8 Chapter Eight: Kidnapped!?!

[ Wake Up, Wake Up, WAKE UP!]

"Ahh" Alistair woke up with a fright. Looking around him his surroundings were unfamiliar. There was a forest clearing with a meadow close to him, it was similar to the one in the mind space.

Alistair could hear birds chirping their morning songs. Suddenly faint movement around him. Alistair can see many shadows moving in between the trees and bushes.

Alistair was left with nothing except his thoughts, intuition, and instinct

The tress black, the leave were a emitting a vibrant shape of purple. The way the wind howled between the tress on leaves could be confused for being mystical, but the cold truth was that Alistair was afraid... and cold.

"Where am I?"

"You are in the outskirts of your father's duchy estate. Don't worry we are still close to the city. We are just in the Magenta forest, no need to worry."

Alistair quickly turned around but to his surprise he saw nothing. The birds at this point were stopped their chirping. It was so quiet that Alistair could hear his heart beat pumping gradually speeding up.

Bah Bump, Bah Bump, Bah Bump

"Where are you, where am I, who are you exactly." Alistair heart was bumping so fast that he was starting to...

Psst

"What was that." said Alistair

Alistair sensed something coming towards his head, aiming to kill.

Dodging out the way there was a black projectile stuck to the ground. Alistair watched as it ceased to exist as if it was never there.

"Huh, you managed to dodge, that's quite impressive. Though yes I released a bit of my killing intent. I never actually intended to kill you."

Alistair started to calm down, but his guard was up. This guy was able to evade from Alistair's sight and hearing, the seances Alistair was leaning heavenly on. Closing his eyes and placing his hands over his ears, Alistair started to concentrate his mana to leave his body and imagined it spreading around his vicinity.

After a few moments three more projectiles were ejected at Alistair this time at varying speeds. As soon as the first black projectile entered Alistair field of mana, still with his eyes clothes, dodged to the left with all his might.

Falling on the hard cold ground Alistair looks back to find that three black projectiles were once again protruding from the ground.

"Search Magic? How is that you can manipulate your magic so well, it is a known fact that the older you get the better your mental strength is. In turn strengthening you magic, but you only seven. Even that human hero, whats his name. Ah, Merlin, he only started manipulating and circulating his mana at twelve years of age!"

The voice started to mutter, quietly, but it was loud enough for Alistair too hear. Out of nowhere a tall shadow appeared behind one of the darkest trees

"If I properly pamper him, train him till he drops, and gives him enough resources... I can impress her." said the shadow

The figure dispersed his shadows and a tall man appeared. The man was a slim strong build with sword eyebrows. He wore a tight suit that showed off his build quite nicely. Purple eyes with black irises. Handsome face, and long black hair that reached his hips, he looked like those models on T.V. Alistair used to see back on Earth. A long and cool looking scythe was attached to his back.

A sinister smile appeared on the mans face. In a instant after hearing the mans last words Alistair face contracted as he realized this cliche scene that he watched in many amines in his past life.

"How would you like me to be your mentor in training to control your magic. I am a weapon master so I have many weapons in my arsenal, my most proficient one is the scythe that you can see on my back."

His words were very enticing, so enticing in fact that it felt like it was pulling Alistair in.

"Sorry but I will have to say no to your invitation." said Alistair as he was shaking his head.

"Once again you surprise me, I was using a thin layer of my darkness attribute to cause a illusion. But to reply to your answer I don't think you have a choice at this current time and place." The mans smile turned even more sinister.

"Now that I'm your mentor I think it's time for introductions. My name is Azrael, or my more known alias, the Angel of Death." A thick layer of shadow and darkness erupted from the mans body. Alistair could make out two dark wings, but before he could make out anything else he passed out from the pressurized aura he had around him.

Alistair body drooped to the floor like a sack of potatoes.

Azrael turned off his magic and wiped across his forehead taking off any sweat that was on his person. Behind his a second figure was behind him hiding behind the trees.

"You know you shouldn't just have watched me do that to your son. What will he think of me now."

The figure walked up to Azrael and patted him on his shoulder. When he steeped on the grass it wilted and died.

"Don't worry to much, just like I've trusted you with my secret for thirteen years now. I think this thing is going to not be much for you to figure out study and train well my son."

Those words were the last thing the figure said before dispersing into black mist.
