2 Chapter 2: Mizuki
[Who?]
When I woke up, There was 6 people in front of me, I involuntarily asked them who they were, but I realized it might have been rude to them as they don't know who I am either so I said to them:
[Ah, sorry, I should've said who I was first.]
[No It's fine, we're sorry too for interrupting your sleep.]
The grey-haired uncle with a sword at his back spoke to me first:
[My name is Grey, I'm the leader of our party, Silver Wolves, starting from your right, it's Anne, A priest and mage, john, A mage, Jack, a scout, Max, a shield-user, and Mary, A ranger. And if I might ask, who are you exactly?]
[I am.....hmm?]
[What is it?]
[I seem to not know.]
[Loss of memories? So you don't know anything then?]

[Think of your name and how your body would work and chant "Status" in your mind.]
I tried what he said and thought of what my name could be and what my body could be capable of and chanted "status", And what came out in my mind is:

My status made me confused but with no other comparison I couldn't really tell and so I decided to just show my status to the 6, The silver wolves, in front of me.
[Show Status]
A thin transparent board appeared in front of me and when I showed them what was written...They looked at me with shock and confusion.

[...is it weak?]
[No... It's just... I've never seen this sort of status in my life and this race has never been heard of.]
[Is that good or bad?]
[It's both.]
[aha..ahaha]
I gave a dry laugh to their reactions and I could tell that things will turn troublesome in the future.
And because it seemed like I had lost my memories, I wanted to know more about this place and where I'm currently at so I asked Grey some questions.
[Well, now the introductions are over, can I ask where we are?]
[Since you've lost your memories, then it's more proper to explain to you everything we know and we'll probably be here for awhile. And since there seems to be a barrier surrounding this area, it might be the safest place here, so we'll make a camp and head back to town tomorrow.]
When Grey said that, the other 5 in Silver wolves started to unpack their things and set up their camp. They had set up some tents and were now preparing some food as well.
Even though I had supposedly lost my memories, it seems that there are some things I know, or more like knowledge that's been implanted in me. Maybe that's the way everyone is.
What I know is that this world is a world of magic called Igdrasia and I've been created through the magic power in the surrounding area, Grey and the others are what's known as humans, who populate Igdrasia the most, and my ancestors seem to be dragons, the embodiment of strength and terror, and vampires, the queens of the darkness. While I was processing through what knowledge was bestown upon me, One of the members of Silver wolves approached me.
[Hey Mizuki.]
[Yes?]
It was Anne. She gave me what seemed to be soup in a bowl.
[You must've been sleeping there for awhile so i thought you might be hungry.]
[Thank you.]
If I was being honest, I didn't really feel hungry for food, and when I looked at her, my eyes were drawn to her nape and thought that she might be delicious. I quickly shook my head at those thoughts and wondered why I would think that sort of thing. I tried ignoring those thoughts and quietly and quickly ate the soup in the bowl they gave me.
[I think we might be ready to talk now.]
Grey spoke to me once again after everyone had finished eating and gathered at the campfire they made.
[About your status, We'll put that on hold for now and tell you where we are, considering your loss of memories.]
[Yes. I would like to know about where we are and more about you guys as well.]
[Well, let's start with where we are. We are in the kingdom of Rudimiria. This is the biggest forest in Rudimiria, it's called "The Nightmare Forest", where the deeper you go, the darker and stronger the monsters are. We are at the deepest part of the forest where SS-Class monsters appear and we were getting chased by one until we passed through a barrier of sorts, we investigated the area and found you sleeping at the center. Any questions?]
[What's an SS-Class?]
[SS-class is part of a system we use at the guild. The guild is a worldwide organization that enforces people like us to protect the people and investigate these monsters. At the guild, We use a Rank based system to be able to match the monster's strength to the people's strength, The ranks are, from weakest to strongest, G-F-E-D-C-B-A-S-SS-SSS, There's only been a 6 person party that's reached SSS-Class and they can be said to be able to defeat a dragon on their own. Also the guild is separated in two sides, The Merchant side and the Mercenary side, We are in the Mercenary side were we usually do the odd jobs, Escorting the merchants, and defeating and investigating monsters. By the way we are an S-class party that was sent to this forest to investigate the reason why monster's have been acting uneasy and not in their usual hunting spots and while investigating we ran into an SS-Class Slaughter Bear. Have you been following so far?]
[Yes.]
[Then now we'll go onto your status...Frankly, I've never heard of these kinds of stats and your race is unheard off. We've heard of mixed races but not ones with both vampire and dragon. There is only 2 vampires confirmed to exist in this continent and I've never heard any news of them having a child, But we don't even know how vampires and dragons are born anyway. Your status ranks are impossibly high for someone your age, though it might not differ that much from dragons and vampires, But no one has ever confirmed the real status of either one so it's difficult to compare. But if we compare your status with our status then we'll just barely be able to match up to you if we combine ours into one. Due to your status, if you were to join the guild, then you'd definitely reach SSS-Class in months considering that these are your stats at Level 1.]
[...Am I considered that abnormal?]
[Yes. I don't know how else to say it, but you are definitely one of the strongest right now, at least in our kingdom. And if you truly want a comparison I can show you my status.]
[I guess it won't hurt to see others' status so I can compare.]
[Yes, It won't hurt but not everyone is willing. Then "Show Status".]
Then Grey showed me his status that appeared in a same transparent thin board like mine.

Once I saw and compared Grey's status and mine, I can see that I am comparatively stronger
[There's not that many huh...]
[Most people usually only has a few skills and no titles. I recommend that you hide most of your status, to keep you safer and out of trouble.]
[I will do so.]
[It might also be better to hide your vampiric traits, like your fangs and your irises, and your dragon wings and tail, so that people won't unnecessarily pick fights with you, it'll also keep you out of trouble more easily if they just think that your a little girl.]
[I won't hide my dragon wings and tail, because I quite like them. And if people pick fights with me, then it's their fault for not understanding what they can deal with.]
[You also have enough skills to rival the entire continent, so whatever you do will probably attract attention anyway, so I guess it'll be fine. And it might be better for them to see you as a Dragonoid to lessen the chances of kidnappings too.]
We finished talking when the moon in the sky is fully visible and we decided to sleep the rest of the night out and talk once again in the morning. It was mostly me and Grey talking while the others just listened, but I believe that I'll get to talk to everyone tomorrow morning. For now, It is time to sleep the night away, even though I'm not really that sleepy, but Grey and the others are going to sleep so it's better for me to sleep as well. Good night.
