8 Birth of Azuka, The Fire God

"His flames are indeed beautiful," Emily repeats. The explosion of fire from Azuka managed to melt all the snow that engulfed him and the others. As well as all the ice on Azuka, that prevented him from significally helping. The snowball however received no damage. "Even with all that fire we couldn't breach through," Rai says patting away the left over flames on his clothing. "Peasant, give us a warning next time," Rai says angrily."Anyway, that explosion gave me an idea. Peasant, Dan, listen up!" Rai says, "I have a plan..."

Outside of the stadium, in a nearby restaurant, Amanda sits with her head down. "I can't believe it, I was supposed to be the one with power, how is mother going to accept this," Amanda thought as screams and footsteps of hundreds of people go by the restaurant. Amanda picks her head up and looks outside the window of the restaurant, "What is going on out there?" Amanda thinks for a bit, "It couldn't be Yuki? Could it?" Amanda grabs her belongings and runs out of the restaurant while yelling, "Please put that ice cream on my tab!" She then looks toward the opposite direction of where the mob of people were heading.

She could see the stadium, but the stadium was no longer the concrete, flat, beige as it was. Instead it was now filled with snow, pure white. "I have to stop her, I can't believe this is happening again!" Amanda dashes toward the stadium.

At the stadium, Azuka, Rai, and Dan are in a somewhat huddle, with Rai being mostly separated from Azuka. "Do you guys understand the plan," Rai asks. "Yup," they all replied with Dan stuttering slightly. Azuka began to run around the stadium at jogging speed. As he does this Dan rushes towards the snowball and punches it causing a giant hole to form once again. However instead of the hole regenerating itself, a blast of snow comes out of the hole, forcing Dan to fly back almost knocking down Azuka who was running by.

"Damn it," Azuka says while trying to pick Dan up. Azuka was slightly sweating from jogging. "I didn't know it could fight back," Rai says, "But it doesn't matter." Rai then sends off another lightning bolt, this time it was able to burst through the snowball. Every one was able to see inside and saw a crying Yuki, curled up with her hands behind her head. Seeing such a sight caused them all to be frozen in place, the snowball once again regenerates itself, this time attacking each of the fighting participants with a blast of snow. Azuka uses Dan's body to block the incoming blast. While Rai barely dodges the blast, he recovers and throws another lightning bolt.

Dan became officially out of commission as Azuka set him down on the ground and began running around the stadium, this time much faster than he was before. "I'm sorry buddy," Azuka thought regretting what he just did."Now that Dan is unconscious this puts the plan back by a bit." Rai thinks as he throws another lightning bolt. "That damn peasant ruining the plan," he thinks as another blast of snow rushes at him. This time he dodges it without any trouble, "Magic like this always has pattern!" Rai yells as he lets off two lightning bolts one after another.

One lightning bolt bursts through the snowball and the other hits Yuki. Yuki screams in pain as she gets electrocuted, Rai smiles, "I got her Peasant, you don't have to keep running." Azuka stops running to look at the damage Rai had done and catches his breath. "This-wasn't apart of the plan," Azuka says annoyed and exhausted. "Dan getting used as a shield and getting knocked out wasn't apart of the plan either, but look at him now," Rai retorts.

Azuka and Rai give each other death stares as they grow more and more angry at each other. "What have you done," Amanda says with tiredness. "Aman-" Azuka begins, but he is stopped by Rai who speaks over him, "Amanda, we took care of your problematic sister." Amanda walks up to Rai and slaps, "You idiot, this won't stop her, it will only make her stronger." Amanda turns to Yuki who was still screaming in pain, the snowball that surrounded Yuki had dissolved, "I hate seeing her like this. But this gives us time."

"Can you please explain to us what's going to happen after we run out time," Azuka says to Amanda. "4 years ago, Yuki's magic went wild," Amanda pauses, "We tried everything to stop her, but Franz was the only one who could stop her. We need to wake him up and let him do his thing." Rai intervenes, "Cut the crap, Franz has been asleep and sick this whole time what can he do?"

"He can show Yuki the light, the light to come back from her darkness," Amanda says. "If we don't stop her, she is going to destroy the town, we don't have much time until she unleashes her true magic." Azuka finally catches his breath, "Whatever that means," Azuka steps back to the edge of the stadium and gets into a running position. "Criminal, what do you think you're about to do to my sister?" Amanda asks.

"Don't worry, I'll do everything according to plan." Azuka smirks as he begins running at top speed toward Yuki, whose screams have died down slightly and was no longer being electrocuted. Azuka looks deep within himself and feels the heat he once felt before. He called upon it and felt a surge of power go throughout his body. Followed by the surge of power was pure heat, heat from within combined with the heat generated from running around. Flames engulfed Azuka once more as he ran toward Yuki even faster than he was before. "If she's cold," he thought, "I just need to warm her up."

