Mayrine was sitting on the floor for a little while now, Im not exactly familiar with it but I believe its called Dogeza or something
Her younger brother named Erin heard her story and scolded her for being over-reactive, she said the name when she was explaining. So I got a gist of it since they are too close. Ah.... and by the way she was disturbing others who was sleeping on nearby rooms, seems like she has done this many times before aswell
Well it was indeed close tight spacing, to point that the walls arent that much thick. Well they value the weighting too, so something like soundproof enough walls are no good
Also it seems that those people who are currently sleeping was part of the midnight shift, much like call centers and the likes, they are actually parted into 3 shifts of morning afternoon and midnight, shift that last until the next turn
"So what is it exactly? the cause of your unessesary blunder?" Says Erin Looking downward into his sister
"That" Mayrine says pointing at the table, pouting
"This, Money? Hey, did you do something?"
"Eh? N-No, Im just surprised that she don't know them So Im helping her"
"Haaah I see, fine... I understand, but to shout like that, how many time do I have to remind you about other people" Erin sigh looking at her sister
Erin moved closing into the table, seemingly going to take the money when
"Wait, that was her's" Mayrine mutters on a hurry
"Her's? this is... wait?" Erin looked at her sister before shifting his eyes into me
They really look alike but, seriously don't involve other people when your getting punished, I feel like I was involve in some case and I feel endangered
"Y-You own this money?" Erin asked while seemingly being observative, one way or another, he is actually doubting even his older sister

Erin dropped his shoulders and sat on the bed a few distance from me but close to the table before releasing a sigh
"Fine, I get it. You can continue what ever thing you are doing..." he said while lowering his voice
I was weirded out by the development to point that I was unable to talk, but I didn't expect that it'll end up on me being completely alienized
Mayrine rose up from the floor and quickly went up and sat beside Erin, then she hugged him from behind
I who was at a distance, unconsciously gulped at the sight. The distance just got even further, I was alienized but its no longer just galaxy it even crossed further dimentions
The bulges was squeezing the young boy with great intensity to the point that I even felt both my lungs squished aswell... what's with this sight... just how cruel life could be for a loner...
Erin just sat there embarassed, a complete 360 of how he was earlier...

Money, according to them is called Spirin or Si. It was the late currency that bloomed after the last Heroic Era
Due to the severe damages on that Era, kingdoms on the continent experienced massive spike on upkeep. The trading industry changed aswell, one factor to this is the monetary value per currency, the money before required to be converted first before actually engaging in kingdom to kingdom trades. This created a huge influx amongst traders...
They managed to get by with this mess, not until the appearance of fraud and fake money, they dominated the market like wildfire, bringing massive loss to multiple other kingdoms that has the lowest currency exchange rate, killing thousands of poor families by hunger. There are also some greedy kingdoms that mass produced their currency to target low kingdoms, even affecting the mining and smithing industry and further damaging the economy beyond recovery...
As a result, the economy brokedown by themselves, shut, and massive bankruptcy of profits for traders, it also included casualties
They managed to get by this crisis by only accepting Goods to Goods trading, slowly reviving the value of trade to atleast only be able to aid the ongoing war against demons
The later date after the Great Demon Lord was subdued along with the war and Heroic Era closing down, the majority of human countries went through a conference along with the heroes and decided to settle with only 1 currency
But one country which wasnt on the frontlines or affected by the severity of the Demon crisis, refused this Idea and by instead Organized a new currency by themselves...
But no trivial problems resulted after that, so the order remained the same up until today where the exchange is the same value
The worlds economy was on a mess, and after the currency was decided, traders set off and traded the old ones then recovering most of the loses, one factor is also the end of War and the begining of Restoration Era
1 Holed Copper = 1 Si
1 Copper = 10 Si
1 Silver = 100 Si
1 Large Silver = 1000 Si
1 Gold = 100000 Si
1 While Gold = 1000000 Si
1 Platinum Coin = 1000000000 Si
Thats it, and its universal so I'm sure I wont be having any more problem understanding them
But apparently the overseas trading is another matter, but so far there are only 2 Currency circulating but they had same value, the 3rd one aparently uses Si aswell which was the trade partner that this Ship goes
Spirin or Si of 1st and 3rd continent and the Nexin or Nin currency of the 2nd
Also the country we are going to is <The Largest Continent | I'azen> Named after the first Generation Hero Farizen the Swordsaint
"As for the other informations, its better if you went to an academy and learn it yourself" Erin said when he noticed the lenght of the conversation and sighed before saying that he has to work now...
"Ah yeah, I have a shift tommorow morning aswell, so I gotta go stop and sleep" Mayrine
"Oh ah... Okay... Un" I waved my hand on Erin as he went on the door, while Mayrine went on the nearby bed which suprised me...
Sigh...
Thats alot of information for me, apparently as a trader profession, they are taught about the history of the current currency, they just happen to get carried away and even included the dark history of it... I have a slight hint that it might have been a thing or precaution for future generation of aspiring traders...
I was alone once again, well technically I'm not, its been a few minutes and its already quiet now. Mayrine have most likely fallen asleep by now, my guess is that the upper deck is for Erin as I had occupied the only single bed in the room
Hmm... was it their parents bed? or somekind?
Also I had a total of 300,600 Si on my pocket
They said that the money I had was the early Si currency, based on its carving method. Also it seems that there are still uses for the old currencies as they can be exchanged on Guilds, some uses them for collection purposes but its usually smelted and studied, also the highest valued currency during the Heroic Era was sold in high prices while the lowest ones are sold by as a material
Methods of gaining them are said to be by finding lost treasures
The old currency before was handled by quality refining methods so their value was diferent, but by implementation of fixed currency, the old coins and refining methods was both lost by the passage of time
