15 Dungeon Law

"Hey, rise and shine everyone!" Jubarai presses a button which causes the cells to lift up. Once above the ground all of the cells open, most of the prisoners walk out, but most stay behind to sleep. Azuka had just finished doing some push ups when the cells opened. He walked out in confusion and exhaustion, "What's going on?" Azuka asks. "Rookie," a giant says as he rushes toward Azuka for a handshake. "Huh? Rookie are you even a Giant," the Giant compares his height with Azuka, he was around three times larger than Azuka. "I'm not a Giant, I am a God," Azuka says.

The Giant laughs, "That's funny rookie, whats yer name?" "My name is Azuka, what's yours," he says annoyed. "The name's Lacktin, nice to meet you Azuka." Lacktin holds out his hand for Azuka to shake, but Jubarai urges everyone to get in a line. Azuka was 62nd in line with Lacktin being behind him."Damn, I never realized there were so many Giants here," Azuka says looking to see who was in front of him and behind.

"Hey, stay in line," Jubarai says with his sword withdrawn pointing it at Azuka. Azuka panics and goes back into the line. I'm too tired to fight him, plus there are Knights nearby, Azuka thought. The line starts moving forward, knights surrounded the line most with their swords already out. The line was full of laughter and talks, how can they all be so cheery at a time like this, Azuka thought. The line moved out of the cell area and out onto a bridge. The bright sun blinded most of the prisoners, but those who could see, saw the outside world after being stuck in a cell for a while.

"Lacktin, I've been wondering how come we don't have any restraints on," Azuka asks as he looks at his wrists and ankles. "We don't just have any restraints, but we can use our magic with no problem." Lacktin responds, "I don't recommend attempting an escape or using your magic though." As Lacktin says this, a Giant in 52nd place stops the rest of the line. The surrounding knights grips their swords tighter. The Giant's legs starts glowing and leaps knocking over some of Giants behind him.

He leaps so high that he could see the castle from the dungeon. The dungeon was outside of the Kingdom with trees in between them, all I need to do now is just go over the dungeon walls and hide within the trees, the Giant thinks, I'll make a dash toward the mountains. Once I'm over the mountain, I'll make my way to the docks and escape.

The giant smiles as he is almost over the dungeon walls. Suddenly a lance pierces through his back launching him to a tree outside of the dungeon. Jugann stood on top of a tower in one of the corners of the dungeon. She held out her hand and her lance started squirming. It then flew back to her hand, "Knights, I want two or three of you to go and check on the body." Jugann jumps from the tower to the middle of the bridge as three Knights go over to check out the body that has fallen to the base of the tree. The Giants around the place Jugann landed moved out of the way.

"That must have been about 100 meter jump, nice to see that our Kingdom's protecters can take care of guys like that," Lacktin says casually. Azuka's face was full of shock, some other Giants in the frozen line, were shocked as well. Most seemed to not even care, "Why are you so nonchalant abut this Lacktin?" Azuka looks at Lacktin with fear in his eyes. "Dungeon law," Lacktin says.

Following Lacktin, the Giants who weren't shocked repeated, "Dungeon law." Jugann seemed to have started saying something, but she was stopped by the Giants. She clears her throat, "Keep on moving, the other half of the line has already gone inside the cafeteria!" The line reforms itself and walks toward the cafeteria. The line, which was once chatty was now silent.

I need to get out of here, Azuka thought, they barely give us any restraints, but if we break dungeon law we die. Master once said that he broke out of every prison, I wonder how he got out of this one- that was definitely a lie. Maybe I could act like Ichina's friend and get them to allow me to talk to her, so then I could get bailed out of here. Yeah, that could work, of course it would. Why would they deny the request from their own princess.

Before Azuka could come out of his thinking mode, he was already inside the cafeteria grabbing a giant plate, that required him to hold with two hands without dropping it. Every other Giant grabbing a plate could hold it with only one hand. Azuka could barely reach or see the food that was being offered, most Giants around him laughed at him, but Lacktin helped Azuka out by scooping up a few slobs of greenish-gray, mushy food.

After they both get their food they walk to an empty table and sit in front of each other. Without any assistance Azuka managed to get on the edge of the chair "What the hell is this," Azuka says while picking at his food with a fork. "That's a giant speciality, the good ol' magic enhanced meatloaf," Lacktin picks up his fork and digs it in the meatloaf, and takes a bite. He seemed to enjoyed it, so Azuka follows suit and takes a chunk of meatloaf and eats it at once."Rookie, you shouldn't have ate it all at once," Lacktin says taking another bite of the same piece of meatloaf on his fork.

Azuka coughs as he swallows his chunk, "It's not too bad..." Before this all I really ate was whatever I stole or Emily's cooking. Her cooking is amazing, I always watched her make it too. I'm not sure if she got training from the maids or not, never really asked.

"Even if it isn't that bad, food enhanced by magic can cause major stomach aches if you eat a lot of it at one time. Rookie, I suggest you go to the bathroom, before things gets bad," Lacktin points at a hallway that was on the opposite side of where everyone had entered. "Go right down that hall and take the first left, keep going straight until you see the sign for bathrooms. I trust that you know what to do after that." Lacktin stops pointing and Azuka takes his advice and rushes toward the bathroom.

Before he could even reach the first left, his stomach had already started aching. Once he took the first left he started to run a lot faster than before. He looked everywhere for the sign for the bathroom. "How long until I get to the bathroom," Azuka says with discomfort in his face and his voice. After some time he finally sees the sign for bathrooms.

He looks to the left side of the hallway and sees a gray name plate with giant language carved on it. He sees the same with the right side of the hallway. "Which bathroom is the men's room? Oh well, I have no time, I'll just use the left side." Azuka dashes into the left side and rushes into the first stall, which was completely open. Once inside he locks the stall door, pulls down his pants, ands sits at the edge of the toilet. "These toilets are so big jeez. Is everything so damn big in this forest."

After finishing his business, Azuka unlocks the stall door and walks to a sink. He is unable to wash his hands since it's so up high, he checks if anyone is around. He then ignites his flames and points his fists to the ground, he concentrates and tries to propel himself up to sink. However his flames seemed to only leave a burn mark on the floor. "Come on, I can do this," as he says this a Giant enters the restroom.

Azuka could hear its footsteps, when it entered, he looked at it with fear of getting skewered. It was a female giant, as giant as the other giants. She had blonde hair, with a scar on her right cheek, and eyes as dead as Grandela. "How are you using magic? The knights should of detected you using magic by now. Unless..." The female Giant starts crawling on the floor toward Azuka, almost spider like. Azuka is freaked out and quickly extinguishes his flames.

"What do you want from me," Azuka asks. The female Giant ignores him and looks him up and down. "By what I can sense, you haven't trained your mana at all," she sniffs Azuka, "You definitely smell like you got power. What exactly are you?" Azuka avoids eye contact and sweats, "I'm a God of course." The female Giant straightens herself up off the floor, "A God.... I've never met one of those, I've always wanted to meet one."

The female Giant stretches out her hand to formally greet Azuka, "My name is Jenna, what's yours?" Azuka grabs her hands and shakes it, "I'm Azuka, nice to meet you...." Jenna smiles as they shake each other's hand, she however worsens the mood, "You didn't wash your hands didn't you?"
