Prologue
Ida opened his eyes, a beam of light directly hitting his face, causing his eyes to flitter. He looked around to his surroundings, only finding a dark pitch of grey and a light directly in front of him... Almost like the shape of a pop-up in video games? He got closer, finding out that his assumption right

Ida hesitated, asking himself if this was really a dream. "Well whatever!" He flicked his hand up, trying to press the 'Yes' but found out all it did was go a feint transparency.

The most well known species to exist, apart from dragons of course.
They're skills are average compared to other species but what's drives them is their number
not their skills.
[Elf]
A race of long-lived, ever youthful race of humanoids with various subraces. They are often admired by other races for their grace and skillful grasp of magic and archery. Race also includes: Half-Elf and Night-Elves
[Dwarf]
Short, humanoid people, known for mining

A species of personally made monsters consistenting of ghouls,
skeletons, mummies and vampires. All can be easily controlled if recognised as one.
[Goblins]
Small but lustful creatures they're innate ability to produce babies with almost any species is their key features of their perverted ways. Race also includes: Hobgoblins and Goblin Mages.
[Orcs]
Orcs are a primitive race of savage, bestial, barbaric and murderous species. They have a lust for female elves which drives them to attack elf villages regularly.
[Ogres]
Ogres are monsters that are large, hideous, man-like being that eats ordinary human beings, especially infants and children.
[Neutral Faction]

The Lizardmen forces are composed of various reptilian and amphibian creatures, including many based on dinosaurs and pterosaurs.
[Half-Dragon]
The Half-Dragons are reptilian, with scales, horns, elongated faces and exaggerated teeth and claws. All have wings and look like humanoid creatures but mixed with a dragons features. When engaged in combat are formidable creatures and can be nearly invulnerable to weak adventurers. All have a breath weapon according to their variety. They have the ability to transform into a full dragon late in their lifespan.

Ida flicked back up already getting used to this sort of menu. Like its controls had already been planted into his mind.

A special type of squid capable of transforming into a humanoid figure. It's able to suck out the life essence of any creature, and gain its abilities and skills. The Inkling can befriend every monster and speak its language.
Ida's eyes widened in suprise, "That's OP! Although... It reminds of that one manga I read" He said, instantly picking the Inkling species.

Ida hesitated, carefully speaking out his full name. "Ida Kosa"

Ida poked the 'Confirm button', waiting for something to happen.

Ida felt a sudden click, then a feeling of dropping. "Don't look down!"
Ida's mind wandered as he pushed against his thoughts.
"Hoooolllly SSSSHHHHIIIITT!" screaming as he felt more terrified than ever before, his thoughts raced trying to figure what to do. It clicked! "All those lifehack videos finally paid off!" He spread his arms out in front of him, spreading his legs out he looked down, realising that he was close to impact. "I-I'm not feeling right..." Ida collapsed midair, almost urinating his pants from fear.
