11 God Meets Giant

Azuka pokes the fallen giant on its head as the giant grunts and moans. "Hey are you alright?" Azuka asks the giant. "Water..." the giant murmurs, "What did you say?" Azuka asks this time cupping his ear to hear better. "I need water.." the giant says this time louder than before. "Oh, water, I got you!" Azuka takes out his water canister from his side and pours it, into the Giant's mouth.

The Giant jumps up quickly, startling Azuka. While the accomplice is stuck on his back, he slowly becomes unstuck and falls down. "Thank you, human! I would love to chat and repay you, but I must be on my way." The giant gets up but stumbles and falls, she sighs. "Seems like this is the end for me," the giant says happily.

"Why do you say that?" Azuka asks. He looks at the giant up and down, she looked like she was on the verge of death. Gray hairs, wrinkly skin, and dead fish eyes. "Human, I'm sorry for forcing this upon you, but-" the giant sticks her hand through her stomach and pulls out a woman protected by a bubble.

The woman had silk, long, purple hair. A body not as good as Emily, but her face seemed a lot prettier. "Who is this?" Azuka asks, the giant did not respond as she just continued to lay the woman down in front of Azuka. The bubble popped and the woman began coughing up the contents within the bubble. "Human, you are strong, please protect her...not for me...but...for...her." the giant barely got her sentence out as she let out her final breath.

Azuka is shocked by what happened, "What the hell, I can't believe that this is the first thing that happens to me. I have horrible luck." As Azuka says this the woman starts getting up, once she is up, her face is extremely close to Azuka's face. She backs up apologizing, while Azuka blushes, "Who might you be? Wait. Where am I? Where is Grandela?" The woman looks left and right and finally looks behind her. "Grandela? No. I told her not to do this," the woman begins crying.

Azuka puts his hand on her shoulder and doesn't say a single word. After about 10 minutes, Azuka finally speaks up, "She told me to protect you, but I don't even know who you are." The woman's eyes were dried of tears. "Ichina, that is my name." Azuka pauses, "Well, Ichina, why were you inside of her?" Ichina wipes her nose, "I was- no, we were running away from the Kingdom." Azuka sits down as he realizes that this might be a long story.

"We were on our way to the ocean, when Giant Knights came to kill Grandela and bring me back. She got stabbed with something and put me in that bubble. That's the last thing I remember." That was a shorter story than I thought, Azuka thought. "Well why are you running away from the kingdom, do you want to see the ocean or something?" Ichina gulps, "Well you see-"

"WE GOT YOU SURROUNDED!" Ichina and Azuka are both shocked when they look to the west, where the voice had came from. From above the valley were five gigantic knights. They were all larger than Grandela, mostly covered in armor, and carried gigantic swords by their side. "Oh no, the Knights have caught up to us!" Ichina yells, she begins to run away from Azuka and to the east. Without warning one of the knights hops from the top of the valley down in front of Ichina.

The Knight begins to swing his sword, before the sword could hit Ichina, Azuka had rushed over to her and pulled her back with his left hand. He ignites his right hand with flames and attempts to stop the sword by grabbing it. Once grabbed, the sword continues to move, but the speed of the sword gradually decreases. The sword finally came to a stop with Azuka a distance away from his original position. Azuka's right hand suffers some scratches, but the flames seemed to have enhanced his durability and strength of his hand. He then ignites his left hand, and hops onto the sword and lets go of it with his right hand. He then runs up the sword, to the Knight's arm, and finally to his shoulder.

The Knight had a helmet on but Azuka still punches his head with both of his hands at the same time. The Knight stumbles a bit, but stands his ground. Azuka leaps into the air from his shoulder, the Knight swings his sword to swat Azuka like a fly. Azuka barely dodges mid air as he puts up his ignited hands toward the Knight and fires a blast of flames. Azuka expected it to be explosion like, as he practiced, but it was more like a flamethrower. The Knight's helmet had melted a bit from the blast revealing dark hair. The Knight swings his sword down with immense speed and hits Azuka. He hits the ground hard, relinquishing the flames on his hands. He gets up quickly and dodges another sword swing.

Azuka ignites both of his hands again and claps them together. He starts forming a ball of flames in between his hands, it grows quickly to the size of Azuka's head. He then condenses it to the size of a ping pong ball and shoots it out to the Knight. The Knight uses his sword to block the incoming ball of fire. The Knight is able to successfully slow down the ball, but eventually the ball of fire goes right through the sword and pierces through the Knight's armor. The Knight stops moving and falls to his knees, while holding on to his sword, keeping him from falling completely.

Ichina is shocked as the whole fight happened in the manner of minutes. "I can't believe a human brought down a giant!" Ichina says waiting for Azuka's next move. Just who is this guy, Ichina thought. Azuka is almost out of holiness and is exhausted from just one knight. There were four more, he thought. I don't think I can win against these next four. Azuka puts on a facade to show the fact that he wasn't tired and turned to the other four knights and Ichina. "You're not messing with just an average human. You're messing with a God!"

One of the knights picks up their sword and infuses their mana into the sword. The sword transforms into a giant lance, the Knight steps back slightly and throws the lance at an amazing speed toward Azuka. Azuka ignites his hands once more, but they are quickly extinguished. He is surprised and forces himself to dodge, but the lance is too fast for him. Azuka is pierced through the stomach.
