6 The Truth

Soon enough, I got in the castle, and people were throwing things and fighting.

"Oh no! Who caused this mess?!"

Then a cupcake was thrown at me.

The fighting continued on, as I saw Jake climbing up to steal the crown.

"STOP!" I screamed. Everyone dropped their food.

"Fighting isn't going to cut it!" I explained to them with tears in my eyes.

Then I took out my hypnotiser, and pointed it at Jake. Suddenly, he turned from evil to good. Then Evelyn came in and frowned,

"Hey, that's my hypnotiser!"

Everybody looked at her, and she knew her lie was exposed.

"And you stole it from the museum!" One lady yelled.

Everybody gasped. I can look in her eyes, and see that she is ashamed for what she has done. Then her mother walked in. Everyone gasped, but then my parents came with the real crown.

"What happened?", my mother asked anxiously.

"We were throwing food at each other, and Rachel came in with the hypnotiser, and hypnotized Jake!" one man explained in the crowd.

"Did you hypnotize Jake?", she turned to me, with anger in her eyes.

The whole room went silent.

"No mother, you see, Jake was acting evil, so I need to use the hypnotizer that Evelyn planted in my bedroom…"

The whole room gasped again, and turned to Evelyn.

"It was not me, I swear, it was Rachel!"

"Oh really, then let me play the footage from last night!" she flashed with anger.

I could tell there was guilt in Evelyn's eyes, as the guards projected the screen from the camera. People were shocked, as they saw what Evelyn did in the footage.

"Stop the video!", one woman yelled.

"The security guards stopped the footage!",

"We all know Evelyn did it, because I can see her evil grin when she hung around with Jake,'' Carol explained.

"Thanks Carol, now we will put Evelyn in the dungeon for 10 years for cheating!"

Everyone clapped.

"Guards, take her!" She demanded angrily.

The guards showed up, and got a hold of her.

"You will regret this, Rachel!" she flashed back at me.

I only laughed as she got escorted out of the palace.

"Looks like you earned the crown!", my mom told me with joy in her eyes.
