39 Khi Vs Damien

Azuka springs up clenching the photo of Emily tightly with both of his hands.

"What do you got there? Are you just going to ignore me," Azuka stays silent only observing closely. Damien hopped off of the altar and toward Azuka. Khi stands in front of him, but Damien casually pushes him aside, unwaveringly walking toward Azuka. Damien grips his left hand as it throbs harder and harder as he gets closer to Azuka.

Azuka lets go of Emily's photo with one hand, the other holding it tightly. He ignites his free hand with fire, centering his mana into his hand to increase the potency of his fire. Damien is mere inches away from Azuka, he towers over him not as much a giant would, but if Azuka was a single inch shorter he would have mistaken Damien for a giant.

"Damien," Chief says, "Do you really want to mess with a weakling like him, how about you fight my grandson instead, he is much stronger. He would be someone of your liking." Damien turns around to face Chief, "Shi! I do not think I asked for your damn opinion on who I fight! I fight whoever I want to fight."

As Damien finished talking and was in the midst of turning back to Azuka, Khi gets up from the ground, rushing at Damien. He reaches Damien in record time, Khi absorbs Azuka's fire into his fist, punching Damien right in the chest. Damien is sent flying to a nearby house bursting a hole in the wall revealing a family. The family shakes with fear, running deeper into the dark house.

"YOU TOOK MY MOTHER," Khi screams at the fallen Damien. "Khi! Calm down, look at what you just did, look at the house you just damaged," Chief says. "Shut up grandpa! We have to kill him now," Khi says.

Damien releases a thunderous laugh, he slowly gets up, "Listen, I have taken many mothers over the years. I'm sorry, but you will have to be a lot more specific-" Khi suddenly appears above Damien slamming into his stomach, before he could even fully get up.

Damien coughs up some spit, "That was pretty good, caught me while I was down," Damien says trying to get up once again. However Khi gets off of Damien and kicks his chin, launching Damien upward. Crashing through the roof Damien comes to a realization, this is the strongest in the village, no other person would damage me this much, he thought.

Both of Khi's hands glow as he forms his fire to appear like thrusters from a jet. He propels himself upward with the thruster like flames. Once he is on the same level as Damien he kicks him downward. Khi propels himself down faster than Damien can fall, after he passes him Khi kicks Damien upward. He continues the combo by flying toward Damien relentlessly kicking Damien, causing pieces of Damien's trench coat to chip away.

Khi then follows up with a spin kick, launching Damien away from the house he had previously crashed in. Khi finishes the combo by rushing at Damien, releasing one of his thrusters when he is next to him. Grabbing his throat tightly with the hand without the thruster flames. He pushes Damien down through another house, disturbing the safe haven the family at the house believed they had.

Khi directs his thruster to behind him, putting more mana into his hand he drags Damien, through the ground, crashing into multiple walls and houses. Fortunately the families inside the houses were able to hear the incoming battle and move aside before anyone could get seriously harmed. When Khi got to the last house of the line of houses, he stopped his thruster flames and raises his free hand as a fist.

"K-Kill me," Damien says barely able to catch a single breath. Khi was strangling him the whole time, "G-Go o-n. Kill me!" Damien's red eyes no longer seemed threatening to anyone anymore. It had started to fade away into a more grayish red color. Suddenly Khi snaps back into reality, he looks around him, he notices the cowering family in the corner of the house.

"What have I done, damn it, I lost my cool," as Khi says this he loses his grip on Damien's throat. Which allows Damien to breathe, his trench coat glows, transforming a part of it into a long blade that pierces Khi, but not completely through. Khi groans in pain, covering the wound with his hand, getting off of Damien, staggering backwards.

Damien barely gets up, his red eyes regain their natural terrifying light. Damien laughs, it is not as thunderous as before, as he is still recovering from being strangled. "I should have pierced right through you, but you damaged my coat so much that my blades became dull." As he walked closer to Khi pieces of his trench coat were falling off, disintegrating with the wind.

Khi channels his mana into the hand that was covering his wound. He created a small fire protruding from his palm and cauterized his wound. He groans slightly, then attempts to get up and escape away from the family within the house. However he is not fast enough to leave the house. Damien catches him before he could make a run for the forest.

"Would you like a taste of your own medicine.. How would you feel getting strangled!" Damien tightly grips Khi's neck, suffocating him. Khi could feel his head getting lighter and lighter. I messed up, he thought, everyone is going to die if I don't do something.

Khi looks to the cowering family in the corner, he reaches his hand out in a cry for help. The man of the family stepped forward silently, the man let mana flow through his hand and created a small fire coming out of his palm.

Damien laughed noticing the man performing his magic. "What is that puny fire going to do to me. Ah, maybe after I'm done with your strongest warrior I'll have some fun with your family. Wait, wait, after I'm done with that guy who pissed me off back at the altar."

As Damien was talking with his back to the man, Khi was able to absorb the fire. He then centers his mana into his hand and hits Damien on the back of his head. Damien loses his grip of Khi, making Khi start to fall to the ground. Instinctively Damien kicks Khi through all of the houses Khi had dragged Damien through.

"Shit, I forgot that you warriors knew special fire magic, blessed by the Gods or whatever bullshit like that." Damien slowly walks to the edge of the broken wall of the house. He turns around to the family, "Don't think that I won't come back for you." Damien laughs as he walks toward the center of the village where Khi has ended up at.

I need to spend as much time as possible regenerating my coat, it was too heavily damaged in that battle. I could have actually died, damn it Devil is going to be on my ass for this. I should hurry to the altar and get out of here, I need reinforcements to deal with that warrior.

Hmmmm....
