1 Brother's Quarrel

"Make sure my meetings for the week are all aranged today."

"Yes Sir."

"Also I have a charity banquet on..."

"The sixth of the upcoming month. I have made sure nothing would overlap."

"Good now what time is it?"

"It is 5:45 Sir, you have a meeting with Mr. Smith at 6:30 Sir."

"Very well tell André to have the car ready in ten."

"Yes Sir." Sarah is about to walk out the door when...

"Ms. Jay?"

Sarah Jay turned around to see a folder and notebook that she set down, totally forgetting about. Scurring over to the deck she picked her stuff up and blushed with embarrassment.

"Sorry Sir it won't happen again."

The man nodded as she quickly left the office. As she got out the door the color returned to her face. She couldn't help being curious, the meeting is only five to ten minutes away and her boss is never early. It wasn't that anyone cared even if for some reason he's late people laugh. Fashionably late they say, yet he is leaving in about five minutes, where is he off to?

She got to her desk and slowly returned to reality. Just long enough to see the gorgeous Nathaniel Nite walk in her direction. Nathaniel ran his fingers through his blonde spiky, yet smooth hair. At the same time fixed his suit with his other hand. Knowing all the women in the general area was staring at him with dreamy eyes. Yet his eyes were on Sarah Jay. She knew it was nothing special he liked eye contact with who he talks to, or is about to talk to. Yet his deep light blue eyes made her smile and feel special.

"Hello Sarah." Nathaniel said with his normal devilish smile he always had.

"Mr. Nite how can I help you this time." As Sarah said this Nathan took her hand and planted a light kiss on it and responded,

"Milady Please call me Nathan."

This really did it, made all the butterflies build up in her stomach. Only to be crushed to see the man she was just talking to. The older, more stern brother Sabastion come out of the office.

"Nathaniel stop patronizing my assistants."

Sabastion's eyes were in a deadly staring contest with his brother. If stares could kill, Nathan would be dead. Sarah and everyone else were watching wondering what would happen. To Sarah's surprise Nathan never lost his smile, and his eyes stayed soft. He broke eye contact looked back at Sarah lifted her hand back to his lips and planted one more soft kiss. Yet her eyes never left Sabastion.

"Nathaniel we have a meeting a 6:30. I expect you to be there on time."

"Yes Sir!"

Nathan said with an even bigger grin as he bowed. If anyone else had done that they would have been fired, and escorted off the property. It's probably why Nathan got off on it so much. You could see the anger in Sabastion's eyes as he walked past Nathan.

"Where are you going?" This was the only time Nathan's smile faded realizing the game was over.

"OUT!!" Sabastion said to the groupies hanging about.

So nervous to interrupt Sarah came to a realization. "Mr. Nite." When she called both brothers looked in Sarah's direction "With all the commotion I forgot to contact André."

Sabastion turned back towards the door, and Nathan knew what was about to happen and spoke out.

"Sabastion it was my fault."

Sabastion's eyes still full of rage pulled out his phone "Yes André, yes sorry need the car now thanks bye." As the phone call ended Sabastion got to the door, and with a very serious tone told everyone to get back to work.

By the time Sabastion got into the car it was already six o'clock. André seeing Sabastion's rage decided to drive in silence.

"André if you have something to say just say it." André was one of Sabastion's allies growing up. Sabastion took advise and help from him. It was rarely anyone else.

"Sir you only get this angry around Nathaniel. Sir you must know he enjoys the reactions." André said nervously poking the bear. "I don't know what happened in there but...."

Sabastion started to get angry again just thinking about it.

"What happened in there is that Nathaniel is twenty-seven years old and is acting like a child refusing responsibilities of work."

Sabastion started to calm down as he saw the lights of New York city take over the night sky.

"I just don't know how to keep him in line, and dad expects me too. How do I handle him?"

André was at lost for words. He knew a little bit of what struggles and weight Sabastion was going through. On one hand his father ran half the buildings in New York, not just ran but owned, passing some of them to Sabastion. In senior Nites age he wished to not necessarily retire but get rid of some of his stress. Sabastion's father also knew Sabastion couldn't handle all the work and stress even if Sabastion wanted it. Sabastion was a workaholic ever sense he was little, always at the top of his class. Aiming to impress his father.

To help Sabastion their father tried to push Nathaniel and their younger brother Jonathan to take some load. Jonathan finished college with a masters degree in business preparing to step up and help the family, all while dating his dream girl. Yet Nathaniel the middle age child couldn't be bothered. Which stressed their father out, and he demanded that Sabastion got his younger brother in line.

André feeling bad not know what to say was saved they made it to their destination, a nature park. As Sabastion got out of the car he invited André to go with him. But André hesitated not a lot of people knew this side of his boss. Where he goes when he needs to get away from the world. André didn't want to impose if Sabastion wanted to be alone. Yet when André looked into Sabastion's eyes he could tell that wasn't the case. Noticing that Sabastion didn't want to be alone André got out of the car and walked with his friend.
