10 Taken Aback

I stare deeply at the stars, gripping onto the brand new leather of his folded down convertible. Gasping as I feel him push himself deep inside of me, I feel a burst of warmth bust inside of me.

He pulls off and grabs his clothes pulling them over his head. he hands me enough for the morning after pill and kisses me on the cheek. "That was amazing May, I can't believe you were that tight babe, I love you so much." I blush not saying a word as I put my clothes back on as well.

Flustered I think, "That was my first time? Why was it so short?" Feeling defeated I kept the small talk to a minimum on the ride home. As we passed houses with people sleeping, I wonder what my mother and father are doing now. Would they be proud of me for not waiting till marriage?

Who cares, all they think about is my sister and her kids, while they baby my brother. I'd prefer to not even talk to them, because I don't need them.

Walking up to my front door of my two bedroom house, I sigh turning towards my boyfriend Travis. "Travis can I be honest?" He brought his head up to mine with a smile.

"Yes you may, May." He spoke in his sweet southern accent, sending me swooning over his cheeky grin that followed in pursuit after.

I sighed though, sitting on the porch staring up at him waiting for him to sit next to me. He got the hint and climbed down beside me. Getting real serious I look at him, "Do you want to get married? I mean we been datin a real long time an I just think we should make use of seven years together. I think I want to move on to the next picture with you, but it's okay if you don't feel the same we can jus--" he cuts me off with a deep passionate kiss sending me over the moon.

He grabs my hands and stand me up saying, "Since you just ruined your surprise I figure I might as well get it on with now." He says as he gets to his knee and pulls out the most angelic and dainty ring I've ever seen. Making tears tug at my eyes, I couldn't think of anything else but to hug him and cry.

Breathing his cologne on his neck he questions me, "So that's a yes?" I pull away with my makeup running down my face and my hair all messed up from the car.

I sniffle and says, "You're damn right it's a yes!" I slam my lips roughly against his, dragging him in through the front door and to the master bedroom for round two.
