Pampered Sis

Ria Zhang stayed in bed for three days. With her puffy face, she cannot really go out in the public. Danni and Lulu went to the supermarket to buy food supplies and other things needed by a normal human.

Her eyes widened when she pulled the refrigerator's door and was greeted by only two bottles of water. She never felt like a beggar in her whole life.

She was currently browsing the TV channels when the doorbell rang. Her two maids brought a key so they would not ring the doorbell.

Unless they lost it.

Ria Zhang curled her lips. They badly want to do squat rush, huh?

She stood up, taking a step towards the door. She looked through the peep hole and saw a man in his business suit. Ria Zhang inclined her head. Who was this man? She pulled the door open. Glancing at the small opening, she eyed the man.

"Yes?"

The man's face broke into a smile. "Little sis," he whispered.

The man was none other than Sierra Co's elder brother, Stanley Co or commonly known as Stan Co. The last time he visited his sister's apartment, Sierra Co didn't face him.

Ria Zhang opened the door wider. He was Sierra Co's elder brother? "E-Elder brother?"

Her body went stiff when Stan Co grasped her upper arms before pulling her into a hug. "I miss you, little sis," Stan Co whispered as he tightened his arms around his younger sister.

Ria Zhang smacked her 'elder brother's' side. "Can't breathe," she protested. Stan Co laughed before distancing himself. He stared at his sister's face before shuffling her hair. "Stop it. I'm not a child anymore."

Of course, Ria Zhang was no eight-year old child. She was already 60 years old in a body of a 28-year old woman. In her previous life, she was the eldest in the brood of five. In other words, she was the disciplinarian. She didn't know how it felt like to be the younger sister.

She was always the older one, the senior among her siblings and her friends. That's why, it was easy for her to cope up with Sierra Co's personality.

Anyway, she was not expecting to go back in her time. Her time pretty much ended there. It was time to live her life as Sierra Co. Although she read the letter of Sierra Co, she was not sure if it was the whole truth. She was not saying that Sierra Co might be lying but she cannot discount the possibility that there was something more than meets the eye.

She needed to gather information beyond Sierra Co's point of view.

"You're not going to invite me in?" Stan Co raised an eyebrow.

Ria Zhang took a step inside followed by her elder brother. Stan Co's eyes roamed around the apartment. He wondered how Sierra Co endured this sick place. He occupied the single sofa.

"Would you like to eat?"

Stan Co shook his head. "I had a lunch meeting with one of the investors of our company."

"Okay," she shrugged. "What brings you here, anyway?"

His eyes bored into hers. Although she seemed tired with those black circles under her eyes, his sister's complexion was much better compared to what he saw in the CCTV last week. "How are you?" Stan Co asked after a while.

Stan Co didn't know that his 'sister' has eyebags because she cannot sleep due to itchiness of her face and body.

"I'm good. Why?"

"Just let me destroy that man, little sis. He doesn't care about you at all," Stan Co took a deep breath. His parents wanted to see their favorite daughter but he stopped them. It was not the right time yet.

"No. I will do it myself and you are not allowed to intervene," Ria Zhang told the man in front of her. What? She's itching for some actions and this brother of hers will just stop her? No way!

Stan Co blinked when he realized what his sister had told her. She wanted to destroy that Marvin Kang herself? "Are you kidding?"

She raised an eyebrow. "Do I look like one? He is mine. As well as that Kara Lu."

Her brother leaned on the sofa, tapping his fingers on the arm rest. He seemed not convince.

"Who is more powerful? The Cos or the Lus?"

Stan Co laughed. "What kind of question is that? Of course, we're better in terms of assets."

"And the Kangs?"

"Dear sister, the Kangs are just one of those noveau riche families. They haven't cemented their power in Costa City yet."

Ria Zhang nodded. "And who is the most powerful in the Costa City?"

Stan Co wrinkled his eyebrows. "Why are you asking? It's a public knowledge."

"I probably lost my common sense when I chased that Marvin Kang," she said.

He rolled his eyes. "It's good of you to know." At least, his sister admitted her wrongdoings.

"So, who is it?"

"The Yuns. They own three-fourths of the Costa City," her brother informed her.

"Do they have a good-looking heir?"

Stan Co almost slid from his seat when his sister's words entered his mind. "Don't even try, Sierra. Jacob Yun is different from Marvin Kang. He is beyond our league, do you understand?"

"What? It's not as if I'm going to chase after him, too. I just asked you," she stuck her tongue.

He breathed a sigh of relief. "Good then. Do you want to go out? Shopping or massage?"

"Salon?" Ria Zhang's eyes twinkled when she said that. Gosh, she badly needed it. This new body of hers needed a total makeover.

Stan Co stood up. "Anything for my little sister."

She also stood up, punching her fists in the air. "Yes!"

If there was one thing that Ria Zhang brought from her previous life to the current time, it was her childishness. Even her grandchildren called her 'Childish Spinster Grandma'.

Her brother looked on, shaking his head. Sierra Co was never the type to display her emotion. Although their parents wanted her to grow up like a normal child, the elders of the Co Family have great expectations. All but one has already disowned Sierra Co as an heiress to the Co fortune.

It was a good thing that their family has other businesses and of course, their grandfather still loved his favorite granddaughter. A smile hovered on Stan Co's lips. No matter what happens, he will always be by her side.
