5 The mysterious thing

I felt nervous Evelyn is going to ruin it, and steal my crown. So, I picked that mysterious thing from the floor, put it in my pocket, and went downstairs. When I entered the kitchen, I saw my mom with Jake's parents.

"Mom!'' I yelled.

She and Jake's parents looked up at me.

"I found a mysterious thing on my bed.." I told them.

They got up, and examined the object for a minute.

"Did I see Evelyn carrying that thing?" Jake's mom started.

"Totally!", my mom flashed back at her.

Soon enough, they were arguing about that mysterious thing. I quickly grabbed a muffin and went outside. I saw Evelyn outside when she gave me an ugly grin. I made an angry look, and went in the chauffeur van.
