32 Khi Chapter

"Khi! Welcome back big bro!" Khi jumps off of the boat and lands in front of Ghi displacing the sand at his feet, causing some of it to blind Azuka. "Did the demons come yet?" Ghi nods his head, "They came in the afternoon, everyone else was hiding pretty well, but they... beat grandpa up again." Khi clicks his teeth, "Those demons always treating us like-" Khi takes a look at his brother and shakes off his sentence. "Anyway, come on, we should get back to the village before any other demon shows up."

Khi begins speed walking toward the village, Ghi hesitates, but follows suit in his brother's footsteps. "Hey!" Khi stops in his tracks, his sudden stop made Ghi bump into him, falling on the sandy beach. "You destroyed my boat in my town we make people pay for things like that!" Azuka rushes at Khi, winding up a punch from behind. Khi turns completely around, taking a punch right to the face. Ghi crawls on the beach to get away from the two, once he is in the clear he looks at Khi worryingly. However Khi seemed to not have been phased by the attack. Which causes Ghi to smile, "See I told you my brother was strong!"

"Shut up kid! I haven't even tried," Azuka said furiously. Azuka starts throwing relentless punches toward Khi's face which all seem to be not even effecting him in the slightest. Azuka starts panting as he finishes his rush of attacks. "Are you done? I am sorry about your boat. I will pay for a new one if you truly like another one," Khi says, impatiently waiting for Azuka, so he can continue walking to the village. "Not...even..in the slightest," Azuka says then ignites his hand on fire and quickly attempts a punch toward Khi.

Khi spins around to dodge the punch, however during his spin his hand glows. He manipulates Azuka's fire, absorbing it into his own hand. By the time he had turned enough to face Azuka he chops Azuka's neck with the same hand that had absorbed Azuka's flames. Azuka crashes into the sandy ground, "Oops did I hurt you too bad? I was trying to hold back." Azuka struggles to get up, but eventually gets up, however he can not stand his ground. Khi holds him up on his shoulder. "I'll take you back to the village."

"Ghi when we get back, we should hand him over to grandpa he could help us with the demons." Ghi nods.

Azuka is on the verge of becoming unconciousness, as he started off walking a bit, but soon started to drag his feet along. How can I be so weak, I've already been beat twice in the same day on this stupid island. All for what? Just for some treasure of some God. What if his grave isn't even here? Now I'm going to be sacrificed to the demons with no boat to escape from. I'm supposed to be a God? I've been beaten down by two humans, Master and now this Khi guy. I trained all for what, just so I can lose to even stronger people. Plus that demon guy freaks me out, for some reason I got a weird sense of deja vu from him. Is it just predestined that I will lose to everyone stronger than me.

Azuka starts slipping off of Khi's shoulder in which, Khi picks him up completely. With Azuka slouched on his shoulder he continues walking. "You alright there, uh what is your name?" Azuka stays silent, Khi sighs, "Ghi do you know his name?" Ghi nods, "His name is-" "SHUT UP!" Azuka stops Ghi from talking. "Hey you don't talk to my brother like that," Khi says with a piercing glance toward Azuka."I don't care! Drop me here, I'll make it to the village on my own!" Khi's forhead begins popping with veins, however he keeps his composure and ruthlessly drops Azuka. "Come on Ghi," he grabs Ghi by the arm, continuing his travel to the village.

After a few feet of walking he stops, "I don't know what your past has done to you, but I think that you are a bad person, but I have a strange feeling that you are also good at heart. Therefore, whenever you make it to the village make sure you do not interact with my brother. I rather not have him be influenced by you. Do I make myself clear?"

Azuka barely drags himself to a nearby tree and sit up, leaning on it when he says to Khi, "Fuck off."

"I see, while you were unconscious my brother told me about how that you called yourself a God. If you truly are a God, then you are quite the bad God," Khi continues walking again, leaving Azuka to himself. It is a two minute walk for him, he should be fine to come back, Khi thinks to himself.

Khi's words tugged at Azuka's heart as it reminded him of his childhood friend- no his only friend. Once the two of them were far enough away, Azuka couldn't help but let rivers flow from his eyes. "I'm a God, but I don't feel anything less than a human. Sorry Emily, I haven't kept our promise. Don't worry, I'll push myself even harder. I have to push myself harder. I have to prove to that kid that I'm a goddamn God." Azuka wipes the tears from his eyes and begin meditating under the tree he sat at.
