are startled by it. She even managed to put a crack in the giant plate in front of her. "Father, I will not get married by some-some giant buffoon!"

"Calm down Ichina," one of her brothers says, slightly scared of what the little Giant could do. "I will not calm down! I'm tired of all of this, I want to visit Azuka!" Her brothers and sisters stay silent, as her father grows more angry. His anger by itself could have kill me, she thought at that moment. "Fine then, go visit Azuka. If you do, I will extend your ban to another two weeks." Ichina frowns and clenches her fist, "Sounds like a good trade right, Ichina," the King says.

Ichina excuses herself from the dinner and runs toward her room. She locks her door and promptly jumps into her bed face first. She then gets up and goes to her window sill and looks out the window. She takes in the surrounding area, observing and watching like a hawk. It was mostly trees, much bigger than her, with the occasional glimpses of the dungeon.

I didn't know what I would ever find out there. Maybe I was waiting for a proper prince to come and sweep me out of here.

"Maybe, tomorrow I will have the strength to actually jump."

As Ichina says this she sees something hurling toward her, she quickly backs up to the other side of her room. The thing breaks through her window and crashes into her closet. Her closet breaks, clothes covering the unidentified object. Ichina starts to walk closer to it, when the pile of clothes on the object rises. She becomes scared and takes a step back as the object rises more and more.

What is that? Is that an assassination weapon? She put her guard up, lowered it, then picked up a hanger that happened to be by her feet. She held it as though it was a sword and started rushing at the object.

She strikes the object and it said ow. "What the hell are you doing!" Ichina drops her hanger, "I didn't think I would see you again. Azuka what brings you here?" Azuka rubs the back of his head and finally turns to look at Ichina, "Oh you're that princess. What's your name again? Actually, not important right now." Ichina gets mad, "What do you mean not important, I have you know, I am a Princess, so you have to-"

Why did I just get mad like that?

Azuka puts his hands up with a pair of shorts on his head and some other pieces of clothing. "Princess, I want you to get to safety." As he says this another person appears at Ichina's window. "Azuka Limgard, you are giving me quite a lot of challenge," Azuka walks forward a bit, with clothes still on him. "Damn, he's already here." The mysterious person smiles, reaching into their back pocket, pulls out a pistol. The person aims it at Azuka, "Well it is to be expected for someone with a bounty of two million cels. May God be with you."

I thought that my life would stay boring, even after I get married, but with a bounty hunter in my room. Ichina smirks, "This could be fun."
