13 Magic System
"Good, Good... I'm doing pretty fine, the leveling it somewhat fast and I wonder why it was like this... but still" the leveling is high, ever since my first treant several changes can already be felt from my body
The next hunt after the treants was a few wolf, and I tested leveling some other parts of my skills... I also spotted some slimes and spiders as I tried going down the cliff since it wasn't that much high, I spotted some boars outside the thick forest and hunted them and upon putting some materials I turned to look at the thick forest
However I felt a chilling feeling when I almost reached the grove...

Scared but I was not, Chilled but it wasn't cold, Heavy but I didn't do anything... It was strange, almost a bad premonition. I tried getting out of there just as fast, I spotted some monsters along the way, there's even some more spiders and all, but I lost my will to fight so I quickly fled and decided to head back
Upon reaching the cave, I walked inside of it fast enough. Reaching the chair as I muttered... "Dangerous... Something out there is dangerous" I haven't felt this feeling before, but its just too bad... I feel uneasy... and its irritating...
"Was that intimidation?" Seems likely, I have felt it before, but it has never been like this
"I feel weak" The feeling of weakness almost devoured me at that time. "So I was weak after all, I'm being fed up by my stats but I never imagined it was never enough" J-Just something out there was bad, I feel like something out there was too dangerous. Intimidation powerful enough to affect me Physically and Mentally, thats too fictional but like in those novels, its most likely a creature that possess strong powers
"A Boss class?" Seems likely... the idea of boss came from my experience as a gamer however it seemed likely. Worst case is that thing is only one of a pack, or thats just a regular inhabitant of that place and something more dangerious is hiding within the thick grove
"Haaah, for now I need to avoid that place and get stronger. Its not impossible for it to change location as well so I also need to be careful" Unlike in games its most likely that it will move aswell by the time
Scratching my head I let out a sigh, "Gaaaaaah" Im starting to hate this world even more, Everything just has to be dangerous. Happy life? I'm starting to doubt that
I picked the sword "Ill be needing to get a better weapon if I'm planning to survive through all of this" one of the essentials is to first find a weapon to protect yourself, that being the case I'll be needing a more powerful and durable one. Since the term powerful cant even explain that thing, as its just too overwhelming
I lightly slap myself "Too much, I'm overthinking too much" I need to call this day an end and sleep, I need some peace of mind
After eating my dinner and untying the leaves, I immediately went and sleep

"Haaawaaah" I woke up and rubbed my eyes, how long has it been? 5th day? rubbing my eyes with this small hands, and having gotten used with my small height, heh... I've almost certainly got used at my body having no lewd thoughts..., as I'm afraid I won't even survive the next day
But seriously at times you might even wonder just how much of a different was it to the male counterpart, my senses are active at most times and I'm weirded out. Slightly touching your body would send tickling and even shiver, the issue of the bathroom was actually washed away by the river. *ahem* Its not like im running away from it but, Ah... I'm an open minded person in the first place "Or more like I cant even afford to care about it at all... *sigh*" If push comes to shove, Ill have to stake my already dead manliness... truly disappointing
The bath, cooking and eating, ... having done them I went inside the house. The dangers are still lurking around and I have to get serious aswell.
Laying above the table was the loots I collected from both the hunt and the gathering materials
After repeated Appraisal test till level V
The result was as followed:
[Forest spider web ball. A ball made of spider web, the web was made from mana, and has high mana conduction and durability]
[Root Treat's branch. A branch made of quality wood, a good quality material]
[Deer pelt. Simple pelt gathered from a deer, thin and smooth, dried at sun similar to leather]
[Boar pelt. Simple pelt gathered from a boar, thick and rough, dried at sun similar to leather]
[Stone. A regular stone, rough texture, stone that has a strange resistant to magic]
[Rusted metal scraps <Iron>]
[Rusted broken Spear blade <Iron>]
[Ripped clothes]
It included the cores, along with the new monster cores
The pelts from yesterday was still laid outside being dried
It seemed that I can't improve the skill anymore, it certainly said even more information as it underwent some upgrade
I tried thinking up of something with all of this, but no matter how hard I think up, all that came up was smithery
It was possible but I need to think it up even more. I have few ideas on how it works, I tried to think for the name of it but I just end up forgetting it, But since I know of it anyway the name is no problem. Im thinking of making a hut outside... but its just going to ruin the camouflage of the cave. I'm not particularly aware if there are creatures going past this place especially when im out but I can't just give up my cover
How much strength do I have? was it enough to build a hut? I think... then how about made of stones?... too much labor..., should I consider breaking the cave walls? that wont do
"haah, on novels they'll just make one out of magic" ... yea... magic... ah... "Now that I think of it, I dont have magic at my stats but I have high Int" maybe ill learn magic if I pushed my limits!
"Novels... novels was it?, how do they do magic again?. Ah yes, they recite a chant... which I don't know at all" was that all? hmm... "The novels also had some stories dictating chantless magic" its funny how novels from the past would be useful at this rate, I've only read them since I had a considerable amount of free time
"Now what should I do for this so called chantless magic to work?" It wasn't Instantaneous as said if they lose focus they'll distrupt the magic... the books I found here did say magic existed on the war but never even once said how to use them
"Lets think of a method" I went outside the cave to get some fresh air and some free space to test stuffs
I can say that fire crystals is one thing to consider as magic. When I transferred magic into the crystals, instead of shooting out or burning itself, it just show up an image of fire
First off I sat on a lotus position closed eye and tried to be as comfortable as possible to concentrate, then I slowly repeated the same method I have when sending mana into something, but this time it was just until the mana transfer into my veins
Cold, this sensation again, like your blood vessel is transferring a cold water, or your throat when you are drinking cold water
Slowly guiding it to my hands, I slowly think up of the image of fire I had before from the fire crystal. I muttered "fire"

"a fireball!" words suddenly escaped my mouth, like any other magic based novels, I want my first magic to be a fire ball too. I had a wide enough imagination since I was young, having staring at mostly everything carefully and even after watching shows on media, I grew up till my thinking is almost the same as a natural animation where if I ever got into trouble, I can vividly imagine myself getting scolded... haah...
I check up the skill tab frame, Magic... they have subs aswell but didn't mention what can I do or if they have Spells that have cooldown
Chant magic seems to not exist or maybe it boost the power?, but there are no cooldown on skills so then maybe people abuse that and spam skills? if that is so then thats the more reason why one need to get efficient on magic
I can't say for sure about the other races, but I hope they do not get so different from what I've read on novels
Looking at the hovering ball of fire above my hand I tried staring at it, there I sensed mana on it, I didn't put much mana on it and it was just a small clump of whats loaded into my veins... but the distribution of mana within the ball was unexpectedly calm... it was expanded till the very tip of the fire... and I can sense the magic weird enough...
"Telepathy? or connection between it?" somehow I can sense the well being of the fire yet it wasn't alive "Do I have to think about firing it on a location?" as I was curious about what will happen, I ordered the fireball to hit the nearby injacent rock...
*fwoosh* with a sound similar to a gust of wind, the fire went into its trajectory and launch itself from above my hand
*Klishhh* like the sound of a hot pan getting sprayed by a water the fire ball hit its target. The end result was the rock now looks like it got bitten off like a certain Apple logo...
The fire ball splash like a water upon hitting its target and spread around the rock, its like throwing a molotov. "No wait, I'm still on the forest, other creatures might smell off the smoke or I might burn a tree" Hurriedly dusting off the fire I entered the house again and think of certain ways to deal with things
