As sound of a water droplet...
Its familiar...
"Huh?" Xylene sprang up from the bed in an instant and opened her eyes
"A dream?..." she growl in annoyance as she felt some sweat dripping down her face...
Somehow, the boat shook lesser today
Wiping down her face, she made sure that it was dry. Her body now got one hell of a sensitivity, if its sticky... you know it wont just end up by just sticky... its to the point that its irritating as if sooner or later it will turn into a glue trap
She wanna take a bath because of it. Annoying as it may, she doesn't have confidence in her swimming capability... do they have a bath?... I bet old style boats doesn't have one. Seems like she has to rely on magic...
She may be good at floating above water, however swimming is another matter
She could even praise her unconscious self for living above Sea water for who knows how long...
She dusted herself as she saw ripples on the surface of the cloth
Fixing her annoying hair that even got into her mouth, she stretched herself before heading out of the room
Seing that nobody was inside made her question where the hell did they go
Yawn "Ugh?" what appeared in front of her was a bright light that was even brighter than last night
Sun? like 'midday' or something? the sun was high and she could slightly feel its heat on her body...
'There's only one sun here but two moons... its kinda nice since its gonna be hell if theres two suns... can't even imagine climate change with that scenario'
She didnt want to interfere or see anyone just yet so she silently stood under the shade on the side of the door
Normally she would just stay on the room, but this is better
Hmm? wait what?
She could see several ships in front of her, some even getting closer
She got a little tensed up abit and woke up from her sleepy daze...
Sounds of birds were heard around, a deep version of it
This would mean that it'll most likely be seagulls or birds that likes water. Mostly those that hunt fishes...
Walking on around she slowly went near the railing and took a peak downward, what she saw was a shallow water where she could see most of the rocks
'Most likely we have reached the port or went near a shore'
She walked around looking for anyone while wearily looking around
"Oh..." she muttered unconsciously
By the turn that she made, she saw a shoreline where several small ships was docked...
There she could see people unloading barrels and barrels out of each ships... several fishing rods, reels, and nets could also be seen
Lots of people can be seen working all around...
At one spot she could see barrels pilled up together and some contents of barrels being transferred into a crate...
There are also carriages moving on about the area... also there are tons of wooden platforms and stoned platforms all around...
She moved on to see the situation on the ship...
When she moved, she couldn't stop noticing several chipped off corners along with some damage on the railings, there are also visible holes and torn up spots along with several arrows scattered around
"Just what happen last night..."
On the middle deck she could see people around moving several containers of barrels, crates, sacks and many more...
The middle compartment was open as if it was a hatch...
By far on her observation...
This is indeed a port, like the thing that they are talking about, along with the atmosphere and scenery, it could only be seen as a countryside port...
It maybe, but theres also a chance of something bad if you think about the last event
She wanted to get off to get to feel the things more but she denied the idea since she might get into something due to not knowing anything...
Plus the clothes she has right now was borrowed, she cant afford to dirty it
She was reminded about what Iris said one time about getting used to accepting help...
She had a point about it and she can really feel it why...
Everyone should always have a hidden motive, its always 1 or 2 motive aside from what it should be...
There are no such thing as free stuff...
She cant help but remember games about bonus and stuffs but she denied it
Of course free stuff meant that you are close to being more binded to the game. Its like trials, where you try it and might sooner get hooked into it, also the more you get free stuff the more your urge to get something even more better increases...
Above all its just a hidden motive by the scheme of being free...
'I think its better to search a shop for clothes first thing when I made it there...'
'Also, one thing in life is that I need a stable income...'
'The faster I stabilize my money the better. Even if I had a good amount of money, its better to prepare before it gets depleted'
'There could be more to what Sir Edward said last night... My best bet could be adventurers guild since mercenary and knights should depend on trained skill and experience, same goes to all sub categories... plus I have no idea what the heck are they doing on wizard's guild, I bet my half-ass magic couldn't even get to them'

Its gotta be the typical gathering quest so it would be the best starting choice
Good thing I knew some things before hand, thanks to those Rpg(Role Playing Games) games
Arriving back on the room she saw Erin on the bed sleeping...
'It could be that he's tired so I better not make any noice'
Unbeknownst to her, ever since... her foot never made any noice
Its more like a body memorization and not a conscious one
Also she has a perfect sneaking spree attendance whenever its her turn on school's cleaning duty... but its definitely not part of the story
She sat back to the bed when she heard some footsteps on the corridor
*Tuck*
The door opened and Mayrine entered inside holding a tray
Mayrine looked around first before spotting Xylene looking at her, which she was kinda shocked since she barely noticed...
*Ahem* "Xylene how long have you been awake?"
"Hn? Not too long ago..."
"Is that so?" she wondered for abit, but decided to ignore it "Well, here's the tray of food. We have reached the port recently so its kinda busy outside"
"...How about yesterday?"
"That? Uhh... you mean the night right?"
"Un."
"Well, they confirmed it to be ship and we managed to shake them away, nothing concerning happened and everyone is safe. Honesty they were glad that you notified them earlier. By the way, I just heard it from Erin but what exactly happen?"
"I just saw it..."
"Really? Heh... your eyes must be something, well that is how Erin said it. Anyways how are you now, you were really tired last night, plus you wake up late"
"Unmm well I guess I'm fine now"
"Okay... then here" Mayrine said putting the tray in front of me
"Un"
I ate the tray for a bit of time and a footstep resounded once again
*tuck*
"Hmm? Oh. Sis why are you here?"
"Um, I heard the kid was in here, she helped us yesterday. Oh was it this girl?"
"Oh yah I forgot you havent met her yet. Well shes Xylene"
"Xylene huh, well nice to meet you"
"Un."
"Ahaha well I also heard shes shy, but I'm suprised to see that shes this cute"
She said before pinching my cheek
Well I finished eating so I'm fine, but I'm not expecting to found out that pinching cheek would feel like this, her hands were kinda soft
"Well my name's Eline, the oldest. Well our name's pretty much close to each other. Our mother's name was Ailine and its pretty much the cause of our doting father so I had the name"
"Un I see..."
"Well your pretty young huh..."
"Umm... I just remember. Can I ask again about guilds?" I said
"Guilds?... what about it?"
"I wanted to join a Guild but I dont have much idea about it"
"Join? but arent you too young?"
"Well she really wanna join one considering that she kept asking about it" Mayrine butted in
"That huh? well I guess you are feeling insecure. But you know, actually it would be better to enter an orphanage on your age. Its a hard work entering one, plus its actually a dangerous job aswell"
I got reminded by that statement, well yes I understand that its dangerous, but I just realize what could possibly be my future living on that