Azuka finally reaches Yuki and hugs her tightly making sure that she could not escape. As he does the snow around her began to materialize again and tried to attack Azuka. However the snow melted as it touched the flames around Azuka. "Get off of the stadium quick," Rai commands running off of the stadium pushing Dan off as he does. Amanda heeds Rai's warning and runs off of the stadium, bringing Franz with her.

"I'm sorry, Yuki, but I have to do this." Azuka explodes with fire, melting all the snow on the stadium and essentially knocking Yuki and himself out. Once the fire was extinguished, Amanda stood with awe at the work that Azuka did. "I was powerless again, how could I let a criminal help my sister," Amanda thought.

4 years ago, Amanda thought, was any other day, I would attend business classes and magic lessons. I never really got to see my sister that often, she was a special case. My whole family has black hair, from the very beginning of my family to even me now, we all had black hair. Yuki was born with black hair too, but one day it magically turned white. Not with actual magic, it was more like a miracle.

That miracle drove my father insane to the point of training her to unlock her hidden Godly potential, with more and more brutal ways each day. They called her an early bloomer, someone whose God awakens before the age of 14. My father was the first to die to the power, my mother, convinced it was not a God but a demon that had taken over her daughter. Tried to seek revenge, but her first hand experience with the power drove her to desire more it. If Yuki could be this strong, then Amanda should be as strong too.

That was the mentality that my family lived by for years after my father's death. They doubled down on my lessons, increasing in difficulty every day. Until one day I was fed up with it and cried on Yuki's shoulders. If crying meant that Yuki would lose control again, then if I could take back those tears from 4 years ago. I would do so with no hesitation.

That day, the rest of the God Reincarnation Ceremonies were canceled for the day, but would be continued a day later. The Wriss family put out a public apology and reduced apple prices as a way for forgiveness. Azuka, Dan, Yuki, and Franz were all sent to the hospital. Dan suffered minor injuries, and Franz surprisingly had nothing wrong with him. Yuki on the other hand was told to stay in the hospital for a week for recovery.

During her time at the hospital she was approached by a man one morning, who introduced himself as David. "Miss Wriss, I can help with your God problem, if you join an organization that my friend is setting up." Yuki was sitting on her hospital bed, out of tune with the world. "Will you really help me," she asks. "Yes, only if you join this organization, I'm going to be recruiting those other Gods at the ceremony. I'll even recruit your sister if you really want me too." Yuki stays silent. David waits for her to answer, "I'll do it," she says as David was about to leave her hospital room.

David walks back to her bed and his hands starts glowing, putting his hands onto her forehead. Yuki has no reaction, I don't like this girl, something about her puts me off, he thought. "Don't worry I specialize in Mind Manipulation Magic," he says expecting a response, but Yuki stayed silent. "Oh well," he says, I don't like using this type of spell, because it leaves some permanent damage.

After some time, David leaves her room and is stopped by a tall man with gray hair. "Did she agree to join," the man asks, "Yes, also I don't want to associate with you anymore. Just deliver my payment to my office, under a different name, this would look bad on my record." David says as he sips on coffee walking out of the hospital. The man smiles, "Now all we have to do is get that Fire God."

Azuka suffered injuries that should have left him in the hospital for a week, but he checked out the hospital the day after he was put in there. "Godly healing does wonders huh," Azuka thought as he entered Emily's car.

"I can't believe you actually stopped her Azuka," Emily said while grabbing her tea cup in her car and taking a sip. "Well it was no problem for a God," Azuka says proudly. Emily frowns slightly after he said this. "Anyway, Azuka, what are you going to do now? You are the Fire God Reincarnate." Azuka thinks for a moment, "I'm not really sure, I might-" Azuka is stopped by the car abruptly stopping.

"What's going on driver," Emily asks scared. "Sorry, Miss, someone is blocking the way," the driver replies. The person blocking the way walks over to the driver's window and knocks on it, signaling him to roll it down. "Do you need something sir-" the person with a blink of an eye knocks out the driver with only two fingers. The stranger then walks over to the window nearest to Azuka and knocks signaling him to roll it down.

*KNOCK* *KNOCK*

"Don't listen to him, Azuka," Emily warns. Azuka doesn't move an inch as the stranger once again knocks on the window.

* KNOCK* * KNOCK*

Azuka doesn't give in to the stranger's request. Knowing they won't listen to him, the stranger steps back and in a blink of an eye he punches the window causing the car to go flying in the direction of his punch. The car flips over multiple times and is launched through the air, landing upside down. "Emily!" Azuka screams as she bleeds from her forehead. Azuka checks her to make sure she isn't severely injured, as he does the door on his side gets ripped off of the car.

"Yo boy," the stranger says. Azuka becomes frozen with fear and turns around slowly, "Master?"
