1 Chapter 1 The New Journey Begins

This is a world full of Powers. Different types of powers are spread across the world. Because humans have 3 types of power, they have created different clans. There are 3 major clans the first clan specializes in mana to cast spells they are known as the Ken clan. The second clan has special eyes which allow them to use special powers from their eyes. There is no doubt that this is the strongest clan. They are called the Yugi clan. Many powers of the Yugi clans are still unknown to this world. The third clan is known as the Hataru clan. They have special Body Types which help them to manipulate Mana usage from the there body. These are the 3 Major/Biggest clans in this world but there are many smaller clans as well. Some clans were created by people who had no powers, some were created to fight against other clans.

The Matsuya clan was created. The purpose of this is to assist those who do not possess mana in their bodies and therefore cannot use spells.

Somewhere in the Matsuya Clan

(Sound of a box opening)

"Hmm, what is this band with a fire logo on it? It looks very cool. Let me try it on."

The child was about to wear the band when his father came back to the room.

" ICHIRO! Stop what you are doing. Stop right there and put the band back in the box," said Tora (Father).

Dad, what happened? Calm down. And what is this band about? It looks pretty cool. I found it in the box that had your old stuff," said Ichiro.

"Don't even think about using it. No more discussion on this now. Anyhow, this box belongs to your mother, and you are not capable of listening to the story about her," Tora replied.

"Hold on Dad, I want to know more about this band. You never told me anything about my mother. I only know that she died when I was just 1 year old. I just remember her photos. You always told me that I was not old enough to comprehend the story of my mother. Because I feared you might be hurt, I never mentioned her to you again. But now you need to tell me because I don't know why but I have a feeling that it is related to my mother's DEATH. And if it wasn't important, you wouldn't have gotten angry that quickly," said Ichiro.

Ichiro, you never listen to me, so sit down and let me tell you about this band. You know that we are a part of the Matsuya clan. People of the Matsuya clan cannot possess mana. Therefore, we mainly depend on our physical strength. However, over time some researchers from the Matsuya clan figured out a special plant essence that helps mana flow in our body temporarily. They used that essence to create the mana band. When you clear the admission exam to enter the school. Then the students can give another exam and if someone clears that exam they are eligible to train with the mana band. Researchers have discovered 2 types of mana essence in history: fire essence and earth essence. Each human has a different type of mana essence. The band you see right there is a fire band. But these bands damage our bodies over time so I will never allow you to train with these bands. It was the reason your mother died and that I am in this poor health condition," said Tora.

When Ichiro heard the reason for his mother's death, he was stunned.

"Yes, that is, unfortunately, true," said Tora.

(Unknown person listening to them talking from the window)

" Tora you never listen. I told you not to. I thought you would understand but you didn't " said .

" Wait Ichiro if I remember the admission exams are in 36 days you better start to train with them because I am currently not in an adequate condition to train you," said Tora.

"WHATTTTT ADMISSION EXAMS ARE IN 36 DAYS!" said Ichiro.

"I had a feeling that you had forgotten. Honestly, Katsumi didn't remember as well. That's a surprise," said Tora.

"He never said anything about the admission exam. And he is so strong he barely needs to train for the exam," said Ichiro.

"I have to leave now and you better keep moving if you expect to clear the exam," said Tora.

(Tora left)

"Now that my father has left, I can see this band. There has to be something more to this. Let me ask Katsumi about this

Ichiro left to meet his best friend Katsumi. Ichiro decided to grab the band with him to see if Katsumi knew anything about the band.

" Katsumi Katsumi hey wait I am coming," said Ichiro.

"You are so slow, Ichiro," said Katsumi.

" h-h-hh- I am here h--h. By the way Katsumi I wanted to ask you something." said Ichiro.

"Hmm what do you want to know?" asked Katsumi.

"What do you know about mana bands?" said Ichiro.

" You want to know about Mana bands? I mean I know a lot about them. What exactly are you asking me?" said Katsumi.

" You see I found this mana band and my dad said that is my mother's band. I have a feeling that this has something more to it," said Ichiro.

" let me see," said Katsumi.

"wait what how is it possible" (Katsumi thinking)

" Katsumi what happened? What are you thinking? Is there something wrong?" asked Ichiro.

"It's nothing. By the way, how is your training going for the admission exam?" said Katsumi.

"Don't even start it dude my dad said he currently can't train me and I haven't even started to train," said Ichiro.

"That means you are training alone. You can train with me if you want," said Katsumi.

" Wait really? You are strong. I can learn a lot from you," said Ichiro.

I need to figure this out. There is something. (Katsumi thinks)

" Ichiro when do you wanna start training? Tomorrow? Is it OK with you?" said Katsumi.

35 Days Left

Ichiro headed to Katsumi's house to train with him

Ichiro asked, "Katsumi, where are you?"

"Ichiro come up I wanna show you something," said Katsumi

"Ichiro look my dad left a training schedule for both of us before heading to work," said Katsumi

"Hmm a training schedule that's awesome. Do you always use a training schedule?" said Ichiro.

" No, I told my dad that you were coming to train with me. And I saw the schedule near my bed." Said Katsumi

"Anyway, let's get to training," said Ichiro.

"Ok let's train according to this schedule," said Katsumi.

"What this is ridiculous we need to meditate for four hours," said Ichiro

Can it be? Can it be related? Dad certainly knows something worthwhile, so it's best to follow his advice. It can get me closer to revealing the truth. (Katsumi thinks)

"it's a new training method Ichiro let's try it." said Katsumi

"There are only 35 days left, and at this pace, I won't be able to qualify," said Ichiro.

" you trust me right then let's start to train," said Katsumi

20 Days Left

While Ichiro and Katsumi trained hard to pass the entrance exam, many days passed. But Katsumi was trying to research the mana band.

Later that night

Yes, I found it. I found my father's mana band.

So this mana band has a mana essence meter that regenerates. And if I am right just above this meter there should be a sign like a crack. It's in Father's Mana Band, yes.

I should have some unused earth mana bands in my cabinet, ya ya here. Now, if I am correct, the symbol shouldn't be there. Ya, it is not there.

It is my theory that if a mana band is used, it leaves a mark on the band. This is because even if it's a tiny amount, it is so strong that it can begin to damage the metal.

But I am not sure about my theory because I am studying this on 2 different types of bands. 1st father's fire band and the unused earth band. And even though the essence is powerful, the metal used to create this is the strongest metal found in the Matsuya clan. When the mana band uses an earth spell or a fire spell, they cannot even do any damage to this metal.

Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Now this is getting annoying. I can't even ask my father about this because somehow I believe that he knows something important about this and he is trying to hide that truth.

I think I will research this later.