"But I wanted to join one in order to live, I dont wanna be on an orphanage" plus the fact that my age was pretty much on the line already with getting jobs. It maybe that I havent got a job before but I had confidence that if I was given a chance I would be able to do it
Sigh, Its time to grow up in life. Theres no longer peace and all that, and I must accept it...
"Well if you have really decided on it, Ill bring you with me when I go out, I was tasked to go there anyways. If possible I might be able to help you atleast... ah by the way, let me tell you this. You have to decide it yourself, its not simple, no actually you must be confident on your self defence, and remember, dont just trust anyone easily, the world isnt simple, specially since you are a little child. Say whats your age?"
"Eightte- *ahem* Eight, nine, ten..." I muttered lowering my voice slowly "I should be thirteen"
"Should be thirteen? seriously you dont act like your age..." she said scratching her head
Pretty much I havent told anyone my age, so I guess I could atleast modify it right now so that I would be able to join a guild or at least a job. I believe it should be a thing aswell so I have to prepare
"Wait thirteen? how?" Xylene said shocked by the age
*Ahem* *Ahem* I kinda agree with that... as I was on a carefree personality mode, pretty much since I was mostly alone. Its bad if I got used to it. Right now should be the right time to get serious in life, I would be interacting with more people from now on
I should revert myself back to the original me, the one outside
Sigh... "Haaah~ well I'm thirteen" I said to confirm it
"Hmm? woah, thats too much change isnt it" Mayrine said seing the sudden change on me going back to being lifeless
"Well, I gotta say that matches your age now. Well~ well~ I wont be saying a thing about your appearance"
"Your too small for your age..." said Mayrine while closely looking on me
I got irritated for abit an decided to pinch her cheeks, half of it was because it was tempting but I just disregard it
"Well if you look at that. Where were we again?. Oh right, So it was guild huh" Eiline said
"Well Guilds weren't that much difficult to explain. They were places where people gather and get jobs, Adventurers Guild for example was a place where aspiring adventurers gather, mostly jobs relating about going through places to places like gathering, doing specific task like subjugation of monsters, and also miscellaneous task.
Oh Mayrine you mentioned that she asked for it before"
"She did, it was father first, and based on Erin, he must have told her about names and stuffs about them"
"Really?, pretty observant huh. Well its better to be like that actually...
For Mercenaries Guild it was about requirements on doing certain task concerning humans... Guarding, observing, and much more. Actually its not advisable for unprepared and unskilled.
For Knights Guild it was about Knighthood and stuff, they were the only guild relating to kingdoms. Apprentice, Novices and mostly knight rank train and joins them. They are mostly stationary.
The rest were sub Guilds already and they are only available for people who studied them before, they were profession inclined like the Wizards Guild.
For us, the Merchant's Guild, It was a place for things regarding Merchants and businesses. Commissioning and so on. Its also like a community of merchant where you have to go through before starting a business.
Well I hope that answers most of your questions" She said as she patted my head
"Mn..."
"I'll be back just abit, you better bring her to the changing room Mayrine"
"Oh yea, now that you mention it, the bath"
"Well she should have some before going out later. See ya"
She heard strange giggles outside the door after that
'My ears were quite something if I say so myself'
She was taken to the Changing room and was taken into a bathing area. Actually they used something like a crystal in there, where you tapped it and water comes out
Actually its high so she had abit of trouble
She took abit of time in there considering it to be her first actual bath in her second life.
Once she got back, she saw a Woman there the same hair as the sisters, which was actually their mother Ailine based on what Mayrine had said
First thing she did was to actually hug her, good thing she dried herself beforehand. But she cant help herself when she heard of her age to be 'old enough'. Way... way too far from how she looked. She even got existential crisis due to her common sense breaking right off the bat.
Then she was taken back into the changing room where she took some time deciding. No... actually it wasn't her deciding it, and it shouldnt be a long time either
They were old clothes that the two sister's had so she was free to take it. Actually they considered to sell it aswell so Xylene took the chance to ask for it...
But she saw 'several' extremely girly clothes suddenly appearing out of the closet... she got shaken by the sheer amount of it, not even considering that it was her wearing it...

And so she became a typical dressing doll...
